Detective is under a lot of tension at home regarding how Eren died. Just then, Detective's daughter returns home after finishing her tuition. Detective is very happy to see her. Seeing his daughter, Detective forgets all his stress. After dinner with his daughter, Detective goes to sleep. However, he again starts remembering his old memories and begins thinking about Eren's case after waking up. But he can't understand anything. Then he starts recalling John's words. While thinking, he says, "How can I ignore this?" Basically, Detective Smith was talking about an entity related to his eldest daughter. Detective wonders if such things really exist. Around 5 AM, Detective leaves for his morning walk to clear his mind. On the way, he notices a strange girl. Detective ignores her and continues walking. When he looks back, the girl has disappeared. Detective is a bit surprised but finishes his morning walk and returns home. Detective prepares breakfast for his daughter. Smith affectionately tells his daughter, "Sweetheart, wake up quickly or you'll be late for school." His daughter replies, "Dad, today is Sunday." Smith laughs and says, "But isn't Sunday tomorrow?" Saying this, he gets his daughter ready for school, gives her breakfast, and sends her off. Then he goes to his work. Detective receives a call; a man on the phone is crying and says, "Sir, all the children in our school suddenly died." Detective is shocked to hear this and asks, "What are you saying, and who are you?" The man replies, "Sir, I am the principal of Oakwood High School. I don't know, sir, when our 10th-grade students came to school, everything was fine, but suddenly all the children have died." Upon hearing this, Detective rushes to Oakwood School. Upon arriving, Detective sees that the 10th-grade classroom is completely covered in blood, blood everywhere. Detective starts checking all the dead bodies and notices something and says, "Their condition is like Eren's, but in a better state than Eren." A teacher says, "This might be the work of terrorists." Ignoring her, Detective walks out. Seeing the condition of all of them, Detective starts crying and leaves from there. Detective starts thinking about what animal might have come here when suddenly two old men were talking beside him. Detective listens to their conversation. One old man says, "This might be the work of the urban legend Skinwalker." The other DMK agrees with him, saying, "Yes, it attacks humans by taking their form." Hearing their words, Detective says, "Skinwalker, I've heard about it too." After that, Detective goes home and starts researching about Skinwalker. Detective Smith begins to read about the encounter with Skinwalker. A Skinwalker is a figure from Navajo mythology and folklore, primarily known within the Navajo (Diné) culture in the southwestern United States. Here are some key aspects and characteristics associated with Skinwalkers: Nature and Abilities: Skinwalkers are believed to be witches or harmful sorcerers who have the ability to shape-shift into animals. They can take on the form of various creatures, such as coyotes, wolves, bears, or birds. Transformation: The process of becoming a Skinwalker involves wearing the skin or pelt of the animal they wish to transform into. This act allows them to assume the physical characteristics and abilities of that animal. Motivations: Skinwalkers are considered malevolent and often use their powers to inflict harm or cause mischief. They may terrorize communities, steal livestock, or even cause illness or death to individuals. Taboos and Powers: Becoming a Skinwalker is said to involve breaking cultural taboos and engaging in forbidden practices, such as murder or necrophilia. This path grants them supernatural powers but at a great personal cost. Detection: It is believed that Skinwalkers can be identified by their eyes, which retain a glow or reflection even in animal form. They are also said to have unnatural abilities, such as speed and agility, that surpass those of ordinary animals. Cultural Significance: Within Navajo culture, the concept of Skinwalkers is often regarded with fear and respect. Stories and beliefs surrounding them serve to enforce cultural norms and boundaries, as well as to explain mysterious or harmful occurrences within the community. While researching, Detective gets tired and goes outside for some fresh air. Detective sees some boys going somewhere with fresh meat. Detective notices that the boys were wearing Oakwood school uniforms. Detective thinks, "Such a dangerous thing happened in their school and they are taking meat." After that, Detective goes to pick up his daughter from school and notices the same girl he met in the morning. Detective and his daughter come home safely, and Detective notices something on the way. He senses that someone is following him. Detective and his daughter safely arrive home. Smith's daughter's name is Sofia. Around midnight, Detective starts researching about urban legends when he senses someone is at his house. Detective immediately goes to Sofia's room and is shocked to see the same girl (whom he met in the morning) holding Sofia and crying. Detective is frightened and tries to save his daughter, but the girl was not normal, she was something else. The girl attacks Smith and injures him. Then she runs away with Sofia.
