I did it granny

Eva walked into her grandmother's house, beaming with excitement. "Grandma I did it, I got accepted into the school!" she announced, hardly able to contain her joy.

Her grandmother's face lit up with a warm smile. "Oh, Eva, I'm so proud of you!" she exclaimed, tears of happiness welling up in her eyes. "Your parents would have been so proud of you too, if they were here."

Eva's grandmother began to sob, remembering her daughter and son-in-law who had passed away when Eva was just a child. Eva rushed to comfort her, hugging her tightly.

"Don't cry, Grandma," Eva said softly. "They're watching over us from wherever they are, and they're happy for me too. They want me to be happy and successful, just like you do."

Her grandmother nodded, wiping away her tears. "You're right, Eva. They would have wanted you to be happy and successful. I'm just so grateful to have you in my life. You're all I have left of them, and I'm so proud of the person you're becoming."

Eva smiled, feeling a sense of love and gratitude towards her grandmother. "I'm grateful for you too, Grandma. You've always been there for me, supporting me and encouraging me. I don't know what I would do without you."

Her grandmother smiled back, patting Eva's hand. "You'll never have to find out, dear. I'll always be here for you, no matter what. Now, go and freshen up. I'll make you a special dinner to celebrate your acceptance."

Eva nodded, feeling happy and content. She went to her room, washed her face, and changed into comfortable clothes. When she came back downstairs, her grandmother had prepared a delicious meal of Eva's favorite dishes - roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans.

Eva ate with relish, savoring every bite. She felt grateful for her grandmother's love and support, and she knew that she couldn't have done it without her.

Eva's grandmother noticed that she seemed a bit down after dinner. "Hey, Eva, what's wrong?" she asked, concern etched on her face.

Eva sighed. "It's just that my friends, Daniel and Ruth, didn't get accepted into the school," she said, feeling a pang of sadness. "I'm going to miss them so much, and I feel bad that I got in and they didn't. We've been friends for so long, and I can't imagine going to school without them."

Her grandmother nodded understandingly. "I know it's tough, Eva. But everyone has their own destiny. Just because your friends didn't get accepted into this school doesn't mean they won't find their own path to success. And it doesn't mean you won't stay friends with them either. You can still keep in touch and support each other from afar."

Eva looked up at her grandmother, feeling a bit better. "You're right, Grandma. I just wish they could be there with me. We've been through so much together, and I feel like a part of me is missing without them."

Her grandmother smiled. "I know, dear. But you'll make new friends at school, and you'll always have Daniel and Ruth in your heart. And who knows, maybe they'll find their own way to the same school someday. Or maybe they'll find an even better opportunity that's perfect for them. You never know what the future holds."

Eva nodded, feeling a sense of peace washing over her. She knew her grandmother was right. Everyone had their own journey to follow, and she couldn't compare her path to anyone elses.

"Thanks, Grandma," Eva said, hugging her tightly. "You always know just what to say to make me feel better. I'm so lucky to have you in my life."

Her grandmother hugged her back. "I'm lucky to have you too, Eva. You're an amazing young woman, and I know you're going to do great things. Just remember to always be true to yourself and follow your heart. And never forget that I'm always here for you, no matter what."

Eva retired to her room, feeling full and content. As she lay down on her bed, she couldn't help but think about her new school and her friends. She felt a pang of sadness, knowing that she would miss them dearly. She would miss Daniel's jokes and Ruth's laughter.

But she also knew that she had to move forward, and that this was an opportunity she couldn't miss. She thought about all the new experiences she would have, the new friends she would make, and the things she would learn. She thought about the challenges she would face, and how she would overcome them.

As she drifted off to sleep, Eva smiled to herself, feeling excited and hopeful about the future. She knew that it wouldn't be easy, but she was ready for whatever lay

ahead. She was ready to take on the world, one step at a time.
