26. High Speed Action

Road Burn races off towards the southern part of California where a freak lightning storm is occurring. He arrives at Venice Beach where the local residents are running away from a multiple number of lightning strikes coming from a huge dark cloud covering the entire area.

"This has Charger written all over it." Road Burn said to himself.

Not a moment later, from the distance did a red electrified object come crashing in the sand a short distance in front of Road Burn. He moves in closer and notices that the object is in fact, a boy. The boy has on a black long sleeve jacket that cuts just above his abdomen, a red shirt, black pants and dirty blonde hair.

"Jack." Road Burn

The boy slowly looks up as he heard his name.

"Well dam Sam... What took ya?" Charger said with a smile.

"I was... Knocked out for a while. What exactly is going on?" Road Burn

"Oh nothing really just, having a little pow wow with the spark brothers." Charger

Before more was said, two other young men appear with streaks of they're own and electricity surging around them.

"Nas and Torque. Can't you guys ever play nice?" Road Burn

"Whatchya talking about? We are having fun right Charger?" Torque asks with green electricity surging around him.

"Yeah. Some good ol fashion horse play." Charger said getting to his feet.

"See Road Burn? No harm no foul right?" Nas said with blue electricity surging around him.

"Yeah well none the less, I could use a little work out so let's get on with it." Road Burn said as a combination of yellow and black electricity start to surge around his body.

Once all was said the four of them race of with their own colored streaks behind of them in two pairs. Road Burn takes on Nas and Charger takes on Torque. As they race of against each other they simultaneously fight against one another while holding conversation.

"So, how long before your boss gets here?" Road Burn

"Who knows? He's probably still in his lab trying to figure out how he's going to be the fastest speedster alive or whatever." Nas

"So why aren't you in that very same lab working with him so that you can get faster to?" Road Burn

"Well I'm pretty sure he doesn't want our help on the account of him telling us to "Mind your own business and go have a speed battle or something" and well.. Here we are!" Nas

"Well that explains that I guess." Road Burn

"Hey Torque, how is it that without your fearless leader; who by the way named himself Light speed; it takes the two of you to literally light a spark in those little pea brains of yours?" Charger

"That mouth of yours is exactly why we were more than willing to use you as a punching bag!" Torque

"Well then its a good thing your bark is worse than your bite eh my sparkeled compadre?" Charger

With in less than a split second Charger and Road Burn were able to exchange gazes as if it were a signal given to each other. Torque swings a right arm, Charger grabs it and was able to fling Torque into the air using his own momentum against him.

"Been a while since we did this!" Charger

Road Burn was easily able to up his speed enough to quickly sweep Nas from under his feet and with his own momentum was also flung in the air in the same direction as Torque.

"Let's get this done!" Road Burn

Not only did they have their momentums used against them but Nas and Torque only realize that they're about to collide with each other as they become face to face in mid air. As they collide with each other Road Burn and Charger speeds over, runs around them at a high enough speed creating a tornado and begins attacking them simultaneously.

"We having fun yet?!" Charger

Charger and Road Burn would continue this assault for about one minute or so before coming to a stop. The two would continue spinning for another moment before their momentum finally subdues to gravity and they collapse to the ground.

"Gentlemen as usual its been a pleasure." Charger

"But sadly we have business elsewhere." Road Burn

"That's right!... We do?" Charger

"Yeah. We're going to go pay "Light Speed" a visit." Road Burn

"Ahhhh.. We're going to go talk to the "Big Kahuna" eh? Well then I guess we do have business elsewhere!" Charger

Road Burn and Charger then speeds off leaving Torque and Nas on the ground unconscious.
