Command 1

Clad in skin tight bronze armour, Eleven strolled towards the clinic.

It was still early and the sun had only set. After freshening up in the bath for an hour, he'd decided to check on Eighty's progress.

With the whole incident of reincarnating in the future and replacing a soul, they'd agreed that whenever Eleven had time he would stop by the clinic to try and figure out the cause.

Arriving, the door was pretty much like always. He wondered what it's use was if it always remained open, in the end he decided not to ask. Stepping in, he found Eighty laying on the bed face up, viewing some kind of data on the screen that floated above her.

* Cough*

"Found anything yet?" Coughing intentionally to gun her attention, he asked.

"Ohh! You're here."

Willing the screen Infront of her to disappear, she shot off the bed, sitting on it's edge.

"There's still nothing." Caressing her short curly black hair, she answered.

Eleven glanced at her for a moment, before asking the question he'd been holding on asking for the past four weeks.

"You woke up before Cade, right?"

Hearing her say she was a Reaper, he doubted it first, seeing that every Reaper's eyes would change colour to a bright yellow, but soon recalled there being eye lenses. Inspite that, waking a year before him, she must've already awakened an ability, yet Eleven hadn't seen her use any during the four week duration.

"Yeah, why?"

"Why haven't you awakened an ability yet?"

She was conscious of everything about him in this new body, but the only thing he new about her was that she was a doctor. Although he didn't care much about her life, it was better not to be too oblivious.

"Who said I haven't?"

Eleven was almost at a loss for words, she never said she didn't have one, in reality he never asked, we'll no time like the present.

"What is it?"

"Low regeneration and healing."

"You mean you can grow another limb if you lost one? And what do you mean by healing?" Eleven asked, amazed by her ability.

"I don't think I can yet, for now I can only regenerate minor tissues.

Healing is it's other use , that's why I'm a doctor now. Before awakening I was a data analyst."

"How does that work?" Eleven asked, more curious.

"You've already experienced it, my blood is capable of healing any wound, and replacing damaged tissues."

What the hell kind of ability is that? Doesn't that means as long as you carry her blood you're basically immortal? Isn't that too op? Eleven pondered, he didn't know what to think, if she really had that kind of ability, why would the organisation leave her unguarded like that, she could be the most precious asset in the entire organisation maybe even the solar system.

"Not saying that you're weak, but with that ability, doesn't that make you an asset anyone would kill to have ? Why aren't you assigned guards."

"Yeah it could, if we were in the past, but this is the future, or did you forget? there's already technology that can replace damaged tissue, generating new organs and many more."

This kid must've well been a shut in, or maybe he was just too young Eleven lampooned, before changing the topic.

"Do you think that there's already time travel, or maybe they were testing a time machine, causing my soul to time travel."

"You've probably watched too many movies, humans and vexes have yet to even reach light speed let alone time travel.

Infant there's a 0.000001% possibility of a time machine, because there's nothing in this universe that has enough mass to create the gravitational pull that's required to bend spacetime for time travel.

Eleven mouth went a gap listening to her, he couldn't understand a word she was saying, data analyst huh? Guess I was lucky I meet her before anyone else, or maybe it was fate.

"Do you think maybe a higher existence did it for fun?" Being an anime fan, he had a wild imagination.

"Well we can't be sure, but a higher existence chances of interfering or even existing are lower than the time machine."

"I thought you said a time machine was impossible?"

Raising her glasses, she pinched her nose bridge, before looking at Eleven with disappointment.

"I never said impossible, I said it's possibility were low, after all the universe is infinite, so there can never be a 0.0% in theories."

Eleven could've sworn she was speaking an entirely different language, forcing him to skip the topic.

"I'll leave those theories to you then." He said, before his whole personality turned dead serious. "Have you figured it out yet?"

"No, but I have a few speculations."

Like Eleven, Eighty didn't like the fact that someone could just order her around and she couldn't do anything to refuse.

Since the moment she became aware of it, she had tried every means to try and supress the effects or remove them completely, but without the knowledge of it's cause she couldn't manage it. After all she wasn't really a doctor and so human body wasn't in her field of expertise, deciding to put it on hold for the moment. It didn't really affect her lively hood as she was mostly coupled up in the clinic.

But when Eleven approached her with the same problem, she decided to dive back onto it, with a live test subject, it was bound to be easy, atleast she hoped it would.

" I think when the genes were being altered, they somehow added a command into our subconscious, making it impossible to refuse someone with a higher rank than you."

"How does that even work?"

"I assure it's not impossible, but we can't lean on that, if they had somehow added a command, you could have remembered it.

The next would be using some kind of transceivers, and I'm more inclined to believe in this one."

"How so?"

At first, Eleven didn't wanna include anyone in what he planned on doing, meaning he still didn't want a partner, but seeing as to how she already new about his situation and the fact that he was relatively knew to almost everything in this timeline, he decided to use her or maybe get used.

"You already know how they work, you see."
