"Keep attacking and grab Pikachu!!" Brock was not discouraged when he missed a hit, and continued to have Onix launch a fierce attack.

Onix continued to rush towards Pikachu, its huge body twisting in the rocky field and smashing the surrounding rocks to pieces.

"Pikachu, use Agility!" Ash commanded, unfazed. While Onix had strength, it lacked speed. The battlefield was spacious enough, so Ash immediately gave Pikachu a clear order.

Pikachu immediately followed Ash's command, its body flickering rapidly back and forth. Because it moved so fast, it seemed like there were several Pikachus on the field.

Onix couldn't capture Pikachu's movements for a while, and Brock frowned slightly as he observed this. Though he wasn't worried about Pikachu causing much damage to Onix, if Onix couldn't catch it, his Pokémon would waste a lot of stamina. A large body gave Onix super defensive and destructive power, but it also consumed a lot of energy.

"I see, this Pikachu is quite agile! How about this: Onix, use Rock Tomb."

Seeing that Ash's Pikachu had excellent speed, Brock decided to stop attacking blindly. He originally wanted Onix to capture Pikachu to end the battle quickly, but now he realized he had to block its movements first.

Ash tensed as he heard Brock's command. Onix stopped moving, raised its head to the sky, and roared angrily.

Moo! ! ! !

A faint light radiated from Onix, and many huge rocks appeared in the air out of thin air, falling one after another.

Bang bang bang! ! !

Rocks crashed down, smashing into the field. Pikachu had to dodge with all its strength, but the vast area covered by Rock Tomb significantly reduced its movement space.

Boom! !

Pickup! ! ! !

One of the rocks fell next to Pikachu, and the impact knocked it away, causing it to hit the ground.

"Ah!!!" Misty stood up nervously and looked at the field. Rock-type moves weren't as effective against Pikachu as Ground-type moves, but Pikachu wasn't as durable as Onix.

"Pikachu, are you okay?" Ash looked at the fallen Pikachu, concerned but not overly worried. He knew Pikachu wasn't easily defeated and saw it had only been knocked back by the impact.

Pika... Pikachu! !

Pikachu pushed itself up, shook its head, and resumed its combat stance.

Ash smiled at Pikachu's resilience and turned his serious gaze to Brock and Onix. He realized that in this world, reality differed from anime and games. Both games and anime were updated over time with new elements, but this world was different.

Pokémon's initial skills and other aspects were underdeveloped, and as new works appeared, many things, including moves, were added. Rock Tomb, a move that appeared in the third generation, now existed here too.

This meant that in future battles, Ash had to consider not only the timeline but also new elements from other generations. He only knew about the Unova Region from the later series, as he came to this world before he had time to catch up, so he had to be cautious in subsequent battles.

"Can you still stand up? But it doesn't matter. Once you lose room to move, your Pikachu is finished. Onix, use Rock Tomb again."

Seeing that Pikachu could still fight, Brock spoke up appreciatively but didn't relax, giving Onix another order.

Onix roared again, and more rocks appeared in the air. The field was already spacious, but the rocks from the previous Rock Tomb made it much narrower. Using Rock Tomb again would make the entire field very cramped, rendering Pikachu's speed useless.

Ash looked up at the rocks emerging from the sky and then at the ceiling above, his expression suddenly changing.

"Come on, Onix!!!" Brock yelled. Onix let out a dull growl, and rocks began to fall from the sky again.

"Pikachu! Use Quick Attack to dodge the Rock Tomb!"

Ash gave an order just as the rocks started to fall. Everyone was stunned by Ash's command, but Pikachu didn't hesitate.

Pika pika! ! ! !

Pikachu released a silver flash, then dashed into the air. As the rocks fell, it jumped high and landed on one, then quickly jumped onto another using Quick Attack.

"What! Avoiding Rock Tomb like that!" Brock's face showed shock. It was dangerous under the falling rocks, but absolutely safe above them.

Using Onix's Rock Tomb as a jumping platform, Pikachu quickly approached Onix. With Pikachu's speed, it reached Onix in a blink.

As the last rocks fell, Pikachu stepped on one and jumped high, covering the sky with its body. Brock raised his head, looking up at Pikachu.

"Pikachu, use Iron Tail!"

Pika~~~chuu! ! ! !

Pikachu swung its body in the air, and Ash's eyes glowed slightly red, as if his consciousness was shared with Pikachu.

"Of course, Iron Tail! But it's not so easy to deal with my Onix. Onix, use Iron Tail to counter!"

Brock was prepared, knowing Ash wouldn't send Pikachu without a plan. Since Electric-type moves wouldn't work, Pikachu must have another move to damage Onix.

"Who said Pikachu was going to attack Onix?" Ash's eyes glinted with confidence, and a smile spread across his face.
