He entered the hall and met many other players who had hurriedly formed social groups while he remained brooding on what "The voice of the gods" was all about.

Khaos sat alone at a table, nursing a drink and observing the other players in the hall. He was lost in thought, trying to make sense of his newfound hunting aid, when he noticed a group of players approaching him.

Quill, a tall and lanky player with a mischievous grin, led the way. "Hey, you're Khaos, right? The fallen angel with the Voice of the Gods?"

Khaos nodded, slightly surprised. "Yeah, that's me."

Phantom, a quiet and mysterious player with piercing eyes, smiled. "We've heard a lot about you, Khaos. We're Quill, Phantom, and Raider." Khaos nodded narrowing his eyes.

Raider, a burly player with a thick beard, extended a hand. "We're all newbies, just like you. And we're all struggling to survive."

Quill leaned in, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "We heard about your hunting aid and thought, 'Hey, that's someone we need to know!'"

" What exactly is it?" Khaos asked.

" Dude it's one of the coolest skill a hunter could have, it's like a heightened sixth sense but better and provides you with invaluable info shaving seconds off reaction times in a battle" Phantom said in awe.

" We're all in rank E just like you, but while you're the only fallen angel, I'm a mage, Quill's a warlock and Raider's an elf"

" Hunters converge" a voice boomed, " let's go see what that is about Quill said and led the others to the centre of the hall. A mage stood on a podium and started " Greetings hunters, it is with great pleasure to see you standing here, to get this along we shall divide you into groups in the other of your class. Elves you're with Lady Zephyr, Warlocks you're with Lord Gordon, Mages you're with Lord Syphon, make haste and good luck!" the mage concluded.

Meanwhile Phantom gave a wink at a confused Khaos and mouthed the words " good luck" before leaving for his training direction. The crowd dissipated and remained just Khaos who looked around at the now empty hall.

" I was told of a fool who chose the fallen angel Avatar" the mage said on his descent from the podium. " Yeah well I guess that would be me " Khaos smiled.

" You are going with Lord Malyster" the mage said. " Great! who is he?" Khaos asked in an excited tone. " You're talking to him" The mage replied with a malicious glint in his eyes...

The mage led him to an empty training space and gave him his blades, while he himself conjured up a swirling ball of cards. " I'm familiar with this part, this is the part where you beat the crap outta me in the name of training"

The mage actually laughed at the prospect. " I'm not going to beat the 'crap' as you call it, we're only gonna play a game of solitaire" he said and fired a card at him surprisingly hitting his chest with the kinetic energy of a mail, the impact launched him a couple meters and took a toll on his health.

...Khaos stats...

- Health: 300/350

- Mana: 150/150

- Strength: 30

- Agility: 120

- Intelligence: 100

" You tryna kill me " Khaos asked in surprise, " A mere bluff with a card won't kill you, rather one with a load of it will" he grinned and fired the entire mass of it at him to which he dodged in time.

Lord Malyster sneered, his eyes blazing with intensity. "You're no match for my magic, Khaos. But I'll push you to your limits, and beyond!"

Khaos drew his dual blades, their dark metal gleaming in the flickering torchlight. "Bring it on, Lord. I'm ready to learn!"

Malyster hurled a card at Khaos, its edge razor-sharp. The card transformed into a deadly scythe, flying towards Khaos with lethal precision. Khaos dodged barely in time, the scythe slicing through the air mere inches from his face.

Khaos retaliated with a swift slash, aiming for Malyster's chest. Malyster conjured a shield of swirling cards, deflecting the attack. The cards then counterattacked, striking Khaos with a barrage of tiny, precise blows that drew blood.

Khaos' Health - 290/350.

Malyster summoned a wave of flames, engulfing Khaos in a blaze of fire that seemed to seek out his very soul. Khaos leapt back, avoiding the worst of the flames, but his Health still took a hit.

Khaos' Health - 250/350.

Khaos charged forward, unleashing a Demon Forged blast that sent Malyster flying across the room. But the mage quickly recovered, summoning a whirlwind of cards that pinned Khaos to the ground, their tips digging deep into his skin.

Khaos' Health - 210/350.

Malyster summoned a giant, spectral sword, striking Khaos with a powerful blow that sent him crashing to the stone floor. Khaos struggled to rise, but Malyster's magic held him in place.

Khaos' Health - 170/350.

Malyster raised his hand, conjuring a dark energy that seemed to draw the very life force from Khaos' body. Khaos' vision blurred, his strength failing.

Khaos' Health - 120/350.

But Khaos refused to yield. With a fierce cry, he unleashed a final Demon Forged blast, striking Malyster with all his might. The mage stumbled back, his eyes widening in surprise.

Malyster nodded, impressed. "Well done, Khaos. You've passed the test. Your potential is great, indeed."

And with that, the training session ended, Khaos rising to his feet, exhausted but triumphant.
