"Let go...," I groaned, trying to pull my hand away from him. Taehyung didn't say anything but dragged me out of the mansion.
"What are you doing?!" I snapped in confusion when he pushed me into his car. What the hell? We can't leave the mansion!
"Let me out!" I screamed angrily when he locked his car door to prevent me from leaving. He hastily leaned over to buckle my seat belt before starting the engine.
"YAH!" I screamed in shock when he slammed his feet against the gas pedal- causing the car to blast forward at full speed. This is way faster than he used to drive. What the hell?! Is he trying to kill us?!
"THEY WON'T LET US OUT!" I screamed in horror as we headed towards the closed gate. Before, they'd pull it open for him. Not now though!
"If they won't- then we'll die in the crash," He spoke in a cold tone as we zoomed closer and closer to the gate. I stared at the closed gate in horror. We'll really die if we crash into it. I panicked and grabbed onto the armrest in fear- three seconds, and we'll crash into it.
The guards stood calmly watching the car racing towards them at first, but they started to panic when Taehyung wouldn't drop his speed. Heart beating in fear, I watched the situation in fright. Will I die like this?! Right before we crashed the gate- the guards rushed to press the button, and the door slid open. We safely shot out onto the road the moment the door opened. I sat back in silence, pale and trembling. I couldn't focus on anything as I tensely gripped the seat in utter shock.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?!" I finally howled at him in rage. What the hell is wrong with him?! ARGHH! He didn't say anything but sped down the highway. I didn't know what to do because I was too afraid to speak, so I sat in the car in fright.
"Wae- wae?" I stuttered when I noticed Taehyung driving towards Yoongi's hotel. Why is he going there?! He parked in front of the hotel and quickly got off, dragging me into the hotel.
"HAJIMA!" I shrieked, desperately yanking my arm away from his grasp. He tried to grab my arm again, but I took a step backward to avoid his clutch.
"Stop being stubborn!" Taehyung finally bellowed, reaching out again, but I wouldn't let him touch me.
"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!" I bellowed in frustration. WAE? WHY WON'T HE LEAVE ME ALONE?!
"What's wrong with me?! What's wrong with you?!" He furiously snapped back at me.
"Sora?!" Yoongi appeared before me in confusion.
"Yoongi..." I turned to look at Yoongi, who was approaching us.
"YOU FUCKING DICKHEAD!" Taehyung turned to Yoongi and slammed his fist right into Yoongi's jaw. I screamed in horror when Yoongi stumbled backward in pain.
"Taehyung hajima!" I snapped, rushing towards Yoongi, but Taehyung caught my arm and yanked me backward. Yoongi's guard hurried toward him when a fight broke out between the top alphas.
"Get him!"
"Don't you dare!!" Taehyung threatened, wildly disabling the guards who tried to grab him.
"Don't touch him," Yoongi seethed in anger as he rubbed the blood off his lips. Oh no, he's hurt.
"Sir-"
"I said, don't touch him," Yoongi glared at Taehyung fiercely with his dark brown eyes.
"Yoongi-"
"What do you want?" Yoongi calmly confronted Taehyung's violent behavior.
"You. Dead," Taehyung spat at Yoongi. Yoongi suddenly launched forward- giving Taehyung an unexpected punch right in the nose. Taehyung released my arm and covered his nose in pain.
"Don't touch what's mine," Yoongi snarled, pulling me towards him. His voice was so dark and cold- it gave me literal chills. Just like the night he shot the chubby man. The fierce glare he gave Taehyung made my inside hollow with its ruthless evil.
"WHY ARE YOU SO FUCKING STUPID?! YOU'RE PUTTING HER IN DANGER OVER AND OVER AGAIN!" Taehyung angrily yelled, launching onto Yoongi. The impact sent Yoongi tumbling across the floor. Taehyung started punching Yoongi, but Yoongi pushed him away and rolled over Taehyung to disable me.
"H-hajima!" I stuttered, grabbing onto Yoongi's arm, but he roughly pushed me away and turned to punch Taehyung repeatedly. The staff and guests were crowding around us as the two of them wrestled on the floor.
"HAJIMA!" I screamed, pulling Taehyung away from Yoongi with all my might.
"Stay away!" Taehyung snapped, yanking his arm away from me.
"STOP IT NOW! I'VE HAD ENOUGH- YOU ASSHOLE!" I cursed as tears filled my eyes. My heart is aching in pain. How can they do this?!
"W-what?" Taehyung turns to look at me. He furiously locks his eyes with mine in shock.
"You heard what I said!" I yelled as tears streamed down my cheeks.
"ALL I DID WAS PROTECT YOU FROM HARM-"
"IT WASN'T HIS IDEA, YOU STUPID JERK! IT WAS ALL MINE! I WANT TO LEAVE, AND THAT'S MY DECISION! HE DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS!" I roared in pain as tears flooded down my cheeks. I can't even explain the amount of pain I'm in right now. I stood in the crowd, sobbing like a fool.
"Asshole... jerk...?" Taehyung scoffed at my hurtful words in disbelief.
"What decision...?" Yoongi questioned, struggling to get up with scratches on his face.
"DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW!" Taehyung confronted Yoongi in anger.
"What are you talking about?!" Yoongi snapped, pushing Taehyung- causing Taehyung to stumble backward. Taehyung got onto his feet and rushed towards Yoongi, but the guards decided to put an end to the fight, so they caught them both.
Everyone was staring at me, eyeing me up and down, gossiping, and judging my pathetic ass. Is this my life right now? I let out a heavy sigh before pushing through the crowd and quickly rushed out of the hotel. That's it. I'm leaving! I can't stand this anymore! I ran to the nearest bus stop and got off at the train station. Bought the ticket for the last ride for the night and left with nothing with me.
I didn't cry anymore as I sat by the window alone. I don't even know what I'm feeling at this state, so I stared at the total darkness outside the window. I'm numb, I guess? I'm glad I don't have a phone right now because I don't have to worry about people calling or tracking me. I got to Busan early in the morning, took the bus again, and made a long exhausting walk downtown.
I passed by the familiar park and then the familiar house with the red roof. It was cold, but not freezing cold. It makes me feel good to finally see the old wooden pole at the end of the street again or the crooked banner on the bookstore. I turn around the block and slowly walk up the slope until I finally reach a transparent metal gate. I reach through one of the gaps in the gate to feel the pot nearby until my fingers brush against a hard and cold key.
"Oh, it's still here," I chuckled while staring at the old silver key in my palm before unlocking the gate. Our home still looks the same, and standing before it made me smile a little wider. I wanted to cry with joy. I really miss home.
"They must be asleep," I whispered when I noticed the dark window on the first floor. I slowly made my way around the house until I noticed the stain on the window stool from me sneaking out at night to see Yoongi.
Smiling, I carefully pull myself onto the stool and reach for the metal bar above. After five minutes of climbing, I found myself on the small balcony again. I turn to look at the usual port glowing in the yolky light by the seashore. Ah~ this feels good. I quietly push the balcony door open and enter my small bedroom. The familiar scent and bed. Smiling, I opened my closet to find some of my clothes. I changed into it and went to bed.
Ah. I've been wanting this so bad. I feel so happy and safe here. Slowly, I dozed off.
I woke up the next morning when I heard cooking downstairs. My mouth watered when I smelt the savory scent of garlic. Eomma and appa must be awake. I slowly got off the bed and opened my door to sniff the air. The smell of freshly cooked food filled my nose, making my tummy growl in hunger.
"Eomma, what do we have for breakfast today?" I asked, groggily sitting down at the dining table. She suddenly gave out a loud yelp and turned to stare at me in shock.
"Wae- Why are you here...?" Eomma asked in shock with a spatula clenched tightly in her hand.
"I missed home, so I came back," I chuckled, filling my cup with water and drank it as eomma stared at me with her eyes wide open.
"Why didn't you tell us! Oh my god! I miss you!" She gasped, putting her spatula down before rushing to hug me.
"I miss you too," I smiled as eomma's usual flowery scent filled my nose.
"How did you get here? You aren't supposed-"
"I'll explain later eomma. Where's appa?" I chuckled as my mother observed my pale expression.
"He took a walk to the market to grab me some green onion- oh! He's back," Eomma smiled when we heard the front door opening. How will my father react? Will he welcome me like my mother, or will he beat the hell out of me?
"I brought you some-" Appa stopped dead when he saw me. He blinked a few times before turning to look at my mother, who was settling the food down on the table.
"-Garlics... too...," Appa finished his sentence... glancing away from me in confusion.
"Honey...?" Appa whispered while staring at my mother and glanced at me awkwardly.
"Hmm?" Eomma smiled, looking up at my father's baffled expression.
"I think I miss Sora so much- I keep seeing her around in our house," Appa scratched his head as he intensely stared at me as if he was expecting me to disappear.
"But Sora is here! What are you talking about?" Eomma laughs while staring at me and appa.
"What? Omo! MY SORA IS HOME?! I thought I was hallucinating!" Appa suddenly drops the bag of garlic and green onion in his hand. I laughed when he rushed toward me and pulled me into a crushing hug. I wrapped my arms around his shoulder as he picked me off the ground in joy.
"Aigo! I miss you! You lost so much weight! Didn't they feed you?! I'm upset!" He chuckled while holding on to me.
"Come on, let's eat breakfast," Eomma smiled after sitting down at the table. Appa sat down beside me, and we ate the food together. I did the dishes and went back to my room to get changed.
"-She must have gotten here by herself," I heard eomma talking through the gap between her bedroom door. I stopped dead. Why are they talking about me?
"I contacted them. She ran away again," Appa sighed quietly. I suddenly felt guilty. I'm such a disappointment. Later, eomma and appa had a long talk with me. I told them everything and how I didn't want to stay in Seoul anymore. They finally agreed to let me take some time off at home. I really miss Yoongi, but what can I do? Maybe it's better for us to be apart. Things are way too complicated now, and I'm tired of the drama. So, I stayed home with my parents for over a month.
I was walking back from the market alone after getting eomma some freshly made rice cake when I smelt something delicious from the kitchen as soon as I got to the front door.
"Eomma, what are you cooking? It smells so nice," I smiled while taking off my shoes at the front door.
"Where have you been all day?" She called from the kitchen.
"Oh, I stopped to help at ajumma's restaurant. It was a busy day," I chuckled while putting my shoes on the shoe rack. Oh? Those pair of shoes look familiar? Where have I seen it? I thought when I noticed the sneakers on the rack. I took off my jacket and accidentally dropped the box of rice cake.
"Aish! Pabo!" I scolded myself as I hung my jacket.
"Did you just realize that you're stupid?" A similar voice spoke from my right side. What the fuck. Wait, what?! I slowly turned to find a pair of dark brown eyes staring back at me.
No. No way. What the actual fucking fuck fuck is he doing here?!
