Chapter 14

"How do you see me, Cirvenie? No matter how spineless I might be, I won't beg like a pauper... Don't worry, just because you saved my father's company, I will keep my word..." Cirvenie said stiffly, but inside she felt increasingly depressed.

Daniel finally smiled again, turned his head, and pulled her close, planting a firm kiss on her lips before she could react.

This kiss was different from the previous two; it was wild, almost like a declaration, yet also tender and cautious. Cirvenie went from initial shock to resistance, then to helplessness, and finally, she sank into his kiss...

Cirvenie stared at him fixedly. This was not a dream. None of this was a dream. She had sold herself. She had sold her dignity, her feelings, everything. She had no choice left. She searched on Baidu:

"No... I'm not having second thoughts... just... please not in the car..." Cirvenie's voice grew softer as she spoke, the last few words almost inaudible.

Daniel gave her a deep look, his lips curling into a handsome smile. "Alright..." He instantly started the engine, stepped on the gas, and the car shot forward like an arrow.

Outside, the city lights were just coming on. The buildings by the roadside quickly receded into the distance. Cirvenie remained silent, her hands tightly clasped on her lap.

The car soon stopped in front of a luxurious hotel. Daniel got out, tossed the car keys to the valet, walked over to her side, and wrapped his arm around her now stiff body, leading her towards the elevator.

Cirvenie could only follow his steps mechanically. With every step, her heart grew more anxious. What was inevitable had to come. She took a deep breath and followed him into the presidential suite.

As soon as the door closed, he suddenly turned and seized her, his passionate kisses overwhelming her, causing Cirvenie to go limp in his arms. He picked her up and carried her straight to the spacious bedroom.

He threw her roughly onto the bed, jolting Cirvenie back to her senses. She scrambled to the other end of the bed in a panic.

"Wa... wait... Mr. Daniel..." Cirvenie's heart was about to leap out of her throat as she looked warily at the dangerous man before her.

"Daniel." He looked at her with a half-smile, tugging at the tie around his neck. "Or... Ren. I like my women to call me that..." He leaned in slightly, his mischievous eyes gleaming.

Cirvenie continued to shrink towards the corner of the bed. "Da... Daniel... can we... can we... not do this now... I'm... I'm not mentally prepared..."

Daniel looked at her coldly, watching as she retreated to the edge of the bed with nowhere else to go. As expected, with a cry of "Ah!", Cirvenie fell off the bed.

Seeing the man standing on the other side of the bed with a cold smile, she thought, "This bastard, he set me up?"

She glanced outside, then suddenly sprang up and dashed towards the door.

Daniel was faster, catching her around the waist and throwing her back onto the bed even harder. Cirvenie was dizzy from the toss, and before she could react, his tall frame loomed over her.

"Remember? This is where we first met..." His gentle voice was seductive and calming, making Cirvenie fall silent and stare at him. "Tonight, let's make up for last time's regret..."

He breathed softly into her ear, kissing her delicate earlobe and nibbling gently.

A jolt of electricity shot through Cirvenie's body, making her tremble. Her hands, which were pushing against his chest, became weak and powerless. The words she wanted to say stuck in her throat. Her heartbeat quickened, becoming more irregular, and her body grew hotter with his kisses.

His large hands skillfully caressed her delicate body, finding sensitive spots, sending waves of electricity through her. Wherever he touched felt like it was burning. His lips and tongue explored her skin, the sweet fragrance stimulating his nerves. Her inexperienced, trembling movements only fueled his desire.

His hand moved to her back, deftly unfastening her bra, then gently covered one of her breasts. The skin-to-skin contact, the heat of his palm, made Cirvenie open her eyes in shock, her body stiffening.

"Don't be afraid, baby..." He murmured against her lips, his hand moving to her smooth back, gently stroking.

When Cirvenie woke up, the room was shrouded in darkness. She blinked in confusion, unable to remember where she was. Struggling to sit up, she realized she was naked, the soreness all over her body confirming the obvious. She froze.

How could she forget? She had sold herself.

Coming to her senses, she looked around but saw no sign of that bastard. Good. It was best if they never met again.

She got up to dress and noticed a gold card on the bedside table. She picked it up cautiously, a mocking smile appearing on her face. He was indeed generous. Did he leave such a card every time he slept with a woman?

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. She hurriedly put on her clothes and went to open the door.

A waiter stood outside with a trolley. Seeing her, he quickly put on a smile. "Miss, you're awake? This is the dinner the young master ordered for you..."

Only then did Cirvenie realize she hadn't eaten dinner. She glanced at the clock in the room; it was almost 7:30.

Seeing her silence, the waiter continued, "The young master said to bring it up at this time so as not to disturb your rest..."

The waiter's polite explanation sounded harsh to Cirvenie, as if reminding her of the passion she had shared with him earlier.
