Chapter 4 Are You Going to the Han Family's Place, Too?

"Gu Xin, ah—" she exclaimed.

Maybe realizing her voice was too loud, she quickly covered her mouth subconsciously.

But after Chu Yi pressed down so hard, the pain was gone, and now the foot that had been twisted felt much looser and more flexible.

Could it be that this kid really learned this somewhere? It was almost magical.

Although she was aware that she had lost her composure earlier, during the foot massage, Chu Yi's gaze remained firmly on the pressure points and didn't wander.

Just for that, Gu Xin didn't find it too hard to like him.

"All right, make sure to rest well after you get back, and don't do any intense exercise for the next week," Chu Yi instructed.

Gu Xin slowly lowered her foot and could clearly feel it was much more comfortable than before.

The two girls standing beside them looked at Chu Yi with admiration, but then their gazes shifted to Gu Xin with meaningful stares, as if they were in on some secret.

Chu Yi stood up with natural ease, looking proudly at the two girls, "How about it? Am I not very impressive?"

The two girls, along with the other spectators, all gave him thumbs up and looked at him with approval.

"To the young man who just stepped in to help and the lady who got robbed, come, please come to the car to give a statement," the train police officer said, approaching Chu Yi and Gu Xin.

Then Chu Yi helped her make a witness statement.

Gradually, Gu Xin also felt that this Chu Yi maybe wasn't as sleazy as she had initially thought, and after they completed the statement, they even chatted sporadically.

Time always flies quickly; in the blink of an eye, Binhai station had arrived, and it was already early morning.

Gu Xin and Chu Yi got off the train together.

In order to express her gratitude, Gu Xin took the initiative to pull out her phone, "This is my phone number. It's probably your first time in Binhai, right? If you need any help, feel free to call me."

While Chu Yi was playfully saying thanks, he pulled out his bulky old cell phone.

"No way, you're still using this kind of phone?" Gu Xin asked in surprise.

She couldn't believe that in the 21st century, there was still someone using such an outdated phone; it was like they weren't living on the same planet.

Chu Yi scratched his head awkwardly, almost looking like he wanted to dig a hole in the ground with his toes.

It was because his master had always adhered to the idea that "boys should be raised frugally" that while his senior sisters were getting new phones one after another, he had to make do with their hand-me-downs.

"By the way, it's so late now, where are you staying tonight?" Gu Xin asked with concern.

"Hmm... I'll find a place to crash for the night, and when daylight comes, I'll go to Han Corporation," he replied.

Hearing that Chu Yi was going to Han Corporation, Gu Xin's eyes lit up. What? She hadn't heard wrong, had she? He was going to Han Corporation?

"You're going to Han Corporation? What for?" she asked.

Chu Yi scratched his head, "Nothing much, just looking around. I have a friend nearby, what's up?"

Gu Xin said excitedly, "I'm with Han Corporation!"

"Really? Isn't that quite a coincidence?"

"Yes, it's where I work. I had no idea you were going to visit," Gu Xin said with pride.

"So... what does Han Corporation do?" Chu Yi asked curiously, trying to get some information about Han Corporation from her.

"Han Corporation has a wide range of businesses: ocean trade, communications, and energy are all main areas for Han Corporation, and last year's profit alone reached over eight hundred billion. Impressive, isn't it?"

Gu Xin was brimming with pride.

"Impressive, impressive..." Chu Yi extended his thumb.

"So, can you guess what I do at Han Corporation?" Gu Xin tilted her small face upwards, looking at him.

Chu Yi couldn't guess and shook his head.

"Do I look like I have the makings of a leader?" As she spoke, Gu Xin pulled out a business card from her pocket and handed it to him.

"Wow, a manager so young?" Chu Yi hadn't guessed that Gu Xin, who looked so gentle and fragile, would already be a department manager.

"What, don't look the part? Oh right, if you don't have a place to stay tonight, let me book a hotel for you. It's not right to make do outside in the dead of night, consider it a thank you from me."

Chu Yi smiled and scratched his head, agreeing.

Gu Xin helped him book a hotel online and casually hailed a taxi.

"Master, please take us to Meiju Hotel."

After dropping Chu Yi off at the hotel, Gu Xin finally felt relieved.

"So, how is it? The hotel's okay, right? If there's nothing else, I'll be off then."

Chu Yi was truly grateful but didn't know what to say. After thinking for a long time, the only words that came to his lips were "Thank you."

Gu Xin hurried downstairs, planning to hail a cab with her phone, but at that moment, she realized her phone was missing.

She frantically searched in her pockets but found nothing...

It must be left in Chu Yi's room! Gu Xin slapped her forehead as she suddenly remembered.

She then hurried back to the hotel and when she arrived at the door of Chu Yi's room, she found it ajar, "Really, he doesn't even know how to shut his own door."

Chu Yi pushed open the door and entered the room.

But the scene in front of her completely stunned her.

Her phone... was in Chu Yi's hands!

"Hey! Give me the phone! Why are you looking at my phone?" Gu Xin was obviously very displeased.

Chu Yi, quite interested, stared intently at the screen, his grip on the phone tight.

"Give it here, quickly!" Gu Xin yelled.

"I'm done, I'm done, just about finished!" Chu Yi replied.

Gu Xin, seeing her own selfie on the screen, her face flushed red, the photo showing her wearing black and white stockings, a long-legged selfie.

"Quick, give me back my phone!" Gu Xin became anxious and went to snatch it.

"I'm done, I'm done, isn't it enough that I'm giving it back to you?" With that, Chu Yi finished browsing the last photo, apparently quite satisfied.

"Huh, men are all the same!" Gu Xin scoffed, her cheeks still burning hot.

"To be fair, the photos you took are quite good, and the angles you chose were very nice," Chu Yi seriously commented.

"What did you say?"

"What else can I say? Of course, about your photos. I'm saying they're shot from good angles. Look at this one." While speaking, Chu Yi moved closer to Gu Xin, the two barely 20 centimeters apart as he flipped to the picture to show her.

Suddenly at that moment, Gu Xin felt something brush against her lower abdomen. When she looked down, both their cheeks were flushing red.

"Uh... sorry." Chu Yi appeared somewhat embarrassed.
