Sora's POV

"Everyone settle down," Mr. Jeon cleared his throat after darting his son a disappointed look. I slowly sat on the chair beside Mrs. Kim.

"What's wrong my Jungkookie?" Mrs. Jeon asks, leaning toward her son. He grimaces at her and quickly turns back to his phone.

"Let's enjoy dinner," Mr. Kim announced to break the tension within the dining room. Mrs. Kim started to fill my plate with food when she noticed I wasn't eating much.

"Oh my, thank you!" I slightly bow my head when she places some pieces of roasted turkey onto my plate. I want Korean food...

"Eat well, Sora-shi! Don't be shy!" Mrs. Kim grins at me.

"Neh, I'll eat well," I bowed my head again. It was really awkward to eat with strangers, so I carefully chewed my food little by little. If I was home, I'd devour my food like a pig. Fffs, I can't do that here.

Jungkook let out a loud sigh before putting his phone away and he began eating his cold food. As I was eating... my eyes started to wander around in curiosity, examining each one of them, when my eyes met another pair of eyes. Oh shit, I thought and looked away immediately. I slowly turned to look across the table again and Taehyung was still staring at me, this time he looked away though.

"Ahem..." He coughed, took a sip of his water, and continued eating.

"Can you pass me the salad?" Jungkook asked, pointing at the bowl of salad in front of me without looking up.

"Oh, neh," I replied, lifting the bowl and handed it to him. Jungkook was stuffing food into his mouth with one hand while he reached out with his other hand.

"Ah thank you-FSSSS-" He murmured, finally looking up at me but before he could finish his sentence he started choking, causing the food in his mouth to spatter all over me. I froze in shock when I felt the wet cabbages on my face. Everyone stopped eating and turned to look at me. Taehyung sniggered in the corner, but Mr. Kim smacked his arm to stop him from laughing.

"Omo! Oh, my Sora-shi!" Mrs. Kim gasped, pulling out the napkin to wipe the food off my face. Aish, this little shit. He was still staring at me as if I was an alien without saying a single word.

"Jungkook! Behave yourself!" Mr. Jeon snaps, firing Jungkook a sharp glare.

"Is it just me or is there a weird girl sitting in front of me?" Jungkook asks, turning to look at his parents with a baffled expression. Did he just...?! This one is super rude!

"Is it just me or are you seriously asking us that question?" Taehyung dawdled as he turned to look at Jungkook dead in the eyes.

"Who is she? Why is she here? She might be a spy!" Jungkook snaps at his dad. He's talking as if I'm invisible what the fuck.

"Jungkook! Show some respect! She'll be staying with us for a while," Mr. Jeon scolded his son, anxiously turning to look at me.

"He's right. Strangers shouldn't be allowed in this place," Mrs. Jeon agreed while staring at her wine glass with a smug smile. They don't even want me here!

"I don't want to argue in front of Sora, don't let me hear another word," Mr. Jeon warned, then turned back to his plate of food. Now I don't feel like eating anymore. I miss appa and eomma and mostly Yoongi. I want to go home.

"Sora-shi? Aren't you eating dear?" Mr. Kim asks looking at me in concern.

"Ah, neh. I'm full. The meal was delicious. I enjoyed it," I replied after snapping out of my thoughts.

"You barely ate anything. Are you feeling unwell?" Mrs. Kim asks, slightly squeezing my hand.

"I'll head to my room now," Taehyung got up and quickly walked out of the dining room.

"I'm really full Mrs. Kim, maybe feeling a little homesick," I reassured her.

"You should go to your room then. We'll give you some time to adjust to this place," She sadly smiled while patting my hands.

"Where is she staying?" Jungkook asks Mrs. Kim. What's the matter with him?

"The central room," Mrs. Kim answered, nodding toward Jungkook. Central room? Wait, they even have names for their rooms?

"Why central? Can't she just stay in your mansion?" Jungkook asks, turning to look at me disapprovingly. I really want to kick that dumb ass.

"Jungkook, the central room is one of the safest rooms for Sora-shi." Mr. Jeon informed, glancing at his rude son with a bitter expression. Tsk tsk.

"Why the central room? She doesn't need protection, she's merely an average," He rudely replied while folding his arms. I think I'm gonna end up murdering him in his bed.

"Stop it with the nonsense! Say one more word and you won't be able to use your credit card," Mr. Jeon snaps at Jungkook. He grimaced at me and fell silent.

"Minjoon, please escort Sora to her room," Mrs. Kim waved her hand at one of the housemaids. The maid bows and opens the door for me. I bow to the Kims and the Jeons before following the maid into the corridor. We quietly walked along the hallway, turning left and right and left until I lost count.

"How do I get around this place?" I whispered, looking behind me. Everything looks the same!

"It's kind of confusing at first but you'll get used to it," The maid chuckles, turning right again.

"Why are there so many rooms and hallways?" I asked while studying each of the giant wooden doors. I'm getting dizzy, if there's a house fire I'll surely die in this maze.

"It's for protection, mostly for Taehyung-shi and Jungkook-shi. It's designed to confuse the intruders if there happens to be a break-in," She explained, stopping to fix a slightly tilted portrait before moving forward again.

"Why do they need protection?" I asked, glancing at her in confusion.

"I cannot speak on this matter because I do not know the details. I just know that they're always in danger," She explained while shaking her head. What... why?

"Huh... maybe the rich are just paranoid..." I mumbled.

"You're lucky to be in the central room. It's the room between both mansions. On the first floor. It's the safest," She turned left again.

"How do I find my way around here?" I asked, looking around the corridors in confusion. It's kinda creepy.

"If you haven't noticed, we circled the same hallway three times already," She chuckled.

"What? why?" I asked, looking around and sure enough, we were back at the painting she fixed awhile ago.

"This is what happens when you don't pay attention to your surrounding. The mansion isn't as crazy as it seems. This is your room. Right beside Jungkook's room to the right, the right is the Jeon's property. And two rooms away to the left on the opposite end is Taehyung's room, the left belongs to the Kims. And your room is in the middle," She smiled while unlocking the door for me.

"Wow, just wow. This is amazing." I whispered, glancing around the bedroom- feeling a bit dazed by the lavish interior. It's largeGiant furniture, a giant closet room, and a kingsize bed. The bedroom alone is like an entire apartment flat.

"If you need anything just press the button near your nightstand, and we'll come to you. And in case of an emergency, please click the red hidden button behind the small cabinet," She smiled, turning the cabinet to show me a red button.

"Okay..." I nodded. The maid bowed at me and quickly left the room. I'm wordless- like I can't even comprehend anything. I slowly sat on the giant bed and scanned the room in awe. This is too much. I walk towards the giant glass window and drew the curtain back to reveal the stunning view.

"Woah..." I whispered while staring at the busy streets below the hill. The mansion is located on top of a hill, so you can see the city lights and everything from up here. I took a warm bath in their large bathtub after unpacking my luggage. The bathroom alone is twice as big as my room back at home. After showering, I quickly got onto the bed and dialed my parents, but they didn't pick up the call.

"Aish... aren't they worried about me?" I huffed in annoyance.

"Yoongi~ Yonngi~" I whispered and dialed Yoongi instead.

"SORA!" He screams across the line.

"I miss you!" I chuckled, rolling onto my tummy.

"I miss you too! Can we video call? I want to see your face..." Yoongi asked, sending me the video call request.

"Of course," I chuckled and accepted it. Yoongi's pretty face appears on my screen and it made me feel a bit at ease.

"Ah! I miss you," He whines at me.

"I miss you too!" I replied, grinning widely at him.

"Are you doing okay? How's the place?" He asked. I sat up and showed the room to him.

"They're super rich and crazy," I turned the phone back to me.

"Oh my god, that's a really large room!" Yoongi gasped at me with his eyes wide open.

"Yeah it is, let me tell you how crazy it is here," I shrugged after crossing my legs on the mattress. I spent hours telling Yoongi everything and he was shocked by it, so he kept on gasping at me.

"It's getting late, you should go to bed," He weakly smiled while leaning against his bed.

"You too. I wish you were here with me. I feel so lonely," I pouted while laying down.

"We'll see each other soon, don't worry. Just take care of yourself, okay?" He smiles at me. God, I want to kiss him.

"Did I ever tell you, you always make me happy? Your smiles, your laugh, even when you're mad?" He asks as his face turns slightly red.

"Really? That's how I feel towards you too..." I smiled at him.

"I'll seriously run to Seoul right now- you're so cute," He groans while rubbing his face. He's the best.

"We'll see each other soon, hang on~!" I giggled.

"Yup, I'm gonna run to Seoul now," He laughed, smacking his head in defeat.

"You're the cutest.." I chuckled.

"We should sleep. I love you," He winked at me through the phone screen.

"I love you too," I smiled, wiggling my eyebrows at him.

"Good night! Yoongi will ride his mini scooter all the way to Seoul for Sora..." Yoongi chuckles, giving me a pouty look, making my heart churn with happiness.

"Your cuteness is overloading. Good night," I laughed and hung up on him. Ahhh, I feel better now. My throat hurts from talking too much with Yoongi, so I got up to search for water.

"Hmm... okay..." I mumbled and pressed the service button. I paced around the room... and waited for about an hour but no one came. I pressed it again and waited for another half an hour. Eh? Did I do it right?

"Aish..." I grumbled, opening my door, and slowly poked my head out between the door gap. It's emptyShould I go left or should I go right? Left! Mrs. Kim is way nicer than the Jeons. I quietly walked down the hallway... trying to figure out the way to the kitchen when the door to my right suddenly opened and Taehyung came strolling out. He stopped dead to look at me and I also stopped dead to look at him. I didn't know how to react, so we stood staring at one another in absolute silence.

"What are you doing?" Taehyung questioned when I averted my eyes away to avoid his gaze. I fully turned to face him and it was a bad idea. He's shirtless- he's in his freaking towel. What the fuck?! I immediately turned away- feeling super flustered by his unexpected appearance.

"Trying to find the kitchen," I mumbled, awkwardly staring at the painting on the wall.

"Didn't the maid tell you about the service button?" He asked, leaning against the door with a questioning look. I briefly glanced at him and immediately turned back to the painting when I felt my cheeks heating up in embarrassment. Why is he so comfortable being half-naked?!

"She did, mine isn't working," I said awkwardly.

"Jinja? Hmm, wait here I'll use mine," Taehyung nodded, dismissively walking back into his room. I quietly gasped for air the moment he disappeared into his room. I didn't breathe the entire time. What do I do..?! HE'S SHIRTLESS DKDJDJSK!

"They should be here soon," Taehyung shrugged, stepping out of his room again, but this time he had his silk robe on. Thank god...

"Thank you..." I nodded, looking at the floor uncomfortably. This is so weird!!! I'm not good at socializing!

"No problem, don't go around by yourself at night. You might get lost," He nodded and leaned against his door frame again. God, please help me.

"I'll keep that in mind," I nodded, stiffly shuffling around. I don't feel comfortable here. I want to go home.

"What's wrong with you? Do I make you feel uncomfortable?" He asked, straightening his back when he noticed I couldn't look at him.

"I- uh...I mean..uh..." I stuttered, desperately trying to come up with an excuse but my mind was completely blank. Yes, you make me feel very uncomfortable! FFGhdgjjdskl!

"What? What's wrong?" He asks, tilting his head to the side and bends his torso forward to look me in the eyes until his face is right before mine. F-fuck... I froze the moment he looked into my eyes. What the fuck is he doing...? I awkwardly glanced at him and back to the floor when he wouldn't look away... god... GOD... jebal...

"He-"

"Sir, the water is here," A maid appears with a tray of mineral water bottles. He straightens himself and turns to the maid. I sighed in relief. CLOSE, SO CLOSE.

"Thank you," He took the water from the maid, then handed it to me.

"Thanks..." I nodded, awkwardly accepting the water from him. Phew phew phew! That was so awkward!

"I'll tell appa about your broken system," Taehyung slightly smiled at me.

"Ah... neh- thank you... good night!" I smiled and scurried back to my room before he could utter another word. I FEEL LIKE DYING WHAT THE HELL?! I quickly closed the door and leaned against it in relief.
