Jeremiah 4 vrs 1: "If thou wilt return unto me: O Israel, saith the Lord, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove"

Leonardo continued reading his paper as soon after his dad leaves. He knows that whatever news his father had left him was of paramount importance.

"The Fall of Civilisation": By Ed Newman.

When Leo first saw the title, he was confused. 'Was this some type of publicity stunt, a doomsday alarmist or was there actually something of value in the piece of writing?' he thought.

Curiously, Leonardo read. His eyes dilating and expanding as he absorbed the information written in the piece. Pausing for a bit, he pondered at the implications of the paper.

The paper talked about the bill that was being proposed in the counsel.

The description of the bill being proposed from the Author's perspective sounded horrible. The Author described the bill as inhumane and unjust.

The bill simply put, is about the use of force on those without a mark. According to the Author, the bill is meant as a way for law enforcement to arrest and punish those without marks, irrespective of their age, gender or race.

The Markless, as described by the Author, will in fact have no human rights, they will not be allowed to buy or sell anything, nor have an identity and be considered illegal occupants by the Federation.

' The mark is in fact quite useful in terms of increasing the computational ability of individuals, as a form of identification and most importantly, the infarencing and use of magic' leo thought as he continued reading.

Leonardo himself was a firm supporter of the use of the mark because he simply loves magic. The benefit of not only increasing man's capabilities in terms of memory, understanding, communication, and scientific research was also a factor, but his main factor for loving the mark was the use of magic.

Magic is simply the manipulation of the physical world through the spirit world through spirit frequencies, and the mark helps individuals more easily find and tune into spiritual frequencies.

Individuals then place laws through speech into the spirit realm and those laws in-turn create effects in the sub atomic realm, which affect the physical realm. It takes a lot of computational ability to manipulate each sub-atomic particle to create desired effects, with most people with the mark only able to create simple fire, water and dirt and maybe a light breeze. Only a selected number of people can create larger effects with the leader of the Federation being the only human alive to induce rapid cell regeneration.

Leonardo did not approve of the measures that the goevernment is taking in order to popularize the Mark, but he believed it to be just an over exaduration on the auther's part about the implamntation and popularization of the mark.

Further more, he believed that the bill as time passes would be further reviewed and corrected before it is passed into law. All bills of the fedaration take 2 years after proposal to be reviewed,it's a law that a was passed on 1500 years ago.

Finishing the piece,Leo got off his chair and walked to the kitchen to place hisdirty dish into the sink. His mom , Mary, was busy cleaning the kitchen.

Passing next to her, he could not help but notice a little black book on the counter. It had no title, nor any markings that indicated what it was.

"hey mom, what is that?" Mary paused what she was doing and looked at Leo, her deep silver eyes staring into his golden brown.

'Its just a book your dad bought for my birthday, years before yo guys were born' smiling, she tugged a strain of her hair behind her right ear showing the black gemmed earring. She smiled

Playfully she added' these earrings also came with the book, doesn't someone have to get ready for school, I believe a certain Rose will be red with anger if someone arrives a minute late'

Leonardo blushed a bit at the mention of Rose, before blotting off to his room to take his school gear.

Abruptly opening his bedroom door, his eyes drifted towards the center of the room to his bed. His bed is surrounded on all sides by book shelves made of a type of transparent material, a thick crystal like structure made the sides, with the shelves made of a thin glass looking object.

The books inside this structure, looked as if they were floating. A simple square bed layed in the center.

Passing through the gaps to his bed, Leonardo quickly walked towards the school section of his book shelf and took the books for his lessons. Taking his leather brown back which was on the floor, next to his bed, he stuffs the book and hurries out the door.

"love you Mom" he calls out as he exits the door not hearing his mom's response.

Upon exiting, Leo looks ahead and grimace. Seeing the egg shaped metallic silver floating shuttle, he knows that he is late, and he is going to get either an ear full or a slap.

Like a man on death-row, he walks to the ship, watching with awe and despair as the side of the ship peals off like a fruit, disseminating and coagulating into a flight of stair, floating as if they were held by some sort of invisible hand.

Leonardo could not help but marvel at the beauty of the shuttle.' A B-10-hopper, the pinnacle of science and magic. '

Before Leo could continue in his musing, an annoyed voice called out to him, making him hurry inside.

Welcoming Leo was a place of magic, blue crystal like object float in the air giving the space a sky like blue hue, the floor is layered with a silk like fabric, with strings protruding out creating a grass like effect.

A soft hum could be heard from the ships engine, with the grass like fabric swaying to each hum, creating the illusion of wind blowing.

At the end of this scene stood a beautiful caucasian girl, with soft blond hair with green high lights at the tip, her eyes a fierce blue that seemed to contrast to her slightly terned skin.

She is wearing a light white dress, with white roses arched into the fabric, each rose seemed to be breathing with the hum of the shine. A light yellow gaseous light flowed out of the centre of each rose, flowing up and permeating the air, creating a yellow like haze which seemed to mystify Rose's beauty.

Roses hands were crossed, with her doll like face married with a frown. Leonardo did a quick double take, stopping just at the entrance knowing that if he continued walking, he would be in a world of hurt.

" I'm sorry for being late" he smiled and walked forward towards her. Stopping in front of her, he stretches out his hands for hers, with a hesitation he slowly unfolds her hands and rests then in his.

Staring deeply into her blue crossed eyes, he could not help but smile, his heart beating quickly as they stay there for a moment. As this was happening, the humming of the ship increased in pace, the rhythm matching the quicking heartbeat of Leonardo, almost as it could sense him.

"Miss, Sir, please sit down, we are about to leave soon" the soft voice of the A.I system of the ship woke them out of their trance. Letting go of each other's hands, both individuals walked to the edge of the ship, where two egg shaped pods emerged from the white surface of the ship.

Sitting into their pods, they looked at each other, Rose with a frown, and Leonardo with a smile. "Hey, Leo, Next time you are late I am really going to punch you." Rose said this in a sweet sing song tone, and closed her eyes, her pod closing immediately.

With a grin, Leonardo nodded his head, and closed his eyes too.

With both parties eyes closed, the interior of the pod change to a deep black color, and still silence permeates the hall, a sharp contrast to what was a minute ago.

Outside the ship, a loud siren like noise could be heard, each sound with a five second delay. The silver color of the ship turned pitch black, almost as if there was a deep dark hole waiting to swallow everything around it.

In a blink of an eye, the hole was gone, along with the siren like sound, the chirping of birds could be heard, the sun's heat and warmth radiates off the ground, and the wind blew, as if they were trying to erase the anomaly that had just happened, as if nature itself was trying to forget what had transpired.
