Chapter 14: I Like You Too

Koji acted without hesitation, and as soon as he heard "I have feelings for you," he dashed forward and pulled Rei into a passionate kiss. Rei was completely caught off guard and couldn't even think straight. His mind went blank the moment their lips touched. He found himself following Koji's lead and kissing him back. Koji then kissed him more aggressively and bit his lip, causing Rei to open his mouth slightly. Seizing the opportunity, Koji then French kissed Rei. Koji had lost all sense of control over his actions. They finally stopped when they were both gasping for air. As Koji gazed into Rei's eyes, he saw a cringeworthy daydream he had conjured up in his mind. Quickly looking away, he feared Rei might uncover his embarrassing thoughts if he stared too long. His cheeks flushed red, and even the tips of his ears burned with embarrassment. Rei couldn't help but notice this and broke into a smile. Seizing the moment, Koji playfully teased Rei, "Is this how you treat your second in command?" Rei was utterly fed up with this mischievous unfairness and exclaimed "The second in command has misused his position by locking lips with an employee in his workplace!" Koji's assistant struts in, not bothering to lift his eyes from the tablet as he declares, "Mr. Hyoza, you've got a meeting regarding the internal issue for the trial of the new game- Meraners." He finally glances up, realizing he interrupted a private moment, quickly averts his gaze, and mutters, "CEO's orders." before scurrying out the door. The poor guy was clearly spooked by the sight of Koji and Rei in such a compromising position. Rei was leaning against the desk, while Koji had his arm around Rei's waist, getting a little too close for comfort. 1. Rei, feeling all flustered, snapped, "Aren't you supposed to be somewhere else?" as he attempted to nudge him by firmly planting his hands on Koji's chest. As soon as his hands made contact, he could practically hear Koji's heart racing. Koji then gave Rei a quick peck on the lips before casually stating, "I'll be back."

Koji thought he could just walk away from Rei, but oh no, Rei's evil side came out to play! That devilish smirk on his face said it all - he was ready to do whatever it takes to make Koji his own. And now, Rei's strutting around like he's already won the prize. Watch out, Koji! Rei managed to squeeze in some free time in Koji's busy schedule once more. This time, he confidently barged into the room without even bothering to wait for a response. Rei casually pulled out a chair, sat down in front of Koji, and asked with a mischievous grin, "So, how about a date?" Koji, taken aback, hesitated for a moment before finally questioning, "How about we go to that new movie?"

Rei decided to whisk Koji away to a hotel room after their date because of the rain and lack of signal. After showering, they both relaxed on the bed. Koji was still trying to wrap his head around how they went from strangers to a first date in just 5 days. He laid on his side and slowly shut his eyes. Suddenly, Rei pulled him into a warm embrace and kissed him on the forehead before falling asleep while holding Koji all night long. This time, he made sure to let Alexis know he wouldn't be coming back for the night, just in case.
