7. Get Rid of Her!

Tristan has started to get used to his routine as a king and has become Tristan Madigan who is firm and has an expressionless face.

It didn't feel like Tristan had been on this planet for a week. Today marks the sixth day since becoming the king of Madigan and the other five kingdoms.

Tristan never forgot the system's answers, which stated that the purpose of him inhabiting Tristan Madigan's body was to become the king according to the system's wishes.

However, strangely, the system had not given Tristan the third task yet. Tristan thought he would get a task every day, but it turned out his estimate was wrong.

Because he had not yet received the third task and so on, Tristan carried out his obligations as king, and he didn't divert his attention from Carlos Madigan.

His second task lasted until Carlos Madigan died. Tristan will die if Carlos Madigan suddenly recovers from this mysterious disease, for which no cure has been found.

Even though Tristan came from a modern world where a cure has been found for almost all diseases, Tristan was sure that Carlos Madigan was completely paralyzed.

He believed in his assumption even more after he found out why Carlos Madigan couldn't move his body. Carlos Madigan fell from his horse and hit his back on a log while he was hunting.

"We have asked all the physicians in the world to create medicine that can cure Mr. Madigan," said the health minister.

As the person appointed by Carlos Madigan to pay attention to the world of health, he was also busy thinking about a drug to cure Carlos Madigan.

Tristan looked at the elderly man, who was the same age as the prime minister. He was honestly bored with seeing the faces of the ministers, some of whom were over 50 years old.

Tristan should replace all the ministers. They have held their posts for far too long.

He wanted young men and women to become ministers during his reign of power, but Carlos Madigan made no mention of it, and Tristan was also afraid to do so because he was unfamiliar with the qualifications for becoming a minister.

If the system gave him such a task, Tristan would do it very well. If possible, he also wanted to change the prime minister.

"Okay, good job." Tristan had almost forgotten about the health minister.

"I hope a medicine that can cure my dad can be found soon." Tristan lied.

In the deepest corner of his heart, he didn't want that to happen. His head was increasingly busy thinking about what he should do, so Carlos Madigan never took medicine from a court physician or other physicians.

No one should know that Tristan really hoped Carlos Madigan would stay like that until he died.

Complete paralysis cannot be cured," Tristan muttered. In his previous life, he had never met or heard of someone recovering from complete paralysis.

"Your Majesty." A woman with white hair and wearing a yellow dress walked quickly towards Tristan, who was daydreaming in the burning garden on the day of his coronation, and the gardeners were struggling to make the garden as beautiful as before.

"Nice to meet you, Your Majesty." The woman lifted her dress slightly and bowed to Tristan.

"Nice to meet you, eh?" Tristan never saw the woman. He dug into Tristan Madigan's memory, but he didn't find the woman. Tristan Madigan didn't even know the beautiful woman.

Her white hair was shining. It wasn't white hair to show that she was old. She didn't have any wrinkles on her face at all.

Her white hair also matches her milky white skin. The woman was so beautiful, like a Barbie doll, and was almost the same height as Tristan, maybe because she was wearing high heels.

Tristan should have fallen in love at first sight with that woman, but why wasn't his heart beating faster? He swears that he likes women.

Ah, Tristan was so bizarre. Even if a lady is incredibly gorgeous, attractive, or has a sensual body, she will not always make a man's heart race.

Tristan suspected that the woman who suddenly approached him and greeted him was the same age as Tristan Madigan.

"I am Jane Warlock, Your Majesty. I'm sorry I didn't come to your coronation, but I'm very grateful that you're okay after falling from the second floor," Jane said with a big smile. She didn't appear to be making fun of Tristan Madigan.

"I'm sorry, but I've never seen you before." Tristan couldn't mince his words. Even though his words had hurt Jane, he preferred to tell the truth.

"I expected you to forget me," said Jane, waving her hand.

"You honestly didn't invite me to your coronation ceremony." Jane spoke quietly with her purple eyes looking right and left, making sure none of the knights heard her.

Tristan was stunned when he realized the woman had purple eyes. The woman wearing a yellow dress standing in front of him had hair and eye colors that were different from everyone else.

"Then why are you sorry you can't come to my coronation?" Tristan asked.

That woman was suspicious.

Tristan had to be calm.

"I saw the invitation paper you gave to the Samosa King. Then I made the invitation paper for myself. I'm thankful the soldiers at the gate didn't suspect anything." Jane said proudly.

"Okay." Tristan nodded with a confused face. He wanted to see the invitation paper made by Jane. "What brings you here?"

"Ah, I forgot you had forgotten me." Jane grinned broadly. "Two years ago, we met at the port; at that time, you were looking for someone who could cure your father."

Tristan froze. He didn't know whether Jane was lying or telling the truth because there was no Jane in Tristan Madigan's memory.

Was it because they only met once, and at that time, Tristan Madigan met many people, including those who were good at making medicine?

"I heard that Mr. Madigan is still not cured. I came here because I accepted your offer to work to care for your father while looking for a cure for him." Jane handed Tristan a piece of paper. Surprisingly, Jane appeared in Tristan Madigan's memories.

Tristan read the piece of paper. He couldn't pretend to accept Jane because the woman was a witch.

There were few witches on this planet, and those who remained alive were witches who had mastered all the magical spells and were over 400 years old.

There's a strong chance Jane will find a cure for Carlos Madigan!

[The third task has come.]

[You must remove Jane from your life.]

[If you fail, you will die.]

The system had threatened to kill Tristan twice.
