Kroc looked down, the incline was a pure death trapped made by the hands off a devil, he wondered if they would make it back home...
Yob came over and looked down, he saw what his friend had noticed, it was a pure incline filled with sharp stones.
Yob spoke out informing his followers.
"We will have to take our time, one slip up and it will most like be fatal."
Kroc looked over and nodded, the other two kobalt's followed suit also nodding, nonverbally giving their approval.
And so the kobalt scouts started their trek down, making sure that they kept their feet stable, and that each step was firm.
As they climbed down Knox was finally notified, of their intrusion into his dungeon.
Knox was excited, and thought to himself
"It looks like our labor team will get to expand a bit".
———————————————————
Knox moved over to the goblin village first alerting them of their impending danger…
He spoke loudly using his dungeon god voice to instill the seriousness of the situation.
Knox spoke loudly shaking the icy floor, and immediately gaining the goblin's attention.
My children we have intruder's!!!
The goblin's were shocked, they looked around trying to see where they could be.
Knox continued, trying to ease some of the goblin's fears.
They haven't reached your floor yet, however we must act quickly to prevent any casualties.
Hibiscus looked worried as she knew the that the goblin's lives were in her hands.
She spoke up hoping to ask for assistance.
"My lord, can you please inform the kobalt's for us".
She continued shamefully, feeling inferior.
"We stand no chance against most races, and so I wish to ask for the kobalt's protection".
Knox thought for a moment and responded, this time inside of Hibiscus's head.
"Are you sure? They will surely require something in return."
Hibiscus knew that the risk was worth it, and that as long, as her people could survive, any thing would be acceptable.
And so Hibiscus screamed upwards, aiming her will towards the heavens!
Hibiscus responding to Knox's question.
"Yes my lord, although it feels infuriating bowing my head, I as their leader can not and will not allow my family to be annihilated!
Knox was impressed by her resolve, and decided that he would help her just this once.
Knox spoke to her mentally.
"Well how about this, your god if feeling quite amicable, and so I will have them to help you this time".
Knox continued this time using his dungeon voice.
I will send for reinforcements however do not be reliant on them.
For this shall only happen once, after it's over, you must strengthen yourselves.
All of the goblin's heard this, and many were feeling quite relieved.
They felt a sense of safety knowing that they would have help coming, and they knew kobalt's had much stronger bodies giving the goblin's a strong ally.
Hibiscus knelt she felt extremely grateful, she spoke gracefully.
"My lord, your kindness will not be forgotten".
Knox smiled, and thought.
"I hope the kobalt's will help them"…
Knoxdecided it was time to leave, and so he faded away, he silently appeared on floor two, he had to notify the kobalt's quickly!
———————————————————
Knox looked around and noticed he couldn't see any kobalt's?
He felt that it was quite strange, where had they scuffled off to?
Knox floated around until he realized something…
All of the kobalt's aside from sage and the workers had left, it seems that sage had locked the workers away in the "prison".
Sage wasn't watching them, as he had decided he would catch some fish, he was sitting on a grass mat, and occasionally he would dive into the pond.
Knox wondered to himself?
"Where have the others gone"?
Knox spoke out to sage using his dungeon god voice.
Sage where have the other kobalt kin gone, answer quickly time is of the essence.
Sage hearing this smiled and spoke quickly.
"Mmm im not to sure, my lord".
Maybe it was due to his lack of situational awareness, or maybe it is his lack of respect for Knox, but Sage decided to mess around"!
Knox was immediately enraged, and willed his voice into Sage's mind, he yelled at him.
"I wont repeat myself again where, are the others boy"!?
As he spoke knox used around 100 mana, he wanted to show Sage that now was no time for jokes".
Sage immediately knelt down feeling fear at his masters question.
knox had made sure to imbue his thoughts, with mana strong enough to incapacitate sage.
Sage was breathing difficultly, he struggled with adjusting to the intense pressure change, he slowly responded".
Sage weakly began to respond.
"Master huh hu, please give me a moment".
Sage took a few seconds catching his breath and then he stood on one knee, and answered Knox.
Sage spoke softly but quickly, hoping to diffuse the situation.
"They have gone to check on the Goblins, they are swimming down through pond, into floor one, why do you ask"?
Knox was suprised, it seems that he wouldn't have to inform the kobalt's, they will find out themselves…
Knox responded to Sage.
"Well it seems we have some intruder's, however you shouldn't worry, we far out number them".
Sage seemed relieved and so he went back to his "fishing", Knox watched for a moment before he headed back to floor one, he had a battle he didn't want to miss.
