New World

Day 82

It has been three days since I built my base. I have decided to go back to the grind. This time, I'm not gonna be focusing on leveling my Defense or Attack to wield better gear. There's only eighteen days left so I don't have enough time to level either areas enough to wield diamond gear.

Because of this, I decided to focus on Trinkets and Baubels which will boost my stats or give me powerful traits, for example, Potion Rings.

Potion rings are rings that give you a infinite amount of time with a potion effect as long as you're wearing it. Rings of Strength gives you increased Strength, Rings of Regeneration gives you Regeneration, etcetera,

I'm also gonna focus on Enchantments, in Rlcraft. There a lot of new enchantments. There are a lot of powerful ones that I will need in the future so it's better to get started now.

Now that my path has been decided, I needed to grind. I opened my Atlas and went to the nearest Battle Tower on horseback to create mass genocide, good thing that gore isn't activated in this world.

Once I arrived at the tower, I cleared it from the bottom up until I reached the Tower Golem. Unlike my first time in clearing a battle tower however, I decided to take on the Tower Golem, not fairly of course. I promptly exited the tower and started pillaring up a few blocks away from the perimeter of the tower

After I reached the top, I saw the Tower Golem standing still like a statue. I used a bow to fire a Teleport Arrow at it, swapping places with it causing it to fall off the tower while I teleported to it's spot.

Teleport arrows could be crafted by replacing the flint in a arrow recipe with a Ender Pearl. This would allow me to cheese almost all Battle Towers that aren't inverted, which would speed up the process of getting stacked.

Inverted battle towers are a whole different story however. Inverted Battle Towers are submerged into the ground with the Tower Golem at the very bottom so I was going to avoid looting this type of Battle Towers for efficiency's sake.

The loot I got from this one tower was already plentiful, tons of Glowing Ingots, Diamonds, Gold, and other materials so skipping the Inverted Battle Towers aren't that much of a loss.

Anyways, enough talk. Time to get back to MASS GENOCIDE.

The days quickly rolled by as I cleared Battle Tower after Battle Tower, I even found some Potion Rings in the Battle Tower's that I cleared. The most important one was the Ring of Regen though. No more do I have to sit on the side bandaging myself up for two minutes straight to get back to full health.

The Ring of Regen was undoubtedly very valuable. I also used a Ring of Resistance alongside my Regen Ring which decreased ALL the types of damage I can take by twenty percent. The combination of these two rings made me really hard to kill even when I'm caught off guard.

I've also managed to put Advanced Protection on my Iron Armor which was already very good, I could've put the enchant on Diamond Armor because of how rare the enchant is but there's no way I'm getting my Defense to level sixteen before the World Warp.

Day 93

Only a week left before I get warped to another world. I have done all that I could to increase my survivability but what I really need is a trump card, something that I can use when I'm on the verge of dying. I'm not willing to bet that I'll still respawn when I'm in another world.

So that's why I'm right now in front of a Gorgon Lair. The lair I was about to enter was dilapidated and old at first glance. The stones were crumbling and covered in moss, it seemed like it would collapse in on me the moment I step inside.

Now before I went inside, I wore a blindfold which gave me Blindness, the Blindness effect doesn't actually make you blind though, it just decreases your range of vision for some reason so I still managed to enter the Lair without complications.

Gorgons were basically the species of that Medusa belonged to. If I look at them without a blindfold, I turn to stone. They also drop their head if I die which allow me to turn others into stone, no matter how strong they are.

A head only has three uses though and the structure itself is pretty rare so I need to save my three uses because for all I know, maybe I'm not coming back to the Mi-

I was interrupted by a Gorgon rushing at me. Although the turning to stone thing was the Gorgon's main weapon, it could still inflict Poison so I didn't dare to let my guard down.

I dodged it's first attack and countered with a swing of my sword.

The Gorgon managed to dodge and orient itself again preparing to strike once more. I knew that it would just keep dodging so I went on the offensive this time.

I rushed it and and pulled out a Iron Greatsword instead of my one-handed saber.

I swung the Greatsword towards the Gorgon, the sheer length of my weapon making it impossible for the Medusa lookalike to dodge with it's current speed.

Because of this, It had no choice but to watch as my Greatsword cleanly bisected it into half, turning it to smoke.

I promptly picked up the head and explored the Temple for anymore loot. There was nothing however, even when I mined around I saw nothing so I gave up and went back outside.

Day 94 - 99

I've spent the rest of these days stockpiling rare materials like Diamonds and Gold to pawn off once I get teleported to the new world.

Having some currency in another world will be very important.

I also crafted and enchanted backup Armor and Weapons just in case my current loadout breaks in the heat of battle.

Day 100

I have grinded and pushed myself since day one. I have done all that I could. And now that there is one day left before I leave, I went back to where everything started.

My first base.

The place was still as messy and unorganized as I left it. There were chest's lying around randomly all over the place, the floor was a mess of planks, and the furnaces still had coal in them.

I didn't take myself to be the sentimental type to be honest with you, but I don't know how long I'm gonna be away from this place or if I'm gonna die out there so I want to go back to where my struggles started.

It wasn't even that long when I last lived in this place to be honest, only two and a half months or so. I feel like it has been a lot longer than that though, I have progressed a lot.

Anyways, I want to have one last night in this place before I go.

And so, that's what I did.

I fell asleep inside my old sleeping bag.

Once I woke up, I was greeted with a panel right in front of me, I wasn't as puzzled though as when that first happened to me because I knew what was happening this time.

[ Are you ready? Yes or No ]

" Yes " I spoke for the first time in what felt like forever. I haven't talked for a long time because there was simply no need to.

[ Well then. Strap yourself in cause here we go ]

Time seemed to slow down as all the accomplishments I made flashed before my eyes.

My vision went black once again as I felt a familiar feeling of weightlessness.

" Ah shit, here we go again "
