Regald

Writer's POV:

Few years ago a prophecy was revealed to Cleopatra Hansel, a Priestess in the Church Of England and a former student to the Bishop Of Canterbury himself.

The prophecy went as though:

'Ten plagues of Hell shall visit Europe,

The ninth plague shall overthrow the

Earth, the tenth plague will hasten

World domination, it's only solution is

The Chronicles Of The Undead, and

For that purpose an alliance must be

Formed by all Clans and Creatures'

The Clans and Creatures held no regards to the prophecy so they battled independently, and independently they battled eight plagues. They waited for months for the ninth plague but no demon showed up, suddenly they were invaded by a massive amount of Third Tier Vampires, a legion of demons that fed on human blood to sustain itself, they lost a lot of lives in the battle, but they joyfully awaited the tenth plague, they were then visited with the Second Tier Vampires, which they lost majority of their warriors to.

So they fled, leaving the vampires to nest in caves, the vampires hid in the morning and invaded small towns at night. Finally the head of each clan held a meeting where they discussed their alliance, and marriages between the clans was advised to strengthen the alliance.

By the time Herdis had gotten up, Razar was nowhere to be found. But that was the least of her worries, she needed to write a letter to Ceres as soon as possible. She needed him to get her out of this place as soon as possible.

'I survived last night but…' She couldn't even bring herself to think about what transpired last night and what would have happened if he didn't go crazy.

The thought of the other night made her numb.

'He almost killed me last night, what will happen next time?' She asked herself.

Earlier yesterday Herdis was shown her personal maid by the Castle's Butler, Nicholas.

She had her breakfast while Rebekah drew my bath. The Lamb Chop broth tasted divine, the bread was soft and tender and the cake, dense and creamy.

'I must praise this Castle's cook, this is magic.'

"The bath is ready, Milady." Rebekah announced.

"Am on my way." Herdis said, wiping her mouth with serviettes then she slipped into the bathroom. She soaked herself in the bath to relax her nerves.

'Even the bath soap here is unique, it smells like lotus and rose, how nice.' She thought to herself.

After about ten minutes Herdis stepped out of the bathroom and slid into her bathrobe, her clothes were already selected and placed on the bed, it was a Beige Corset gown off shoulder dress with floral laces at the end of each arm sleeve, although it wasn't a ceremonial ball gown, it still gave off the aura of one.

'These Werewolves have a unique taste.'

Her hair was steamed and tied into a low bun, while she was adorned with simple jade accessories.

After she was all dressed up, she sat down on her bed and stared at Rebekah,

"What's next?" She questioned.

"Well you aren't meant to have much in your schedule today, Milady. So a tour round the castle or would you rather read historical books in the Castle's library." Rebekah suggested.

"Umm, how about we do both, I am bored anyway." Herdis replied.

"Which would you rather do first, Milady?" Rebekah asked.

"The former." Herdis replied.

IN THE CORRIDORS:

"The Castle is divided into five, the West wing, the North wing, the South wing, the East wing and the Overpass.

The South wing consists of guest rooms and the rooms of every other member of this household excluding the Prince, whose room is located at the East wing where the library, studies and Council hall is located.

The west wing is basically the kitchen and storages, for food and other things. The North wing is a museum or shrine for every late member of this household, and finally the Overpass, is located underground close to the stables, it's a dungeon, a torture cell to prisoners and offenders of this household." Rebekah explained.

"Okay that's a lot." Herdis commented.

"It is, Milady."

"Umm, where are the other members of this household?" Herdis asked. "We walked through several corridors, halls and rooms but I didn't see any single person other than the workers." She explained.

"Ohh, the King's around but he has health issues and doesn't socialize much. While the rest, they haven't been around for a while now, but they will be in a few days time." Rebekah replied.

They came to a halt in a hall filled with paintings, several paintings. Herdis ran her fingers across each painting.

"This should be, the King?" Herdis asked.

"Yes Milady, King Hysander, Former Alpha of the Silver pack." Rebekah replied.

"Silver weakens werewolves, am I right?" Herdis asked.

"Yes you are, Milady."

"It's that the origin of the name?"

"Precisely Milady, this specific Pack is immune to silver and its properties."

"I never heard of that."

"I don't know the full history but from what I have heard, a great witch performed the ritual."

'A great witch, why would a witch work for a werewolf?' Herdis asked herself.

"This is the queen mother, am I right?" Herdis asked, standing before a large painting of a beautiful woman.

"Yes, Queen Annex."

"How many siblings does Razar have?"

"About four now, he once had six brothers and three sisters:

Uriel, Tyrian, Lorena, Madera, Eugar, Razar, Xerxes , Xerxed and Yves, as it was in order."

"Was?" Herdis asked.

"They died in battle, he currently has three brothers and one Sister. Uriel, Tyrian, Lorena, Razar and Xerxes, as it is in current order."

"They all died in the same battle?" Herdis asked. And Rebekah replied. "Two were lost in a war against the Witches, the rest died battling the plagues of hell."

"Razar isn't the King's first offspring, am I correct?"

"Yes."

"Then how did he become the Alpha?"

"Well, inheritance here is decided through combat. He was quite young from what I heard."

"Weren't his older brothers much stronger?"

"They were, but physical strength isn't the only thing needed in combat. Psychological strength as well as resistance and strategy."

'True.' Herdis thought to herself.

Herdis stood before a strange but familiar portrait of a young man. She ran her hands across the painting and she could see blurry images but she couldn't hear them speak or decipher what was being said.

"Who's this?" Herdis asked.

"It's Regald. The First Alpha of Silver pack." Rebekah replied.
