Sophia and Rachel stood outside the ICU, their hearts heavy with worry. Sophia comforted Rachel, "Don't worry, Mom will be okay. She's strong, she'll get through this."
As Sophia held her sister, her mind wandered back to happier times. She remembered their mother's bright smile, her infectious laughter, and the way she always made their days brighter.
The doctor's expression was solemn as he approached them. "I'm afraid the situation is more critical than we initially thought. Your mother has internal bleeding due to the accident, and her vitals are slowly reducing."
Sophia's heart sank, her mind racing with the implications. "What does this mean? Can you stop the bleeding?"
The doctor's face was grim. "We're trying, but it's not looking good. Her condition is deteriorating rapidly. To be honest, I've never seen a case like this before. We need a miracle to save her."
Rachel's eyes welled up with tears. "What can we do? Is there anyone who can help?"
The doctor hesitated before speaking. "There is one doctor who might be able to help. Dr. Max, a renowned surgeon with a reputation for performing miracles. But I must warn you, even he may not be able to save her."
Sophia's heart clung to the glimmer of hope. "Where is Dr. Max? We need to find him, now."
The doctor nodded. "I'll try to contact him, but I can't promise anything. Time is running out, and every minute counts."
Sophia and Rachel exchanged a determined look. They would find Dr. Max, no matter what it took. Their mother's life depended on it.
