The Evil of Odin

Under the splendid Golden Palace, Asgardians waved their whips, driving teams of alien laborers to carry building materials for the palace, a metal resembling gold.

"Hurry up!" an Asgardian overseer yelled, whipping a laborer. "Don't linger!"

Forseti and the others were stunned and then stepped forward to ask, "What is going on here?"

"There's not enough manpower, and the Golden Palace needs to be rebuilt. His Majesty conquered a planet and brought the people here to work for us," the Asgardian overseer explained, cracking the whip again.

He didn't use much force, but as an Asgardian, even a light whip was enough to cause most beings pain. Fortunately, these laborers were resilient; otherwise, many would have died.

The scene was reminiscent of when the trolls enslaved the mortals of Vanaheim, and Forseti was taken aback.

Diops pointed at the building material the laborers were carrying: "What is this, gold?"

"Why else would it be called the 'Golden Palace'?" the overseer laughed.

Ander couldn't help but say, "How can gold be used as a building material? It's so soft."

"It's not pure gold; it's an alloy with other components," the overseer explained. "This metal is a special product of a planet His Majesty Odin conquered. He found it suitable for the Golden Palace and took the planet by force. Coincidentally, the inhabitants are also well-suited for labor."

At that moment, a laborer suddenly burst into rage, rushing towards the overseer and shouting, "Plundering our treasures, enslaving our people, Odin and you are all demons! Demons!"

The overseer snorted coldly and lashed out with all his strength.

"Boom!"

The whip, wielded with all the power of an Asgardian, shattered the laborer's neck, killing him instantly.

The other laborers widened their eyes in anger but dared not speak.

The overseer threw the whip again and said, "The strong eat the weak; this is the eternal truth. Asgard has been very tolerant of you. Don't engage in such stupid and futile resistance again!"

"If you're a little more respectful, you can even live more decently than before... You claim to be a civilization of ten thousand years, but who in the universe has heard of you? Now it's different. Your race's name has a prefix that resounds throughout the universe - the servants of Asgard. Who doesn't know the name of Asgard?"

After all, the overseer beckoned to another overseer not far away: "Hey, come and help me clean the floor."

The other overseer reluctantly walked over, raised his hand, and released a few water jets to wash away the blood: "It's done."

The atmosphere was quiet for a while.

Forseti asked, "Where is His Majesty now?"

"Just returned from your mission?" the overseer asked casually.

"Yes."

The overseer turned around and pointed: "See that door? Until the Golden Palace is completed, His Majesty will temporarily summon his subjects there."

The group nodded and walked over.

After a while, they reached the place and were admitted by the guards to the hall where Odin was.

As soon as Forseti entered the door, he suddenly stopped, staring with wide eyes.

At that moment, the pointer of holy light suddenly emerged from the holy deed, pointing straight ahead... and at the end of the pointer was the king of Asgard sitting on the throne, Odin!

Odin was judged evil by the Sanctuary!

"Forseti, you are back," Odin smiled.

Forseti quickly composed himself, as if nothing had happened, and stepped forward to salute: "Your Majesty."

Skurge and the others also saluted respectfully.

Even if Odin was deemed evil, Forseti couldn't do anything. He still had to bow his head honestly and couldn't confront him.

However, Forseti's mood was complicated. When Cul was still the king of gods, the Sanctuary had judged Cul as evil, which was one of the reasons Forseti had refused to join Venerable Sky Hammer. He had always believed that Odin was more righteous than Cul.

Now, Odin had come to power and was also marked as evil. For Forseti, this was a slap in the face.

But thinking carefully, Odin had a history of conquering the Nine Realms. How could there not be innocent blood in such conquests?

This might be just the beginning. With Odin's future killings, perhaps one day, the Holy Light would react to him as strongly as it did to Dormammu...

"I heard you dealt with the Kree on Earth?" Odin asked.

"Yes." Forseti collected his emotions and explained the situation on Earth.

Odin smiled: "You have done well. Asgard is the master of the Nine Realms. The Kree need to understand this."

"Has the Kree been cleared from Earth?" he asked again.

"Yes, Your Majesty. All the Kree bases on Earth have been destroyed. But they still have a base on the moon."

"I know that," Odin said slowly. "Your next mission is to drive away all the Kree on the moon... No, kill them all."

"The arrogant and ignorant Kree need to pay with blood to understand the respect they should have towards the Aesir!" Odin said sternly.

"Go back and rest for a while. I will arrange tasks for you soon."

...

A few days later.

"Kacha Kacha." Shilut sat on the ground eating stones, occasionally running to Forseti's side to take a look.

Forseti was lying on the table, drawing. After a while, he completed the drawing of a statue with a bird's head and a human body, showing a strong Egyptian style.

Due to his need to transcribe the holy deeds and carve statues of demons, his artistic skills had improved significantly over the years, and his drawings had become quite decent.

"What do you think, Khonshu?" Forseti asked, holding up the blueprint.

Khonshu's voice came from the statue: "Yes, future statues should follow this design."

Forseti couldn't help but ask, "Why do you have such a preference for the bird's head image? Not just you, but other Egyptian gods and even Apocalypse."

Khonshu didn't explain much, just said: "I've already been a human; it's good to change my image."

Forseti put away the blueprint and continued to infuse the Terrigen crystal with holy light.

"Knock, knock." There was a knock on the door.

Forseti got up to open the door and saw an Einherjar standing there.

"Did His Majesty Odin have an order?" Forseti thought Odin was going to arrange for him to attack the Kree on the moon.

The Einherjar shook his head: "No, it's Princess Hela who wants to see you. Please go over quickly."
