"The simulation machine didn't handle the mind with the care typical of regular machines; instead, it was rough, devoid of any safety settings. I realized this after experiencing a severe headache, finding myself stuck in a black void for about fifteen minutes with nothing to do.
Finally, the world slowly began to take shape, colors returning as the ground and walls materialized around me. In about twenty minutes, the world became fully formed, and all my senses returned to normal.
I looked around. I was in a closed room surrounded by four gray walls and a ceiling of the same color, with a door opposite me. I immediately went to open it and stepped out into a vast hall straight out of the medieval era.
The walls were made of old but sturdy gray brick, and the floor was stone, covered with a kind of blue carpet.
