The Unlikely Bond of Law

He comes out of the room and accompanies his friend Ahn Si woo.

Ahn si woo shocked," look look, its that beauty."

So hee walked in the gathering hall and everyone was stunned upon seeing such a beauty. She was making green tea for herself. Tae ho, wanting to irritate her said," ha-ha-green tea, no wonder you have bad taste in stuff.

So hee glanced and said," How many cups does it require for you to be this high on caffeine and just spit nonsense out of your mouth".

Ahn si woo spit the coffee out of his mouth upon hearing this and laughed in astonishment, "uhm-uhm-NONSENSE-Woah….she has some guts to say that".

Tae ho glared and slapped his head," try adding some poison in your coffee, no wonder it tastes so bad that you spitted it out the point u took a sip".

Ahn si woo mischievously laughed and Tae ho left in embarrassment and anger.

After the incident in the gathering hall, Tae Ho fuelled with anger whenever he saw So Hee. Her mocking words echoed in his mind, and he couldn't shake off the embarrassment and frustration. Determined to make her quit, he piled on extra work, hoping to overwhelm her.

"So Hee, since you seem to have so much energy for your witty remarks, I'm sure you won't mind taking care of these reports by tomorrow morning," Tae Ho sneered, dumping a stack of files on her desk.

So Hee looked up calmly, unfazed by his attempt to intimidate her. "Sure, I'll get right on it," she replied with a slight smile, her eyes challenging him.

Tae Ho gritted his teeth, annoyed by her calmness. "And don't forget about the presentation slides for the board meeting. I expect them polished and ready by this afternoon," he added, his tone sharp with irritation.

"So Hee nodded. "Understood. Anything else?" she asked, her voice steady.

Tae Ho paused, momentarily taken aback by her lack of reaction. "No, that'll be all for now," he muttered, turning abruptly and storming off.

As days passed, Tae Ho continued to assign her more tasks, each more demanding than the last. Yet, So Hee met every challenge, completing her work efficiently and without complaint. Her determination to prove herself only fuelled Tae Ho's frustration further.

The next afternoon, as So Hee was preparing a report in the conference room, Tae Ho entered, unexpectedly. He couldn't help but notice her focused look and the meticulous attention she paid to every detail.

"So Hee", Tae Ho began, his voice quieter than usual but still tinged with hostility, "You seem to be adapting well to the workload."

So Hee looked up, meeting his gaze evenly. "Thank you. I believe hard work and diligence are key to success," she replied calmly, her tone suggesting she was unaffected by his attempt to unsettle her.

Tae Ho clenched his fists, momentarily at a loss for words. "Just make sure you don't let your... wit interfere with your professionalism," he muttered finally, before turning to leave.

So Hee watched him go with a small, knowing smile. She had no intention of backing down, not from the workload and certainly not from Tae Ho's attempts to unsettle her. She was there to stay, and she was determined to prove her worth, no matter what.

After the meeting, Tae ho entered the office and saw So hee and Ahn Si woo's team arguing.

Tae ho confused, "what is going on, do u guys have no work that u have so much time in your hands to argue."

So hee frustrated," Tae ho, this case was supposed to be ours, but they're saying it's theirs now."

Tae ho turns to Si woo, "What happened?"

Si woo smirks, "Apparently, there was a mix-up. This case landed on our desk."

Tae ho angrily replied, "This case was assigned to us first. Why wasn't I informed?"

Before the argument escalates, someone from the chief's office enters the room. "Listen up, both teams will handle this case. Whoever makes the most progress will take the lead. Clear?"

Tae ho gritting his teeth, "Fine. Let's see how this goes."

The two teams reluctantly agree to collaborate. Tae ho and Ahn Si woo, the leaders, decide to take charge of the investigation.

At the crime scene, Tae Ho and Ahn Si woo inspect the area. They exchange sarcastic remarks while working.

Si woo mocking, "this dead body looks like you, the only difference is that u are breathing. Be happy that u have me, otherwise who would be friends with a living dead person."

Tae ho sarcastically, "Yeah, and you're the only one who tolerates me, right?"

Si woo laughed, "You know it. Remember high school? You barely talked to anyone back then, too."

Tae ho smirked, "And you were the one dragging me into trouble. Some things never change."

Si woo grinning, "Hey, someone had to make sure you had a life outside of books and cases."

Tae ho laughed and replied sarcastically," oh-my-god, thank you so much, now if u are done can we get back to the case"

The investigation continues with both leaders putting their differences aside momentarily.
