I normally don’t like au fanfics, but you have shown me they can be good. Instead of a “I was met god”, “I know the plot”, or “I’m reincarnated in a background character” tropes, you simply added one character and created a new version of how the world changed from it. On top of that it’s done so masterfully that it doesn’t require changing the lore heavily or even the characters. It truly feels like by making that one simple change this world could’ve been. I tip my hat to you author, for you have shown me that in a pile of au fanfics there can be masterpieces. I am now inspired to try looking for more like this.
