"What is that thing?"
Roger's complexion changed drastically, his chest heaving with agitation. Although the thing hadn't hit him directly, the sheer force of the air pressure had sent him flying.
Without any hesitation, Roger turned and ran in the direction he had come from.
Unknown danger was looming behind him, but even so, Roger didn't go at full speed; the mist had become even thicker, nearly obscuring his surroundings.
He advanced cautiously with his sword, fearful of some unknown monster lunging out from the fog.
Those few dozen meters passed by as he trembled with fear.
The visibility was so low that he almost missed Veronica's villa right in front of him.
Although unclear about what would happen if he died in this dream, Roger was certainly not keen to find out the easy way.
Once inside, he closed the door firmly and then quickly checked the other rooms, securing all doors and windows. Roger then made his way to a room on the third floor.
