Chapter 12: The Greek God of Oil
Whoosh—!
The strong wind arose as the Doomsday Beast's enormous claw descended.
"Scatter!" Dan Heng shouted.
Everyone immediately dodged, and the claw slammed into the platform's surface.
Boom—!
The thunderous sound felt like it would tear apart eardrums, with shockwaves spreading outward and causing the entire space station to tremble.
"Whoa… This is cheating! One hit from that would kill us!" March 7th barely managed to stand steady amidst the shaking, shouting indignantly.
"Don't worry, I'll give you a blessing." Gu Tang came to her side and attached a small mechanical device to her.

The strikes from Dan Heng's spear and Stelle's baseball bat shattered and destroyed the Doomsday Beast's metal shell, continually adding to its damage.
"Witness my power!" March 7th, full of momentum, drew an ice arrow from the decoration on her leg ring. She then jumped into the air, nocking the arrow to her bow.

The ice arrow split in midair, transforming into countless ice dolls that rained down upon the Doomsday Beast.
As the ice spread, the Doomsday Beast's injuries grew more severe. Though bound by ice, it was not so easily restrained.
The moment March 7th landed, the antimatter engine vibrated, and a scorching beam of light shot from the Doomsday Beast's head, tearing through the air toward her.
But March 7th remained unfazed.

The scorching beam could not penetrate her shield, which held firmly.
She confidently pointed her thumb at herself: "I'm invincible now, no attack can harm me."
"What a lame ultimate move." Gu Tang commented from behind her.

Dan Heng suddenly hurled his spear.
The spear flew like a dragon through the air, piercing the Doomsday Beast's chest.
Stelle immediately rushed forward, leaping and gripping her bat with both hands, pounding the spear like a piling machine.

The drone hurled a circular saw, slicing through the Doomsday Beast's head, sparking fiercely, and stripping away pieces of its metal shell.

The Doomsday Beast roared in pain.
It abandoned its focus on March 7th, turning its wrath towards Stelle.
"Not good! Stelle, watch out!" Dan Heng urgently warned.
The Doomsday Beast's change of target was abrupt, and Stelle seemed unable to react in time.
The massive claw aimed straight at her, as if intending to crush her into paste.
But Gu Tang was there to provide support.
He quickly threw something at Stelle.
"It must be a shield like March 7th's…" Stelle thought with a smile.
Despite the claw's menacing approach, she felt no fear.

A glass bottle shattered on Stelle, drenching her in oil.

The Doomsday Beast's claw gripped Stelle.

"Hmph… such interesting people…" Even in the dangerous battlefield, Himeko couldn't help but laugh.
She observed the Doomsday Beast's condition, opened her briefcase, and began inputting codes on her portable computer.
The Doomsday Beast shook its head, flapping its wings suddenly.
The violent gusts blew Dan Heng and the others away.
Then, its right claw clenched, energy surged, and it slammed down on March 7th.
"Hmph, bring it on." March 7th stood her ground with hands on hips, exuding an air of invincibility.
And then, at the critical moment, her shield flickered twice and went out.
March 7th blinked: "Uh-oh."

The gigantic fist was already upon her, the wind pressure lifting her clothes and hair before the blow even landed.
At the last moment, Gu Tang rushed in front of March 7th.
"In times like this, rely on my emergency defense device." Gu Tang activated the device.
A blue glow enveloped him.

A thunderous crash, like a lightning bolt striking the ground.
The air split apart, the shockwave rippling out, stirring up waves of wind, everything around trembling in response.
March 7th raised her arms, shielding herself.

The Doomsday Beast's massive fist was stopped by Gu Tang's single hand. Though the ground beneath cracked and caved, his body remained unmoved.
"Amazing! You blocked such a powerful attack, as expected of your invention!" March 7th exclaimed excitedly.

The Doomsday Beast's massive body was thrown back, as if struck by a meteor, rolling and tumbling away from the space station.
But for the Doomsday Beast, this was an opportunity.
Not through physical combat, but through the antimatter engine's energy, to incinerate them all.

With a low growl, the Doomsday Beast placed its claws beside the antimatter engine.
Terrifying energy surged out, being compressed, accumulated, and further compressed.
The entire space shivered under this destructive force, the pressure and sense of danger peaking, causing everyone to feel a tightness in their chests.
"This doesn't look good, it's charging a big attack." March 7th tried shooting several arrows.
But the arrows disintegrated before reaching the Doomsday Beast, consumed by the energy from the antimatter engine.
"No, this is perfect." Dan Heng observed the Doomsday Beast accumulating energy midair, "Some attacks can't be used within the space station, but now we can."
