Ice Demon Hunter
As soon as the voice fell, the Ice Demon Hunter touched his waist, and a small axe shot out, spinning and flying toward Forseti, the axe blade flickering with cold light.
Forseti's warhammer swung, releasing a burst of holy light.
"Clang!"
With a single clanging sound, the small axe was deflected by the warhammer.
Judgment!
Forseti swung the hammer again, and as the golden light emanated, an energy warhammer composed of holy light and flames shot out, heading straight for the Ice Demon Hunter's forehead.
The Ice Demon Hunter hurriedly dodged. Although he avoided a fatal blow, his shoulder was still hit by the energy warhammer, leaving a severe wound.
"Ah!" The Ice Demon Hunter screamed, looking frightened, but didn't stop. As he stepped back, he threw another small axe.
Forseti deflected the small axe again and quickly closed the distance.
Like all trolls in World of Warcraft, the Ice Demon Hunter had remarkable regenerative abilities.
It is said that some trolls, to enlarge a particular part of their body, will cut themselves to encourage regrowth from the severed limbs...
However, the regeneration ability of trolls only works on ordinary wounds. If a wound is contaminated with a special power, such as being burned by fire, the regeneration ability is greatly weakened or disappears entirely.
Forseti's hammer contained the power of fire, and the Ice Demon Hunter, as a frost troll, was particularly vulnerable to fire.
As a result, the Ice Demon Hunter's wound did not heal quickly, and one arm was rendered useless.
Forseti closed in, and the Ice Demon Hunter immediately engaged with a small axe.
But the Ice Demon Hunter was weakened and no match for Forseti.
Holy Light Strike!
Verrigan's Fist exploded with light and heat, knocking down the Ice Demon Hunter's axe. Flames lingered, burning his hands.
The Ice Demon Hunter screamed and fled.
Trolls are tall, with an average height exceeding two meters, making Forseti's short stature a disadvantage in catching up.
Forseti had to release several Judgment attacks, and multiple energy warhammers hit the Ice Demon Hunter in succession.
"Boom!"
The Ice Demon Hunter was blasted away, and a page of paper slowly fell.
Forseti picked it up to check.
He obtained [Devotion 14.44] and [Disguise: Ice Demon Hunter].
[Disguise: Ice Demon Hunter]
[Description: Disguised as an Ice Demon Hunter, it will automatically be released after one day...]
Seeing this, Forseti was startled for a moment, then a little surprised.
The Ice Demon Hunter and the Frost Giant look quite similar. At least in Jotunheim, the image of an Ice Demon Hunter is much safer than that of an Asgardian.
With the face of an Asgardian, encountering a Frost Giant means certain death, but disguised as an Ice Demon Hunter, he might pass undetected.
However, there was only one disguise, and it lasted only one day, so it must be used at a critical moment.
Forseti exited the training space, held a hammer in one hand and a cane in the other, walked out of the cave, and embarked on his journey to the first outpost...
Although he knew the direction of the first outpost, unfortunately, the straight path was blocked by a cliff.
The cliffs in Jotunheim were high and wide, with slippery and steep walls. He had no choice but to go around.
However, the length of the cliff was beyond Forseti's imagination, and after walking along it for half a month, he did not see any convergence.
Additionally, Jotunheim was full of ice and snow, and the landscape was extremely monotonous. It was dark all year round, making environmental recognition very low.
Forseti could initially tell the direction, but after walking for half a month, the constant white landscape left him disoriented.
"Shouldn't I be lost..." Forseti murmured as he trudged through the snow-covered land.
"Roar—"
At that moment, a roar came from a distance, causing Forseti to stop in his tracks.
An Ice Bear's roar!
He suddenly became tense.
Are there Frost Giants around here?
"Roar!"
Another roar, clearly approaching.
Forseti hurriedly looked around and found a hidden boulder. He ran behind it to hide.
"Hoo-ho!"
The roar grew even closer. It sounded like there was only one Ice Bear.
Forseti thought for a moment, then cautiously peeked out.
"Roar!"
Not far ahead, he saw an Ice Bear roaring and chasing an ice-blue creature resembling an elk.
Forseti breathed a sigh of relief.
It turned out to be a wild Ice Bear on a hunt.
Jotunheim had few creatures, and Forseti worried about the lack of food. With two beasts appearing, he quickly decided: he must secure them both.
He hurriedly followed behind the Ice Bear, waiting for the right moment.
As the mount of the Frost Giants, the Ice Bear's speed was naturally not slow.
To keep up, Forseti drank another bottle of Swiftness potion and ran with all his strength for two or three minutes, barely keeping up.
"Roar—"
"Crack!"
Finally, the Ice Bear pounced and successfully grabbed the elk-like creature. Its huge mouth closed, and sharp fangs bit into the elk's neck, spilling blue blood.
The hunt concluded, and the Ice Bear lay down to rest, tearing the elk's body with its claws, ready to eat.
Forseti followed and stopped at a distance, waving his staff to transform a nearby boulder into a rock golem.
Driven by him, the rock golem slowly circled to the other side of the Ice Bear and then swung its stone fist.
Throwing Stone!
Wrapped in a faint holy light, the rock golem's stone fist turned into a projectile and shot out.
"Bang!" The flying stone hit the Ice Bear, causing it to shake.
"Roar!!" The Ice Bear, interrupted while eating, was furious, roaring and charging toward the rock golem.
The rock golem swung its fists, launching several flying stones at the Ice Bear. But the Ice Bear's thick hide absorbed most of the impact.
Seeing the Ice Bear about to pounce on the rock golem, Forseti immediately pointed his staff.
Judgment!
An arrow of judgment shot out from the top of the staff, striking the Ice Bear and causing it to whimper.
The Ice Bear then turned around and roared at Forseti.
As soon as it turned, the rock golem launched a fierce attack again, frantically releasing and throwing flying stones. Dozens of stones hit the Ice Bear in succession.
Although the Ice Bear had thick skin, it couldn't withstand the barrage of flying stones.
Dozens of throwing stones later, the rock golem's body was mostly depleted, and the Ice Bear smashed it to pieces.
"Crash!" The gravel fell.
Forseti took the opportunity to wave his staff continuously, firing several trials. But the Ice Bear was still alive and charged toward him, roaring.
"Roar!!"
The Ice Bear roared loudly, closing in.
Forseti was taken aback and quickly slammed his warhammer into the ground, releasing a burst of holy light.
Sword of Justice!
An energy longsword composed of holy light and flames pierced from the ground and impaled the Ice Bear in the belly.
