Crashing On Me

Aiko Fujikawa was a busy girl as always. From morning to night, she had a full schedule. Her parents were never around so she had no problem with overprotective parents. In fact, she herself was her own parent. She always lectured herself, always kept a positive vibe until today. Her best friend of 17 years, barged into her apartment at 4 in the morning begging her to take him in. "Koko, please let me stay with you?" Keigo begged. "Tell me one good reason as to why I should let you." Aiko stated. "Well, first off baby bird, stop being so grumpy, and umm..." Keigo hums unsure. "As I see it, you have not a clue what to say, do you?" Aiko says grumpily. She hopelessly lets him stay, but on one condition, he has to stay out of her way because she has an art project final.

"Hey bird brain!" Aiko shouts at Keigo. "What is it this time?" Keigo asks, annoyed. Aiko stomps a little and halts in front of Keigo. She looks up at him and raises her right brow into a high arch. "Don't go knocking down everything with your dumb ass wings, alright?" Aiko states sarcastically. "Well shit, let me put them back on my back. Oh, right! I can't." Keigo sarcastically answers Aiko. Aiko looks at Keigo's wings and softly giggles. Keigo eventually breaks out of his stiff posture and laughs at Aiko. "I've missed you, dumb ass." Aiko says as she goes to hug Keigo. " Me too, I miss me too...Ow!" Keigo jokingly says as Aiko punches him in his left arm.

Keigo pulls Aiko into his chest and hugs her tightly while slowly inhaling her scent. "Of course I miss you too." Keigo states with a slight smile on his lips. He lets her go and they walk towards the kitchen. Aiko pulls out a stepping stool to help her in height due to her shortness. As she was about to take a step onto the stepping stool, she felt herself being lifted. She giggles and turns around to see Keigo lifting her by her waist, respectfully looking at the ground beneath his feet. "What are you doing? Hurry up." Keigo rushes Aiko. " Oh, sorry. There, put me down." Aiko says to Keigo. She goes to the table and puts the two glass plates down. She turns around and notices that Keigo is just standing in the corner of the kitchen. "I was joking when I said for you to stay out of my way, silly." Aiko says with a small smile.

"So, about your project Koko. Do you want my help?" Keigo asks. Keigo was genuinely interested in it considering he had always helped Aiko with her art projects before in high school. "Well, I do, but I also don't want it, because..." Aiko slowly starts to blush and looks away, making her words fade. " You know I can't hear you when you do that." Keigo takes a step towards Aiko and turns her to face him. She tries her best to avoid eye contact because she knows she would blush. Keigo slowly caresses her left cheek as he pulls her into look at him in the eyes. "So, does little birdie here want to tell me what's making her blush so hard or..." Keigo says teasingly to Aiko. Aiko moves her face away from his and looks at his chest then slowly moving her gaze down. "Why are you checking me out like that?" Keigo asks Aiko confusingly. Aiko softly chuckles to herself as she walks away to prep breakfast.

"I'll tell you after breakfast. Just promise me you won't get embarrassed." Aiko spoke softly. "Excuse me little miss know it all, nothing embarrasses me." Keigo says confidently. As the room returns to silence, they both stand arm by arm prepping the vegetables for breakfast, their arms softly rub each other. Keigo's wings softly jolts and twitches. He gets light body shivers as he looks at Aiko from the corner of his eyes. She seems too focused on the vegetables to notice that Keigo was staring at her. She then moves towards the fridge to grab the eggs and bacon. Keigo puts the veggies aside on the left counter and proceeds to help Aiko. Meanwhile, Aiko's phone rings. "Yes Mom? No, Keigo's over so I'm already awake. Love you!" Aiko says in a happy tone. "Thought your parents didn't care about you?" Keigo asks confusingly. Aiko giggles and slaps her knees in full laughter. "Kei baby, that was my aunt. I call her mom too." Aiko says trying to hold in her laughter.

After breakfast was done and they both finished cleaning up, Aiko tells Keigo she is going to go take a shower. Keigo just nods at Aiko and returns his attention towards the TV to look at the news. "And for today's biggest news" the reporter on the screen says in a breathy tone. "As we all know our biggest celebrity Hawks had confessed that he had someone in mind to marry. Even though it was a drunk confession, I believe it. I mean who doesn't?" the reporter questions. " We all know that Hawks has been single since his last relationship, and it's been 4 years since then. I wonder who this lucky person is?" the reporter looks at the camera questioning.

"Keigo? Hello?" Aiko calls out to Keigo from the bathroom. Aiko slowly steps out the door and notices that Keigo is very focused on the TV. She slowly walks towards the hallway closet wrapped in a small towel barely covering her small body. She hopes to herself that Keigo keeps his attention towards the TV. She reaches up to grab the longer towel, but she can feel the small towel start to slip off. In a swift movement she catches her towel on her body but let's go of the long towel making the other ones fall off the shelf. Before she could reach to catch them Keigo grabs them and hands one to her looking away. "Be more careful next time, kid" Keigo says in a lower tone.

"Well, if you heard me the first time I called for you I wouldn't be in this situation. Now would I?" Aiko responds and asks Keigo. Keigo looks at Aiko and his face turns red immediately. "Actually, it's not just you, it's a we situation." Keigo replies. He puts the other towels back up as Aiko proceeds back into her room. Keigo closes the door and leans his wings and back against the door and slides down to sit on the ground. Her honey sweet scent lingers in the air making Keigo feel some type of way. He has always liked her scent. It made him happy, safe, and many other feelings. This was different though, he felt hot, flustered, and he knew he needed to calm himself before anything odd happens.

He steps out to the patio to take a break. He looks up at the sky and thinks to himself. "Why does it have to be her?" Keigo questions himself. Meanwhile in Aiko's room she was struggling to sort out her emotions. She has not been that vulnerable to him since the last incident in senior year when he almost kissed her. She finds her black lacy undergarment and puts them on. She then quickly puts on her low-cut tank top and shorts and throws on her big sweater. As she walks out of her room, she calls out to Keigo "Keigo, where'd you go?". She hears silence, she figures that he had gone out to the patio. She looks at her phone and checks on Today's Big News to see what's new. After a little scrolling, she comes across news on Hawks the big celebrity.

"Well, what do we have here, hm?" Keigo whispers behind Aiko's left ear. "AH! What the fuck man? You scared the living out of me!" Aiko screams and yells at Keigo. She shows him her phone with news about him. He grabs her phone and turns it off and places it down on the counter next to them. "Don't worry about that kind of stuff baby bird." Keigo says to her leaning in closer to her teasingly. "Aw come on, I just want to know a little bit. Please." Aiko says pouting cutely. She grabs his index and pinkie finger with both hands and sways it back and forth. This was her way of getting what she wanted from him.

"Fine, I'll tell you a little about what's going on." Keigo says as his feathers shake outwards and behind Aiko softly pulling her to his side. "Do you remember my high school classmate?" Keigo asks. "Yes, the guy that is always yelling at you." Aiko replies. "Well, he was sad, so I went to his place and drank, and next thing I know, I'm being recorded, drunk." Keigo says with a slightly upset tone. "Do you remember the things you said that night?" Aiko asks. Keigo turns away from Aiko and looks down to the park nearby and sighs. "I told them I had a girl that I wanted to marry, and that I love her so much, and that she is my reason for living." Keigo says softly with a drunk love look on his face. "Dude, you look totally in love." Aiko says giggling. Keigo looks at Aiko slowly from head to toe and back up. He chuckles lightly looking at the floor then back up into Aiko's eyes.

He slowly approaches her making the space between them smaller. "It's a good thing I didn't say the name of the person, because I'd be in big trouble right now." Keigo whispers softly to Aiko. "Don't tell me it's your manager, she's always around you and about the same age." Aiko gasps and proclaims. Keigo stops for a second and starts laughing. "You think I'd fall for her? She's married." Keigo says trying not to laugh. "Yeah, that's why you'd be in big trouble, right?" Aiko asks innocently. Keigo looks at Aiko's lips and licks the bottom of his lips following with a smirk. "I like it when you're too innocent for your own good." Keigo says. "Oh! I forgot!" Aiko states. "About my art project, you wanted to help right?" Aiko asks Keigo. "Koko, I always help." Keigo says positively with a big smile. "Well then we need to go buy some stuff and I need to message my professor that I found my model." Aiko says happily.

They went to the Arts & Crafts store and bought some background drapes and extra things. As they were coming home it was close to lunch time. They decided to stop by KFC for some chicken because Keigo asked Aiko persistently over and begged her. When they got home Keigo put everything into Aiko's art studio room. Meanwhile, Aiko is in the kitchen getting lunch prepped. As they sat together at the dining table, they ate and talked about what they haven't told each other of yet. They brought up old memories and talked of their high school days as well as their stress. Keigo reached over to grab the last piece of chicken and hands it to Aiko. "What? Bird boy finally sharing after 17 years?" Aiko says, pretending to be shocked. "Well, I do it because I love you." Keigo sings to Aiko.
