Chapter 305

After Tsunade, the Supreme Commander of the Allied Shinobi Forces, issued the mobilization order:

Soon, in front of Iwagakure, the Third Tsuchikage, Ōnoki, floated before the massive Iwa-nin forces, his voice deep and solemn:

"For the sake of our nations, for the sake of our villages' interests, during the First through Third Great Ninja Wars, shinobi harbored hatred and harmed one another. I've seen enough of that pain."

At the gates of Kirigakure, the Fifth Mizukage Mei stood before the gathering Kiri-nin, her tone somber and grave:

"The Bloody Mist... the infighting, the slaughter, the destruction of clans... we've endured so much."

Before the Suna-nin forces, Chiyo, the elder temporarily acting as Kazekage, had a sharp glint in her previously clouded eyes:

"Our Fifth Kazekage sacrificed himself to protect the village, to protect all of us. The pain of Sunagakure, the pain of other villages, and the suffering of the entire shinobi world—all of it stems from 'Akatsuki' and the man behind it, 'Hagoromo Gensou'."

Standing before the vast Kumo-nin forces, the Fourth Raikage A, filled with bloodlust, roared:

"If we allow Gensou to succeed, the Five Great Ninja Villages will cease to exist! The shinobi world will cease to exist! So—"

Lastly, Tsunade faced the Konoha forces preparing to head to the battlefield. She pointed to her forehead protector, emblazoned with the kanji for "Shinobi," her expression resolute.

"So, at this moment, we are no longer enemies! Here and now, there is no Konoha, no Iwa, no Suna, no Kiri, and no Kumo. There is only... shinobi!"

"For our comrades! For the shinobi world! Shinobi, follow me!!"

Roar! Roar! Roar!

In an instant, the forces of Konoha, Iwa, Kiri, Suna, and Kumo raised their arms and shouted in unison.

For the first time, the Five Great Ninja Villages set aside hatred and interests to truly unite.

Because they had a common enemy: Gensou.

"Such a scene... it's my first time seeing this," the Third Hokage, Hiruzen, remarked, watching as Konoha shinobi replaced their village headbands with ones marked with the kanji for "Shinobi," inspired by Tsunade's call to arms. He couldn't help but feel emotional as he realized similar scenes were occurring in the other villages.

Having lived through the First, Second, and Third Great Ninja Wars, Hiruzen was deeply moved.

Beside him, Hashirama, now fully aware of the shinobi world's developments after his death, spoke with hope in his voice:

"After this battle, I hope the bonds formed through fighting together will allow shinobi to set aside their differences, to strive together, and to bring true peace to the shinobi world."

Hashirama believed this was an unprecedented opportunity.

Of course, it all hinged on defeating Gensou.

Tobirama glanced at his brother, who was full of optimism, and said nothing. Instead, he turned to Minato and remarked:

"It's time to act, Fourth Hokage."

Minato nodded. "Understood."

In an instant, Minato disappeared.

When he reappeared, he was beside Ōnoki. Bowing respectfully, he said,

"Tsuchikage-sama, please have the participating shinobi hold hands."

Understanding Minato's intention, Ōnoki quickly issued orders.

In no time, groups of Iwa-nin were teleported by Minato's Flying Thunder God Technique to the God Tree's remains, where parts of the Allied Forces were already stationed.

The same was happening in Konoha.

In a short span of time, Minato and Tobirama teleported the Iwa and Konoha forces to the God Tree's remains. They then moved on to the forces from Kiri, Kumo, and Suna.

Had they been alive, they wouldn't have been able to accomplish this due to chakra depletion.

But as Edo Tensei resurrected shinobi, they could act swiftly without worry of running out of chakra.

All the participating forces of the Allied Shinobi Army, including the resurrected strong, were transported to the God Tree's remains.

Under the command of Tsunade, Ōnoki, A, and other experienced veterans, the army was quickly organized and positioned.

At the God Tree's Remains

Cold winds howled as the barren landscape became host to tens of thousands of shinobi and the samurai of the Land of Iron, who had also joined the Allied Shinobi Forces.

The frigid killing intent permeated the area, driving all wildlife away.

Now, only humans remained.

The Allied Shinobi Forces, having arrived earlier than Gensou's forces, reorganized their ranks and waited for the battle to begin.

They didn't have to wait long.

Yamanaka Inoichi, the head of the Intelligence Division, wore a sensory enhancement helmet. His expression suddenly tensed as he announced:

"The First Interception Unit has reported! The enemy has arrived and is engaging!"

"What's their number? What are their identities?" Tsunade asked, her tone sharp as she stepped forward.

Inoichi's face showed a mix of surprise and hesitation before he answered truthfully:

"The enemy consists of one person. Identity: Gensou!"

"One person?"

"Gensou?"

In the command post, Tsunade, Ōnoki, A, Hashirama, Tobirama, and the others were all stunned.

First Interception Unit

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Despite the presence of ten thousand shinobi, the battlefield was eerily silent. Only the sound of a single man's footsteps echoed in the air, resonating in the ears of every ninja.

Though his steps were light, they sounded like war drums, pounding against the hearts of all present.

Gulp.

A Suna-nin in the front row swallowed nervously as he stared at the approaching figure.

He wasn't alone.

The same anxious gulping could be heard from others in the same row.

Not just that—hands trembled, faces turned pale, sweat dripped, and some even involuntarily stepped back.

It was as if they were facing an army of ten thousand while being just one.

The weight of Gensou's name and legend crushed their spirits.

In the past, when people heard of those who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the gods or the Five Kage of old, they dismissed the stories as exaggerations.

Now, the man known as Gensou had proven to them the truth of those tales.

A man who had truly stepped out of the Warring States Era.

Clad in silver armor reminiscent of the Warring States period, with the crescent-moon crest of the Hagoromo Clan on his shoulders, Gensou, with his black hair and eyes, walked calmly toward the Allied Forces.

The pressure he exuded was unbearable.

Some shinobi at the front couldn't withstand it and began retreating in fear.

Then, a Konoha ninja stepped forward, gripping a kunai with trembling hands. Locking eyes with the greatest threat the shinobi world had ever known, he shouted with all his might:

"He's just one man!!"

"For the village! For the village! Everyone, attack together!!!"
