Chapter 101: Precision Explosion

Betty soon saw Bruce Banner being brought in, surrounded by a group of muscular green men.

"Bruce!" Betty shouted excitedly, and Banner quickly responded:

"Betty, are you okay? Did he give you any trouble?"

"No, I'm okay, but his target is you..."

"Don't worry, Betty. I won't let him succeed."

"I believe you..."

The two of them exchanged words as if they were parting at a wedding. They looked at each other from a distance and spoke lovingly. Banner even wanted to step forward but was stopped by the green-skinned men.

The Leader, witnessing this, said in a mocking tone, "Look, I am still a good person. At least you are reunited now."

But Banner and Betty ignored him, looking at each other affectionately.

"Betty, wait for me..."

"Okay, I'll wait for you, Bruce."

The Leader, feeling irritated at being ignored, ordered, "Pull them away!"

The green-skinned men immediately forced Banner onto an experimental table and restrained his hands and feet. Betty was also pulled aside and locked up. She struggled and shouted:

"No! What are you going to do to him!"

The Leader, relishing his victory, looked at Betty and said, "That's too much, Betty. I have been waiting for this day for a long time. Now, I finally have Banner."

Betty felt extremely uncomfortable, as if someone had taken her man. She immediately looked at Banner and shouted:

"Bruce, look at him! Where is the Hulk? Let them taste the power of the Hulk!"

"Uh..." Banner hesitated.

"What's wrong? Speak, Bruce!" Betty shouted in confusion.

The Leader laughed loudly and said sarcastically, "Betty, haven't you noticed yet? He can no longer become Hulk."

Betty was stunned, "What's going on?"

"Hulk... something went wrong temporarily," Banner replied dully. Hulk now seemed autistic, unwilling to come out, completely different from before when he was always ready to emerge when provoked.

"It's okay, Banner," Betty said supportively. "Even if you can't do it anymore... I still love you."

Though this sounded odd, Banner was still moved. "You are so kind, Betty," he said.

The Leader, irritated by their exchange, ordered, "Silence them!"

"Uh... uh..."

The room finally fell silent, and the Leader approached Betty's cage. He leaned down, his green head looking a bit comical, but his words were sinister: "Watch, Betty. I will kill Banner with my own hands in front of you..."

"Uh! Uh... Uh uh..."

Betty's muffled cries for mercy went unheard. Just then, a voice interrupted,

"Don't you know that freedom of speech is the most basic human right?"

Both the Leader and Betty turned to see a charming black figure at the experimental table. It was Felicia, who had just sneaked in.

Thanks to the Leader's dull-witted green-skinned men, Felicia had bypassed the outer patrol defenses easily.

"Black Cat?" The Leader recognized the recent upstart superhero from New York. He sneered, "Banner, I warned you about involving others. What happens now is on you."

"Hmm..."

"Sorry, I happened to be there, so I didn't want Dr. Banner to come alone," Felicia explained casually. She used her alloy claws to tear off the restraints on Banner, freeing him.

Banner removed the gag from his mouth and asked, "Okay, Felicia, what do we do next?"

"What? Of course, it's up to you, Dr. Banner."

"Me?" Banner was startled.

"Yes, of course," Felicia, unaware of Banner's current predicament, said confidently. "Watch your Hulk take everyone down and get us out."

"..."

Boom! Soon, Felicia was also captured, tied up, and thrown into a cage next to Betty.

The Leader smiled at Banner, "I thought you had some grand plan, Banner. But is this it? Has Hulk made you stupid?"

Banner felt ashamed. He hadn't expected Felicia to walk into a trap. Ultimately, it was his fault. If Hulk hadn't suddenly stopped coming out, things wouldn't have turned out like this. He felt guilt, self-blame, and an increasing sense of powerlessness. Without Hulk, he seemed to be nothing.

The Leader ordered his subordinates to replace the damaged instruments and bring in new ones. Despite his super brain, his physical fitness was unimproved, so he relied on his subordinates for heavy tasks.

The experimental table was quickly reinstalled, and Banner was restrained again. Though the Leader needed Hulk for his experiments, he had prepared special sedatives for Banner.

The Leader placed his hand on Banner's chest, saying, "Now, you are finally mine, Banner."

Betty watched with wide eyes. Felicia, tied up next to her, asked worriedly, "Are you okay?"

"No, I'm not okay," Betty said seriously. "My head feels a little heavy."

Their reactions caught the Leader's attention, making him proud. He had chosen a good angle for Betty to see everything clearly, hoping to break her spirit.

"Banner," the Leader said, "Don't worry, I will help you bring Hulk out again. After all, I need him for my research."

Betty's head felt heavier.

Suddenly, there was a "bang!" as the newly brought instruments exploded. The Leader, caught off guard, was blown away and fell to the ground.

Felicia, seeing this, excitedly waved her fingers and said, "It's done!"
