Ruins

They quickly moved forward.

This scenario would last quite a long time as far as Anka remembers. Right now they have 48 hours to prepare for the first game.

And training means learning magic.

Right now 32 teams representing certain planets have been teleported to the planet.

The games will eliminate teams one by one until only two remain. Their current goal must be to reach the central temple where they will receive the magic book and attempt to learn it.

Because on this planet, magic is the most powerful weapon. Right now they had already been walking for 3 hours but they didn't leave the stone road.

Remains of various buildings could be seen around, and the vegetation grew very wild. Not far away was a rather large building that looked quite cool as it retained some of its former grandeur.

Anka's eyes caught a strange trace in the air.

She didn't know what it was but she wanted to investigate.

So she broke away from the group and walked towards that stone mansion. The group that was wary of their surroundings saw , her heading towards that stone mansion and followed.

The closer she got to the building she noticed how grand it was. The former garden was now a mass of weeds but somehow there were still a few roses that had bloomed.

The door was wide open, but there were holes in the interior floor. The mansion looked big from the outside but was even bigger from the inside. It had a hall that opened into a crescent and carved stone stairs ascended to the upper floors.

The floor must have been covered with something of value because it was all dug up. The walls had battle marks and scratches, and in some places there was ash.

Anka looked at the huge hall for a while then went upstairs to investigate. As if remembering something, she looked at the group of seven people who followed her inside the mansion.

- I don't care what you think of me, but you probably want to cover for now. We will stay here for an hour. A group has been following us since we arrived on the planet, and some of you know this, so get ready to get rid of them.

William looked at the other association presidents who weren't showing any sign of wanting to say anything and looked up at Anka.

- Miss, how about we do a group discussion first?

Anka knew this was coming, but she wanted to check out the mansion first.

- You can chat while I check the building, then I'll join.

With that , she disappeared into the corridor of the next floor.

The girl didn't know if they started talking or if they were looking for clues like her, she was just going by instinct towards a certain place.

She thought she had crossed the whole mansion and reached the inner garden...

There seemed to have been a well here, only now it was badly damaged. She rolled the stones that were blocking the foundation and dug the ground with a board. After a few minutes perhaps, a hole in the ground big enough for her body to enter was visible.

Anka without a moment's hesitation descends through the hole.

'I don't know what's wrong with me. I would not have gone down this kind of narrow path before. Besides the fact that it is quite dangerous, the dirt and the various insects would have terrified me...'

'Since I arrived in this world I have lost a lot of my sense of reality...'

' I hardly find strong feelings. When you think that I miss the feeling of fear or even sadness ...'

'I haven't lost my feelings, what nonsense am I saying?'

'My way of feeling has only changed...'

Anka was descending through the darkness leaning on the earthen walls.

The lower it went, the less air there was.

Then when she finally reached the bottom of the well, the hole she had come down through was so small and far away that you could hardly see it. Although the girl had no flashlight, or fire to illuminate, her eyes saw something that guided her.

The bottom of the well seemed to have been very wide and deep.

Anka then found a cave connected to the well. This was a very strange one. Looking at his walls that looked hollowed out, the girl frowned. The space in the cave was quite large, and somewhere on the ceiling there was a crack through which light entered.

The rock excavation was very detailed.

Every wall was covered with strange drawings and pictures.

But Anka's eyes were drawn to something else. In the center of the room was a young girl.

This was chained with red chains piercing her hands and feet...

The girl stares blankly at the walls with different pictures.

This person was a soul. The soul of a phoenix to be exact.

Anka studied her thoroughly.

The color of the soul was a bizarre one. It had the same texture as the black mist her ability used.

The red chains seemed to be made of blood, and the binding site seems to be very far away...

' I like her .'

'More precisely, I like her soul.'

Anka knew she had some soul-related abilities and something was whispering to her that she could take this girl.

She took a step towards her.

It did not seem to react.

Then she did another.

Closer and closer .

Then she reached out and touched the chains of blood...

Dense memories quickly circulated through Akai's mind…

Anka took an attitude as if she had seen a movie.

In just a few moments she saw a lifetime of loneliness.

Her eyes looked towards Honap. Then, as if knowing something, she ran her palm over the girl's forehead.

This turns into that ball shape.

It had the same color, but the size was quite small. Anka looked at her with satisfaction and put her in the backpack of the system.

Then she looked at the wall for a moment and then left.

She had nothing more to do here.

It was a little difficult for her to climb back up. So it took a while. When she arrived again in the main hall, the group was waiting for her.

- Sorry for the wait.

Anka spoke politely, but her good mood was too obvious.

The group pulled up some chairs and now sat in a circle.

- First of all, the purpose of the scenario is to raise our planet from the ranks of the lower races. Therefore, our performance must be good enough.

Matei intervened.

- When we get to the temple, what strategy will we choose?

William seemed to think for a moment and then said:

- How about everyone specialize in something as a first step? For example, one can do healing spells while another learns attack spells.

Juliana spoke:

- But I don't think this will work. We don't know exactly what it's like to learn magic, and maybe not everyone is good at it...

Ella took the floor:

- Maybe we can rely on the powers already acquired and look for spells that match our powers?

Matei spoke:

- It's a much better idea. But the problem is something...

Alesio opened his mouth and spoke:

- We don't know what games or even what types of games we will participate in, and we can't function well as a team.

The fact that a child would talk like that made Anka want to laugh, but she couldn't help it.

Background Character :

- Team? Can we call ourselves that?

Then his eyes turned to Anka who was trying not to laugh...

- Ugh...ahem...what is it?

The guy turned red with anger. Anka admired his red face then looked at the rest.

They were probably going to be her colleagues for quite a long time. Regardless of history she should work with them to pass the script...

'Let me give it a little effort...'

Then she got up from the chair.

All eyes were on her now. Then she opened her mouth.

- Normally, I wouldn't care a bit about your opinions about me, but since we are all going to be a team, I will put a little effort into trying to improve the relationship.

She wandered randomly through the great hall because she didn't like to sit still.

- So I promise not to betray the earth team during the whole scenario. You can even make a contract with the system. So you will probably be calm, right?

Matei looked at Alesio.

William looked at Ella.

The background characters were looking at Wiliam.

And Juliana was still looking at Alesio.

So in just a few seconds, Anka could have distinguished who is with whom.

Ella spoke first.

- Are you really willing to sign a contract?

- Yes .

Anka knew they feared her, but they also wanted her power on her side. Everyone wanted to win this scenario.

'I will be able to develop many powers here.'
