The room where Pikachu was confined was dark, save for the glow of the talismans that covered every corner, emitting a faint, purifying glow. Around him, figures moved cautiously, keeping a close eye on the strange being that had survived the battle with Yamata no Orochi. Among them, two familiar faces: Angel and Takako Uro, who watched attentively from a distance.
In the center of the room, the figure of an imposing woman stood out. The ancient Tengen, whose wisdom transcended generations, had been summoned by Uro to examine the phenomenon that Pikachu represented. Her countenance, serene and ancient, contrasted with the tension that filled the atmosphere. With a deep gaze, Tengen walked around Pikachu, her eyes analyzing him with precision.
"This being is an anomaly…" Tengen murmured, his words laden with an uneasiness he rarely expressed. "It's not completely a sorcerer, but it's not a common cursed object either. It's something new, a hybrid of both forces. And its power could unbalance much more than the balance of the cursed world."
Angel, visibly worried, stepped forward. "If it's an experiment, we can't save it? Or is it doomed to become a greater threat?"
Tengen didn't immediately respond. Instead, he raised a hand, and with a smooth movement, the talismans began to detach from Pikachu, floating in the air as the cursed energy surrounding it fluctuated. Pikachu, still unconscious, emitted small flashes of energy that sizzled on its skin, as if a latent storm was raging within it.
"What happened to this being was no accident," Tengen continued in a firm voice. "The two sorceresses interrupted its transformation into a cursed weapon, but something else happened. The curse within it fed off that interference, creating this… unstable mix of power."
Takako, who had remained silent until then, spoke in a somber tone, "If we can't control it, others will come to destroy it. The higher-ups of the jujutsu world are already aware of its existence. This could attract those who seek to take advantage of its power."
The tension in the room rose. Pikachu, still under the effects of the talismans' seal, began to make a faint sound, as if trying to speak, but its body was unresponsive. The flashes on its skin intensified, and Tengen took a step back, frowning.
"The curse is beginning to react," Tengen warned, his tone more serious. "It's attempting to break free, but this being's body is not yet fully prepared to contain such power."
Uro, watching Pikachu's movements, recalled the images before battling Yamata no Orochi. The true lightning had yet to strike, and the storm was far from over. He knew that what they had experienced was only the beginning, but the implications were far greater than he had imagined.
Suddenly, a blinding flash filled the room. The talismans vibrated violently, and a blast of cursed energy erupted from Pikachu's body. Tengen extended both hands, creating a protective barrier around him, while Angel and Takako covered their faces from the impact.
When the light faded, Pikachu was standing, albeit staggering. His body crackled with renewed intensity, but his eyes glowed with an unfamiliar darkness. He was not the same being that had fallen exhausted after the battle.
"That's it..." Uro whispered, afraid of what she was witnessing.
Tengen, without taking his gaze off the young warrior, uttered gravely, "It is not Pikachu that has awakened. It is the curse within him, taking form and consciousness."
Silence fell over the room as Pikachu—or what had begun to be Pikachu—moved slowly. The sparks surrounding his body were a hint of the uncontrollable power now flowing through his veins.
Suddenly, Pikachu's figure vanished in a fleeting flash, launching itself toward the door of the room at unimaginable speed. In the blink of an eye, he broke the seals that held him captive, escaping into the dark night.
"Stop him!" Tengen shouted, as Uro and Angel launched themselves after him.
But the creature that was once Pikachu was no longer a simple warrior. Now, he was a cursed entity, a force unleashed by the chaos and cursed energy that flowed within him. And as it disappeared over the horizon, the storm raged again, lightning lighting up the sky.
"The storm has only just begun..." Tengen repeated to herself, certain that what they had just witnessed was merely the prelude to a greater war, one that would challenge even the most powerful sorcerers and cursed alike.
Tengen, looking up at the sky, knew that the fate of that being would not be decided easily.
Pikachu, or what was left of him, would be the center of an imminent battle between the forces of the curse and the resistance of the sorcerers.
And everyone in the world of Jujutsu would feel the impact of the last bolt of lightning that was yet to fall.
