Jiang Yue rushed into the toilet in tears. She has been in trouble ever since she resumed Second High School. She was punished on her first day and now her uniform is ruined. How would she tell her poor mother she ruined her uniform?
Jiang Yue tried to wash off the paint but it kept spreading.
When the bell rang, she decided to go meet Kang Jian. He was an athlete so he would definitely have spare clothes.
"What? What happened to you?" Kang Jian asked, his face masked with concern.
"Nothing. Do you have some spare clothes?" Jiang Yue asked, her face down as she tried her best to keep the tears in her eyes from bursting out.
Kang Jian gave her some clothes to wear.
"What happened to you? You left me when we got to school? When did this happen?" Kang Jian asked but Jiang Yue didn't give any answer to his questions. She just walked away.
Jiang Yue walked back to class after changing, her heart still racing from the confrontation with Su Ye. She tried to focus on the lesson, but her mind kept wandering back to their argument.
Just as she was starting to calm down, she heard a snicker from behind her. She turned back only to see Su Yu, Su Ye's best friend Yi Sang, grinning at her.
"Hey, Jiang Yue, what's wrong?" Su Yu taunted. "Looks like someone's got a case of the Mondays."
Jiang Yue rolled her eyes, trying to ignore him. But Su Yu wouldn't give up.
"Hey, Jiang Yue, why so serious? Did someone forget to put on their happy face today?"
The class started to snicker, and Jiang Yue's face grew hot with embarrassment. She tried to focus on the lesson, but Su Yu's teasing made it impossible.
He kept whispering snide comments and making funny faces at her, trying to get a rise out of her.
The teacher, Mrs. Li, began to write on the board, but Jiang Yue couldn't concentrate. Su Yu's constant taunting was like a buzzing in her ear, distracting her from the lesson.
"Hey, Jiang Yue, why are you so quiet? Cat got your tongue?" Su Yu whispered, making his friends snicker.
Jiang Yue tried to ignore him, but it was hard. She felt her face growing hotter by the minute, and her frustration was building up.
Just as Mrs. Li was about to give them an assignment, Su Yu knocked over Jiang Yue's pencil case, spilling its contents all over the floor.
"Oops, clumsy me!" Su Yu said, grinning at Jiang Yue.
Jiang Yue's eyes narrowed, her patience wearing thin.
Jiang Yue's eyes flashed with anger, but she took a deep breath and tried to calm down. She didn't want to give Su Yu the satisfaction of getting her to yell in the class.
She bent down to pick up her pencils, her hands shaking slightly with frustration. As she straightened up, she caught Su Yu's gaze and held it for a moment, her eyes flashing a warning.
But Su Yu just chuckled and turned back to his friends, whispering something that made them snicker.
Jiang Yue felt her face grow hot with embarrassment and anger. She tried to focus on the lesson, but her mind was racing with thoughts of how to get back at Su Yu.
Just then, Mrs. Li assigned a group project, and Jiang Yue found herself paired with none other than Su Yu and his friends.
Her heart sank as Su Yu grinned at her, his eyes gleaming with mischief. She knew she was in for a long and difficult project.
"Excuse me ma. Can I be paired with someone else? I and Kang Jian are neighbors so it would be easy to complete the project on time." Jiang Yue asked.
"There's no need. I'll come over to your house. That's how dedicated I am to the project." Su Ye smirked.
"That's it. Problem solved." Mrs. Li said.
Finally, the class ended, and Jiang Yue gathered her things, her anger and frustration simmering just below the surface. As she walked out of the classroom, Su Yu called out to her, "Hey, Jiang Yue, don't forget to smile!"
That was the final straw. Jiang Yue spun around, her eyes blazing. "Su Yu, you're going to regret messing with me. I'm going straight to the principal's office to report you!"
Su Yu's grin faltered for a moment, but then he sneered. "Go ahead, tattletale. No one will believe you."
Jiang Yue's eyes narrowed. "We'll see about that. You're not the only one with friends in high places, Su Yu." Jiang Yue threatened.
With that, she turned on her heel and stormed out of the classroom, leaving Su Yu and his friends snickering behind her. But Jiang Yue was determined to put an end to Su Yu's bullying once and for all.
As she walked down the hallway, she felt a sense of determination over her. She was not going to let Su Yu get away with his cruel behavior anymore. He has to be punished for all of his actions.
Jiang Yue marched down the hallway, her determination to report Su Yu growing with every step. But just as she reached the principal's office, she heard footsteps behind her.
"Jiang Yue, wait!" Su Yu called out, his voice mocking.
She turned to see Su Yu running towards her, a smirk on his face. He caught up to her just as she was about to open the door to the principal's office.
"Hey, don't be so hasty," Su Yu said, his hand on her arm. "Let's talk this out."
Jiang Yue shook off his hand, her eyes flashing with anger. "There's nothing to talk about, Su Yu. You've gone too far this time."
Su Yu's grin grew wider. "Oh, come on. I was just having a little fun. Don't be so sensitive."
Jiang Yue's eyes narrowed. "You call bullying and harassment 'fun'? You're sick, Su Yu."
Su Yu's face darkened, his eyes glinting with anger. "Please! Jiang Yue please! Don't go to the principal's office. I'm begging you." Su Ye mocked.
"Get out! I'm going to report everything you've done. From breaking two school rules to going to the arcade." Jiang Yue yelled.
"Please do!" Su Ye chuckled.
With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Jiang Yue seething with frustration and anger. She was more determined than ever to report him, but now she was also wary of what he might do next.
