Xu Ye Injured

Currently Li Tian was flying towards the Frostwood Forest which was near the Ice Palace at his full pace in order to reach before Xu Ye to complete his plans.

Yes he had decided that he will take her as his second woman as she may be the reason behind Li Tian's heart demon and which also contributed to his downfall. Thus to avid taking any risks he decided to subdue the problem from its source.

He has been keeping information about all the changes or something different happening in the cultivation world. He was doing this because he wanted to keep a check about the protagonist current status. But thanks to the previous life memories now he could tell that Yang Min was a mortal at start but suddenly gained cultivation roots and a divine talent which later led to him becoming the next sect master of Heavenly Immortal Sect.

Till now there has been no news about coming of a mortal to any sect so he was sure that he still had some time before Yang Min came here before that he wanted to destroy and steal as many things as he can from him before his arrival. Soon he reached the forest and called upon the informants group.

"Your task is to lure the Adult ice fox towards Xu Ye when she is searching for the cubs and after you lure them leave the place and flee as far as you can" said Li Tian.

"Yes young master we will do as you say and will lure the ice fox towards the place" said the leader. Li Tian also handed one token to him "Here take this this will allow you to converse with me and through this I will tell you the location of Xu Ye and when to start luring the ice fox"

The group left the place and went towards the Ice fox base while totally concealing themselves. Right now they were more conscious about their presence because unlike human these beasts live in forest and have higher tendency to notice changes in their surroundings.

"Well now I have to wait for this woman to enter this forest and once she comes in then my plan would be completed" said Li Tian.

He had been waiting in the same place for about 2 days and still no sign of Xu Ye entering but then his divine sense caught on to a woman in expensive clothing entering the forest from the back door of Ice Palace and after concentrating his sense upon her he could tell that she was The Saintess of Ice Palace Xu Ye.

 Her physical features are described with delicate, porcelain-like skin that glows softly under the moonlight, complemented by a slender figure that moves with the grace of flowing water. Her eyes, akin to pools of icy blue, hold a depth that seems to reflect the wisdom of centuries spent mastering the profound arts of cultivation.

"You may lure the beast towards the south exit of Ice palace and in between you will find her remember after luring you shouldnt be detected by anybody and should hide" said Li Tian while transmitting his voice in the token.

After hearing the command all the informants started their action and attacked the Ice Fox (which was a female) although not causing any injury as they just needed to lure this beast towards south direction so they started running and when the ice fox saw this scene she started chasing them in order to fight as she could tell that her cubs were also in that direction and she didnt want them to die in these cultivators hand.

Due to maternal feelings she lost her calm and her rational mind became irrational as normally she could tell at a glance that this was something like a trap but now she couldnt so she just chased them and soon she was unable to detect their presence and took a breath of relief as she could tell that they left the forest.

Just when the beast was about to go back she saw blue blood near the ground and soon the air surrounding the area started to lower in temperature and water started transforming into ice as the beast was angry because blue blood was a species trait of Ice fox and unlike others their blood was blue.

She followed the tracks of the blood and soon saw the one human who had several ice essence which were extracted from the bodies of her cubs. The beast instinctively roared and Xu Ye froze after hearing the roar as it felt more like a cry from the heart.

Xu Ye paled after seeing the adult beasts because up until now she has always been cautious to not attract the adult beast but now she had her luck to blame as she met this beast. She could tell than this beast was in nascent soul realm whereas she was only a 2nd stage core formation realm cultivator.

She immediately used her Ice Blades towards the face of the beast and as soon as those blade hit she made a run towards the south gate as she couldnt hope to defeat this thing. and because she usually came here to train so she also didnt bring the guardian allotted to her by the master.

Soon she fell as the beast was unfazed after getting hit in the face and when saw that the human was running used an attack Ice piercing arrow or to be accurate it looked like that but was far more powerful than normal. The arrows hit the back of Xu Ye and she fell while bleeding she could tell that her ice ability coudnt handle this amount of coldness right now as her ice ability was running amok.

She felt despair right now as she could tell that her ice ability wont work against this beasts and she knew she will die right now as she cant do anything now and even her legs gave out and she was also bleeding all over body.

This was the first time she felt this helpless as since her birth she was always protected and had never faced much difficulty everything she wanted she got it with her own strength as she was naturally gifted in cultivation but right now she had nothing working in her favor.
