Chapter 100: Black Cat and Black Widow

Despite the Leader's recent actions going unnoticed by many, they attracted the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D. Superhumans and superpowers have always been a key focus for S.H.I.E.L.D., and after some investigation, Fury decided to send Black Widow, who had been idle since being fired by Tony, to conduct an infiltration mission and gather more intelligence.

Coincidentally, Natasha and Felicia both chose the same entry point for their infiltration, leading to an inevitable collision.

When Natasha first noticed someone approaching, she assumed it was one of the Leader's men and admired the thoroughness of the Leader's security. She hid more carefully, but as the figure moved directly toward her, she became alarmed. Could she have been discovered?

Natasha, excited by the potential challenge, prepared to counterattack. As the figure stepped into her attack range, she leapt out, brandishing the short thorns at her waist, aiming to neutralize the enemy in one swift move.

Felicia, just arriving, was startled. Confused, she instinctively slapped out, her body at peak sensitivity from a day's training with Black Superman.

During the scuffle, the two women saw each other's faces.

"Why is it you?" they exclaimed simultaneously, but it was too late to withdraw their attacks. Felicia retracted her claws just in time, while Natasha diverted her short thorns, resulting in Natasha getting slapped and Felicia being thrown to the ground.

The sight of the two women tangled together was visually appealing, but Natasha was not in the mood to appreciate it. Feeling the sting on her cheek, she looked at Felicia in disbelief.

Felicia, embarrassed, apologized, "Uh... I'm sorry. You scared me, and I couldn't help it."

"Why are you here?" Natasha demanded, deciding to focus on the mission.

Felicia, not wanting to reveal too much, countered, "Why are you here, Natasha? Aren't you Tony's secretary?"

"I'm a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, here on a mission," Natasha explained, deciding to share some information as Felicia didn't seem like an enemy.

"So, you were spying on Stark before?" Felicia asked, curious.

"Yes, with so many superhumans around Stark, we couldn't ignore it."

"And now?"

"Hey, I started asking you!"

"Okay, okay. I'm here because of the Leader," Felicia said, explaining Betty's kidnapping.

"So, we're not enemies now, right?"

"Um... can you get off me first?" Felicia asked, feeling awkward about their position.

Natasha got up, and fortunately, they confirmed they had no conflicting goals and could even cooperate. Well, mostly.

"You couldn't find your own spot?" Natasha asked.

"This was the best spot," Felicia replied.

"But I was here first!"

"Don't sweat the details."

Natasha sighed but tolerated Felicia's presence. After all, the spot was hidden and offered a good view of the Leader's manor. She glanced at Felicia, who was focused on the manor, and couldn't help but notice her slender figure and charming cat features. Even as a woman, Natasha found her attractive.

Felicia noticed her stare and asked, "What's wrong with you?"

Natasha quickly retracted her hand, clearing her throat. "Nothing. You said Hulk would cause a distraction, and then you'd sneak in, right?"

"Yes, what's the problem?"

"Look over there," Natasha handed Felicia a telescope. "The Leader is back, and that person surrounded by Hulks—it's Banner, isn't it?"

Felicia was speechless. She didn't expect Dr. Banner to be so helpless. Shouldn't he be showing the power of the Hulk in such a situation? Men are such big liars!

Natasha smirked, "Kitten, it seems the only one you can rely on now is me."

Felicia glanced at her. "Did you know your face is swollen?"

Natasha's face froze.

Despite their banter, they understood they had to rely on each other. Especially Felicia, who unexpectedly became the main force.

"Do you have any trump cards?" Natasha asked.

"Trump card...," Felicia pondered. Although Black Superman warned Banner about Betty's potential danger to push the Hulk further, he also trusted Felicia to handle the situation.

This battle was crucial for Felicia's future. It would determine if she would merely survive or become one of the Seven Giants of the Justice League like Gwen.

"As for the trump card, it's just the two of us," Felicia said.
