Revised Version
I woke up the next day to find the sunlight beaming brightly into my room, still sleepy... I got up to brush my teeth and got dressed. What do I do today? It's the weekend. What can I possibly do here? Sighing, I walk out of my room. I turned around the corner and bumped right into someone. Fuck.
"Oh, mianhae," I bowed, apologetically looking up at the person.
"Gwaenchanhayo?" Taehyung groggily rubbed his barely open eyes... still in his silky robe.
"I'm fine," I nodded, walking past him but he caught my arm and pulled me back. I glanced down at his firm grip in confusion.
"Huh?" I turned to look at him. Taehyung blinked a few times... trying to shake off the sleepiness as he held onto me.
"The other way. We have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Jungkook's mansion," He informed, pointing the opposite way. Oh. Right. I started walking the other way, but he caught my arm again.
"What?" I asked, feeling a bit irritated when he kept on stopping me. What's with him?
"Your hair..." Taehyung grumbled, running his fingers through my hair- sending shivers down my spine. Uh... that's really uncomfortable.
"It's messy..." He muttered while patting my hair until my cheek flushed red from embarrassment. I thought I brushed my hair!!!
"Thank you...?" I stared at him awkwardly. That's when I remembered the awkward situation from last night. Stop thinking about it Sora!
"Kaja..." He yawned, walking into the Jeon's property. I followed closely behind him, but we didn't get far before he stopped again.
"Let me check on Jungkook," He spoke hoarsely while rubbing his eyes. It's funny how he doesn't look like the cool and cold Taehyung from the night before. He looks gentle and vulnerable without his leather jacket and boots.
"Yah, Jungkook..." He knocked on the door but Jungkook didn't respond to him, so he turned the knob.
"Aish, he's so careless. Why didn't he lock the door?" Taehyung groans and enters the room. I didn't want to go in so I waited outside for him.
"Hey, Sora, come in. You have to see this." Taehyung pokes his head out of Jungkook's room with a mischievous smile. Did he just call me by my name???
"Huh? No, it's okay," I shook my head uneasily.
"Aish, come on," Taehyung reached out to grab my hand and pulled me into the room before I could refuse him. He likes to grab people, doesn't he? Jungkook's room is as large as mine, but messier because there were clothes scattered all over the floor and couch. Rich but filthy.
"Look..." Taehyung smiled. He pulled out his phone to film Jungkook, who was fast asleep on his bed. Jungkook made this funny expression with his wide open mouth. I weakly smiled while looking at Jungkook's ridiculous state. He's kinda cute- Sora what. No, nothing.
"Be quiet..." Taehyung whispers, tiptoeing towards Jungkook. I stopped at the foot of his bed to watch Taehyung tease Jungkook in his sleep. Taehyung starts poking Jungkook's ears, nose, and eyes. Jungkook let out an annoyed groan, but Taehyung didn't stop and sniggered even louder.
"Aish! Hajima!" Jungkook yelped- hurling his pillow at me. I froze in shock when it hit me right in the face. Smack. Dazed, I stood staring at him with my eyes wide open in disbelief. What the fuck? Jungkook's eyes grew wide open when he noticed me standing at the foot of his bed. Remember when I said I wanted to murder him in his bed? Well, I'm about to do it.
"What are you doing here?! Why are you in my room?!" Jungkook yelped, backing against his bedboard in shock. That dumb ass! Why is he so frightened? Am I a monster or something?! Why is he so fucking rude?!
"W-what-" I stuttered, standing before him... dumbfounded by his reaction. He must be kidding me? He freaking threw a pillow at me and yet he's acting like-
"ARGHHHh!" Jungkook suddenly shrieked even louder, so Taehyung quickly covered Jungkook's mouth in irritation to stop him from freaking out.
"Why are you screaming! You idiot!" Taehyung snaps, shoving Jungkook hard until he collapses onto the mattress. Jungkook gulped at Taehyung before glancing back at me as if he saw a ghost.
"She-"
"I told her to come in with me! It's time for breakfast," Taehyung glares at Jungkook and turns toward the door.
"Let's go..." Taehyung hastily dragged me out of the room. Why does he keep on pulling me around?! It's so weird and annoying! Given the fact that we don't know each other at all!
"Good morning," I immediately bowed at Mr. and Mrs. Jeon as soon as we entered the dining room. Mrs. Jeon darted me a disapproving look, then turned back to her newspaper. What's her problem? Ahh... are rich people like this?
"Ah, Sora. Did you sleep well?" Mr. Jeon warmly smiled at me, but Mrs. Jeon, on the other hand, sideway darted me a cold stare.
"I did have a good sleep," I replied and sat down. Taehyung quickly ate his food without saying a single word.
"About your university, you're attending the district's university as requested by your parents," Mr. Jeon sadly informed me. Well, that's good news. Why is he giving me that pitiful look?
"That's great! I always wanted to study in Seoul," I smile brightly at Mr. Jeon, causing Mrs. Jeon to roll her eyes at me. Yup, she totally hates me.
"Wait, what? That's not safe for her..." Taehyung suddenly stopped eating. He turned to look at Mr. Jeon in confusion. Slowly chewing the food inside his mouth, Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows at Mr. Jeon with a questioning look then glanced at me.
"Why is it not safe...?" I asked, turning to look at him. Taehyung blinked at me with his eyebrows furrowed, but he didn't say anything as if he was trying to process the situation when Mr. Jeon refused to respond to him. I shot Taehyung a dumbfounded look when he turned to his food and ignored me after snapping out of his thoughts.
"Yes, I agree. I don't think it's the best place for you too, Sora. But I can't dismiss your parent's wish." Mr. Jeon sighed, putting his spoon down. Huh? I turn back to look at Mr. Jeon wordlessly. So they think the school is trash for some reason? Tsk, is it because they're rich? I can't believe this.
"She's poor, duh? Can't afford to attend our university. And don't worry, she's perfectly safe at that crappy place. No one will even care or notice her," Jungkook's voice thundered from behind me, and he appeared through the door. Did he just read my mind??? I pressed my tongue against the flesh of my inner mouth and turned to look at him in annoyance. This boy got issues with me. He surely got his mother's genes.
"What?" He smiles smugly at me when he notices my irritated expression. I shot him a piercing glare before turning to my food. Gosh, I want to break his neck.
"Did you just glare at me!?" Jungkook scoffed, pressing his hands against the table as I was about to take my first bite. Can't he let me eat in peace?!
"No, I didn't," I denied and looked up at him, dead in his eyes. He stared back at me in shock. Look at that arrogant expression pfff! Spoiled brat.
"How dare you talk back at me?" Jungkook snapped and tilted his head in annoyance. I tightly clenched the fork in my hand before sitting up straight... resisting the urge to stab him with it and pulled my lips into a thin line. He fucking asked me a question but snapped at me when I answered?! Oh right, I should've ignored him like Taehyung did! IS THIS THE RICH BEHAVIOR PRINCIPLE?! Aish!
"Can you stop it? Sit down and eat. You're spitting all over my food," Taehyung glares at Jungkook. Jungkook quickly shot Taehyung a sharp glare.
"Spsspspsps!" Jungkook rudely pretended to spit on Taehyung. What the fuck. Taehyung quietly flared his nostrils with a blank look as if he was about to murder Jungkook. But Jungkook didn't stop and continued to make faces at Taehyung. I sat staring at him with my mouth hanging open. What's wrong with him? Seriously, what's with him?
"Yah!" Taehyung slams his fist against the table and grabs Jungkook's collar in rage from across the table, startling me and the elders with his sudden outburst.
"You two! Break it! Now!" Mrs. Jeon demands while glaring at Taehyung. She pats Jungkook back after he slumps into the chair with a resentful expression. Taehyung hastily sat back down and angrily shoved his plate away from him, sending it skidding across the table.
"Eomma, stop," Jungkook grumbled, pushing his mother's hand away from him.
"I'll ask the guards to escort you in the afternoon for a proper tour of the university premises. I'll head to work now," Mr. Jeon smiled and got up. Mrs. Jeon left the room after Mr. Jeon... leaving the three of us in the quiet room. Jungkook turns to glare at me, so I shot him a glare in return. I'm not tolerating this shit anymore.
"I'll take you to your school," Taehyung offered and got onto his feet, so I broke the intense eye contact with Jungkook and glanced at him.
"Huh? You can't do that. She- I mean, you'll be in danger," Jungkook stared at Taehyung with his mouth hanging open.
"Mind your own business, cousin. I've been driving around for years, and I'm still alive," Taehyung smirked at Jungkook.
"You're cousins..?" I blurted out of curiosity which I instantly regretted because I realized how stupid I sounded. Jungkook turns to look at me as if I'm the dumbest person alive. YOU DON'T HAVE TO REMIND ME! I KNOW!
"Did you just realize that?" Jungkook asked with his eyebrows raised at me. I looked away in embarrassment and turned back to my food. I guess the ignoring thing is essential in this situation.
"I'll get dressed. Wait here," Taehyung walked out of the dining room.
"Just asking..." I whispered, wiping my hand with the hand towel and kept my eyes trained on the food.
"Now that it's just you and me. Why are you here exactly?" Jungkook questioned, placing his spoon down and took a sip of his water with his suspicious eyes trained on me.
"Because my parent told me to," I replied shortly.
"Tsk. Why is my father treating you as if you're so special?" He asks, folding his arms with a doubtful expression. Ah, this kid. I finally look up at him, feeling a bit lost because I can't comprehend his disrespectful attitude at all. Seriously, what's wrong with him?! Is he mentally ill?
"Because your father is my father's best friend," I rolled my eyes. Can't he shut up?
"Why on earth would my father be friends with such low peasant..." Jungkook chuckles in a mocking tone. His harsh response boiled my blood boil the longer I looked at him. Sora, calm down. Should I stab him with the fork? Or should I choke him in his sleep?
"I can't believe you're such a bitch," I smiled at him. Jungkook blinked at me in disbelief.
"What did you say?" He scoffs while glaring at me. Oh, look at him getting offended. His momma isn't around to defend him.
"I said you're a bitch, like a rude bitch," I smirked, folding my arms before him. I like the way his face is turning red at my offensive statement.
"You-"
"Kaja..." Taehyung appeared in the dining room dressed in his leather jacket, black tee, skinny jeans, and boots. He's back to the cold and mysterious Taehyung.
"HOW DARE-"
"Can you please shut up?! Sora, let's go..." Taehyung snapped at Jungkook and strode out of the room. I turned to look at Jungkook with a teasing smile, so he breathed heavily at my cocky expression.
"Bye..." I smirked and walked out of the room.
"YAAAAAH!" Jungkook's voice thundered angrily from behind me.
"Don't mind him," Taehyung chuckled, pulling a door open, and soon enough, I found myself walking through their private garage. There were all sorts of cars; BMW, Bugatti, Porsche, Ferrari, Land Rover, Audi, Lamborgini, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz and I lost count...
"Why are there so many..." I trail off at the sight of the cars.
"Most of it belongs to Jungkook. I'm not a fan of cars," Taehyung shrugged, stopping in front of a big black motorbike. Oh, so it was him yesterday who almost broke my spine in the driveway.
"You're into bikes?" I asked, watching him pull out the helmet.
"Bike, just this one," He corrected, Carefully placing the safety helmet over my head. His action suddenly reminded me of Yoongi, causing my cheek to flush red again. The way he places the helmet on my head and the way he tightens the chin straps for me. Except Yoongi is a sunshine, he's bright. Taehyung, on the other hand, is dark and cold. Yoongi on his mini red scooter vs Taehyung on his giant motorbike. They're totally the opposite. Ah, I miss Yoongi...
"Hey..?" Taehyung waved at me. He was already on his bike, ready to leave.
"Oh, right," I blinked and got on the motorbike. Well, this is very uncomfortable compared to Yoongi's scooter. My ass is literally sticking out, and the position is so awkward!
"Ah, this is weird. Why is it so high above the ground? I wish it was Yoongi's red scooter instead..." I groaned, shifting uncomfortably on the bike.
"Yoongi? Who's Yoongi?" Taehyung asks, turning to look at me.
"Oh- my boyfriend.." I grinned at the thought of my cute sunshine, so Taehyung blinked awkwardly at my flustered expression and cheeky grin in silence.
"Oh, well, hold on tight. This isn't your boyfriend's mini-scooter," He shrugged, grabbing my hands to place it around his waist, but I loosened my grip a little since I didn't want to hold him.
"I'm warning you, hold on tight," Taehyung warned, slowly driving out of the garage. Tsk, I rolled my eyes.
"I'll be fi-IIINNNNEEEEE ARGHHHHHH!" I scream when he suddenly jerks forward at full speed. I think my heart just stopped beating!
"I told you," He chuckled, recklessly zooming through the driveway. My mind was everywhere, scattered. I couldn't move or budge when I sensed the danger of his speed. Too fast, he's too fast!
"Slow down!" I gasped, looking forward with my terrified eyes. He's heading toward the closed gate at full speed! THIS IS A SUICIDE MISSION.
"Trust me!" He smiles, accelerating the speed of his bike, causing my intestines to twist and turn in horror. I DON'T WANT TO DIE YET!
"We only met yesterday!-- We're gonna crash!" I screamed as we approached the main gate at a deadly speed. I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die!!!
"We won't!" He loudly honked at the guards by the gate, refusing to slow down.
"EOMMAAAAA!" I screamed when we got to the gate. I sucked in my breath, unconsciously gripping his leather jacket just as the gate slid open at the last second, and we safely slipped out of the mansion. Taehyung tore down the street at full speed, then slowed down to laugh at my petrified expression through his mirror.
"You doing alright?" He asks. My heart. My soul just left my body. Is he seriously laughing?!
"N-not o-okay..." I trembled and straightened my back while I rubbed away my tears.
"Ahahah, this is just the beginning," He shook his head and steered the bike into a different street.
"The beginning..?" I asked while staring at him through the mirror. Don't tell me...
"Yup, we have hours to spend, so hang on," Taehyung mischievously wiggled his eyebrows at me. Hours...? That was a few seconds, and I almost died. Hours?! I'll be crawling into my own grave!
"Oh no- you're kidding, right?! Haha, what a funny guy! Ha... ha... ha?" I uneasily chuckled at him, feeling a bit nauseous and turning pale at the same time when he kept on smirking at me through the reflection.
"Hold on!" Taehyung warned and ZOOM!
"HAJIMA- ARGHHHHHHH!!!! OH MY GOD! GOD, PLEASE SAVE ME!" I screamed, tightly holding on to Taehyung as he raced down the streets. IF WE CRASH AT THIS SPEED- I'LL TURN INTO A HUMAN JUICE AND SPLATTER ALL OVER THE ROAD! HOW IS IT EVEN LEGAL TO DRIVE AT THIS SPEED?!
"Whoooooh! It's so refreshing!" He chuckled. Refreshing my ass! I'm about to have a heart attack! IS HE MAD? HOW CAN HE CHALLENGE DEATH FOR ENTERTAINMENT!?
"PLEASE SLOW DOWN! HUEHUE! THIS IS WHY I PREFER YOONGI'S MINI RED SCOOTER! RED SCCCOOOOOTEEEEER!" I screamed my lungs out. I'm gonna die. Red scooter, please rescue me~!
