Survival ( Part 6 )

As the elf curiously checked the now black water, the star woman seemed to want to climb the rock to see what was above the waterfall but wait to other to join first .

Honestly her team didn't have much fighting power. Anka was quite skilled but her stats did not give her an edge in continuous combat.

The elf 'Svartur' was an official 'Ludus' player which was quite impressive but he was not good at fighting unknown beasts. Fahim was a dragon that Anka knew nothing about , but intuition told her that he was not good at physical combat.

As for the star woman, Skoni, she was a famous researcher and maker of potions and inscriptions, but without physical strength which is impressive but useless in a battle with beasts...

Now, the star woman's physique was similar to that of a 10-year-old girl, but because she had a star mark on her forehead, it meant that she was mature.

The star people species was a mysterious one because their home was in the so-called black holes, they mastered one of the primary powers of the universe 'gravity', even if to a small extent.

Many species respected them and sought advice from them as they were among the most intelligent beings in space.

So Anka didn't think Skoni had no defensive strength. Although it was sealed, the unique racial power could not be stopped by the system so it should be able to manipulate gravity to some extent.

Then the mind jumps to the elf.

This species was known for its beauty but also loyalty. Their power was tied to their weapons. Before maturity they had to create their own soul weapon that will become their companion, depending on the materials used the elves will receive different affinities.

For example iron - can make them sensitive to this material and manipulate it in simple ways. And since birth they are in harmony with the wind and nature. What makes them natural hunters.

So the elf will play an important role in future battles even if he doesn't have much experience.

And last but not least, the dragon...

They were among the first powerful species in the universe and putting them in a certain category is out of place. The reason is that dragons are born with different abilities depending on their scales.

Some can control lava and others water. Sometimes children are born with completely unique powers - like controlling dreams or the power of plants...

The reason Dragons and Phoenixes are always at war is because they have these characteristics in common.

'Fahim had black hair so he should be a black dragon...'

Anka thought distractedly, but that didn't give much indication. There were many powers that could be integrated into the color black.

"If I had the opportunity to see his eyes, maybe I would have more clues, but he always wear that mask..."

The thing dragons had in common was that they were good at magic, or controlling the energy around them naturally.

Putting the useful information about his teammates, she formed a crude battle strategy and confidently buys from the system a magic contract presided over by the system with a cost of 10 000 gold coins...

Honestly, Anka felt a little bad seeing that in just 3 days she had consumed almost 50,000 gold coins.

'What a waste I am ... I only have 7,353 coins left so I need to earn more as soon as possible ...'

She bravely bit the tip of her index finger , but she didn't quite succeed.

'It really looked cool when I saw it in 'Naruto' , but when it comes to doing it I don't have the courage.'

So she took out the dagger and cut off a bit of the tip of her finger.

Then she began to write on the parchment with blood , the contract she had thought of.

[ Team contract

Part A will collect and sell more parts of the beasts to the system for coins. Part B, Part C, Part D will help to Part A and will each receive a percentage of the amount.

Clauses:

1. During the contract neither Part can betray or breach the contract

2. During the contract, Part A will do its best to ensure that Part B, Part C and Part D survive

3. Part B, Part C and Part D can come with information and action plans but everything will be put to a vote in case of disagreement

4. In case of serious injury to a Party, the rest will vote whether to count or not

5. The contract can be modified along the way only with the unanimity of all Parts

...

The percentages due to the Parties are as follows:

Part A ( A (Anka) - 30%

Part B (Svartur) - 25%

Part C (Skoni) - 25%

Part D (Fahim) - 20%

This contract is presided over by the system and attracts the attention of the rules so breaking it will lead to serious consequences.]

Anka looked at the contract several times, reading it and making sure that everything was in order ...

'I wasn't good at finance or legal stuff, when you think I'm using contracts now it's very strange...'

Then she calls the rest of the team to the first 'strategic meeting'.

They sat around the fire. Anka put a large pot on it , she wanted to make mashed potatoes to eat for breakfast so filled it with water and peeled several potatoes .

- I called to talk about our future plans.

The elf raised his hand like a middle schooler .

- What plans? Don't we have to survive? And can we change the house? I don't really like it in the cave, I'd prefer a fort in the trees...

'It makes sense, after all elves are forest creatures...'

The girl just shook her head at Svartur words...

- For now we will stay in the caves until we can be sure that it is safe in the trees at night. As for the plans, I didn't plan from the beginning just to survive.

To the confusion shown by the group, Anka presents the additional mission given by the system.

- I want to hunt beasts and exchange them for coins with the system. I'm lacking right now and plan to increase my body stats through combat as well. This planet is perfect for that.

Then Anka showed the contract to the three people in front of her.

- I don't plan to take advantage of you, so I made this contract, you can think of other clauses if I missed something.

The elf casually looked over him and just nodded in agreement.

Elves are simple creatures that don't like complications, plus I think they would like to fight the creatures here for fun so they wouldn't mind. The dragon looked at the contract for a while then probably looked at Anka for a few seconds, then nodded too.

'I really wonder what this guy is thinking...'

The one who read the contract most carefully was the female star. Then she addressed Anka:

- Can we keep animal materials if we want? Certainly on an equivalent price.

- You mean you need a material from this planet?

Anka thought for a moment then said:

- Say the materials you need and the system will give the equivalent price. We can then divide the contribution according to the agreement and you pay members with the due compensation.

(To understand, I give an example: The 'item' costs 3000 coins , then Party A gets 900 coins -30% , Party B gets 750 coins- 25% , Party D gets 600 coins -20% )

The group added some causes that ensure safety and so on , they all then signed with the blood and the contract turns into something like threads and binds their hands.

With the contract completed, Anka relaxed and a sense of security satisfied her a little. While eating boiled potatoes the group had random conversations.

The elf was the most active but the star woman's interventions and the dragon's to-the-point comments made Anka feel very pleasant.

'It's been a long time since I could have such a casual conversation with someone.'

The girl was fascinated by customs and stories from space while the 'aliens' were curious about human culture.

'I can't believe they want to hear the 'Cinderella' story again...'

Then the discussion got serious when it came to battle strategies and powers.
