Chapter 7

Jiang Yue knocked on the door but she got no response.

"Good afternoon sir." She greeted. She got no response either.

She knocked again and decided to push the door open but the principal was not on seat.

No wonder Su Ye wasn't bothered.

She went back to class.

Jiang Yue walked back to class, her frustration and anger simmering just below the surface. She had been so sure that she could finally report Su Yu and put an end to his bullying, but now it seemed like even the principal was unavailable to help her.

As she entered the classroom, Su Ye looked up from his seat, a smirk on his face. "Well, well, well. Look who's back? Did the principal's office not welcome you with open arms, Jiang Yue?"

Jiang Yue's eyes narrowed, her face hot with embarrassment. "Shut up, Su Ye."

But Su Ye wouldn't let up. "Oh, I'm sure it's not because you're a tattletale and no one wants to listen to you. Nope, that can't be it."

The class snickered, and Jiang Yue's face grew even hotter. She knew Su Ye was trying to get a rise out of her, but she refused to give him the satisfaction.

"Su Ye, I don't need to talk to a spoiled brat like you. It's obvious you're an attention seeker." Jiang Yue spat, her voice low. "You all are bullies and cowards." She said as she turned to face the whole classroom.

Su Ye's smirk faltered for a moment, but then he regained his composure. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots, Jiang Yue. You're so brave, hiding behind your big words and your failed attempts to report me."

The class laughed again, and Jiang Yue felt her anger boiling over. She knew she had to keep her cool, but it was getting harder and harder to ignore Su Ye's taunts.

Jiang Yue's anger finally boiled over. "You're a pathetic excuse for a human being, Su Ye!" she spat, her voice loud enough for the whole class to hear. "And you are a bully! You are a worthless piece of shit!"

The class gasped, and Su Ye's face turned red with anger. "How dare you!" He shouted, standing up.

Jiang Yue didn't hesitate. She gathered her things and stormed out of the classroom, leaving Su Ye and the rest of the class staring after her.

As she walked down the hallway, Jiang Yue felt a mix of emotions: anger, frustration, and a sense of helplessness. She knew she had let Su Ye get under her skin, but she couldn't help it.

She walked to the school courtyard and sat down on a bench, trying to calm down. She knew she had to come up with a new plan to deal with Su Ye but for now, she just needed a few moments to herself.

As she sat there, she felt a hand on her shoulder. It was her friend, Kang Jina. "Hey, Jiang Yue, what's going on?" Kang asked concern etched on his face.

Jiang Yue sighed. "It's just Su Ye. He is driving me crazy."

Kang nodded. "We'll figure something out. We always do."

Jiang Yue smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her friend. Together, they would come up with a plan to take down Su Ye once and for all.

Just as Jiang Yue was about to head back to class with Kang, the bell rang, signaling the end of the period.

"I have to go now. I'll talk to you again after class." Kang Jian said, running off. As Jiang Yue walked down the hallway, Jiang Yue noticed Bao Zhan approaching her.

"Jiang Yue, What is wrong with you?" Bao Zhan asked, her voice serious.

Jiang Yue raised her brows, wondering what this was about. "Nothing is wrong with me. I'm fine."

Bao Zhan glanced around nervously before leaning in close. "I know what you're trying to do to Jiang Yue and you're failing miserably."

Jiang Yue's eyes widened in surprise. "What are you talking about?"

Bao Zhan's expression was grave. "I've seen the way you look at Su Ye, Jiang Yue. I know you're trying to seduce him. Su Ye belongs to only one person and that's me, Bao Zhan. So leave him alone."

Jiang Yue's mind raced as she processed Bao Zhan's words. She had never considered seducing Su Ye. The thought of it made her gag.

"You seriously think I'll seduce Su Ye. Of all the guys in our school, it's Su Ye you think I'll seduce." Jiang Yue laughed."

"What's funny? Do you think I'm joking? The next time I see you with Su Ye I'll deal with you mercilessly." Bao Zhan threatened as she pointed her index finger to Jiang Yue.

"What's your grade?" Jiang Yue asked.

"What's your business with my grade?" Bao Zhan stood her ground.

"I need to know your grade. No girl in her right sense of mind would like Su Ye and would go as far as threatening another girl. Don't you have a life? Your parent's money to waste? Can't you go play princess at home?" Jiang Yue mocked.

Bao Zhan grabbed her collar and the bell rang distracting her from carrying out her plan.

"This would be my final warning, Jiang Yue." Bao Zhan left with her cohorts.

Bao Zhan's warning had left Jiang Yue thoughtful, and she lingered in the hallway, lost in her own thoughts. She didn't notice the time passing until she heard the sound of the classroom door closing. She was already frustrated at this moment.

"Oh no, I'm going to be late!" she exclaimed, realizing she had missed the start of class.

She quickly turned to rush to class, but it was too late. The hallway was empty, and the teacher had already closed the door.

Just then, a stern voice called out from behind her. "Jiang Yue, what are you doing out here? You're supposed to be in class!"

Jiang Yue turned to see the school's discipline officer, Mr. Wang, approaching her with a stern expression.

"I was just... uh... talking to Bao Zhan," Jiang Yue stammered.

Mr. Wang raised an eyebrow. "During class time? That's loitering, Jiang Yue. You know the rules. Here's a ticket for you."

He handed her a pink slip, and Jiang Yue felt her heart sink. A loitering ticket meant detention, and her mom would not be happy.

It hasn't been a week yet and she has gotten into lots of trouble.

"Thanks, Mr. Wang," Jiang Yue said sarcastically, taking the ticket.

Mr. Wang's expression didn't change. "No talking back, Jiang Yue. Just get to class and don't let it happen again."

Jiang Yue sighed and trudged to class, feeling frustrated and annoyed. She couldn't believe Bao Zhan had caused her to get in trouble.

Jiang Yue walked into the classroom, her face twisted in frustration. She couldn't believe she had gotten a loitering ticket thanks to Bao Zhan for keeping her late in the hallway. As she made her way to her seat, she noticed Su Ye grinning at her, clearly waiting for an opportunity to pounce.

She turned to look at Kang Jian who mouthed. "What happened?"

She closed her eyes as she shook her head negatively.

"Looks like someone's in trouble," Su Ye said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "What's the matter, Jiang Yue? Can't even follow the rules?"

Jiang Yue rolled her eyes and dropped into her seat, trying to ignore Su Ye's taunts. But Su Ye wouldn't let up.

"Hey, teacher, Jiang Yue got a loitering ticket!" Su Ye called out, his voice loud enough for the whole class to hear.

The teacher looked up from her notes, a questioning glance at Jiang Yue. "Is that true, Jiang Yue?"

Jiang Yue nodded, her face burning with embarrassment. "Yes, it's true."

Su Ye snickered, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "Looks like someone's not as perfect as they thought they were."

Jiang Yue's frustration boiled over, and she shot Su Ye a fierce glance. "Shut up, Su Ye. You're just a stupid bully, you scoundrel."

The class gasped, and Su Ye's face turned red with anger. "How dare you! How dare you call me a scoundrel you destitute." He stood up as he shouted. Jiang Yue stood up to face him but the teacher intervened before things could escalate further.

"That's enough, Su Ye. Jiang Yue, please stay after class to discuss your loitering ticket. And Su Ye, please refrain from provoking your classmates."
