Hela in a Skirt

Forseti was stunned for a moment and then quickly said, "Oh, I'll go right away."

Afterwards, the Einherjar left, and he returned to his room to change into formal clothes.

Before leaving, Forseti touched Shilut's head and then pointed to the statue of Khonshu on the table: "Don't eat Khonshu."

"Buzzing," Little Shilut nodded obediently.

Khonshu: "..."

The Golden Palace was not yet completed, so Odin and Hela temporarily lived in a courtyard near the construction site. Although this courtyard was not as grand as the palace, its layout was quite intricate and could be regarded as a palace in its own right.

When Forseti reached the front hall, the guard, having been notified, let him in and said, "The princess is in the back garden."

"Thank you."

Forseti walked along a small winding path and arrived at the back garden after a short while, where a scene of grass and trees unfolded before him.

"Oww!"

Before seeing Hela, he heard a wolf howl. Then, a majestic black wolf leaped from not far away. Its eyes were bright, and its body exuded a temperament that was completely different from ordinary wolves—the temperament of a wolf king.

This wolf was, of course, Fenris.

Fenris approached and sniffed Forseti, its eyes showing a glimmer of recognition. Clearly, it sensed that Forseti was familiar.

Forseti reached out and touched it. Fenris took a slight step back but didn't resist much, gradually adapting, and finally lay on the lawn, letting Forseti stroke its fur.

However, as a natural gigantic monstrous wolf with the soul imprint of Lubers, Fenris' fur felt very coarse, almost like steel needles.

In fact, if measured by Earth standards, Fenris' fur would be much harder than steel.

So Forseti didn't want to touch it again after a few strokes.

When choosing between Fenris and Shilut, Forseti had initially liked Fenris for its fluffy fur. But as Fenris grew, its fur became rough, unlike Shilut's smooth skin.

Forseti looked up after retracting his hand and was momentarily dazed.

Not far ahead, a figure in a dark green dress was walking along the garden path.

The lush grass on both sides swept across her skirt, as if integrated with it.

"Your Highness, you..." Forseti didn't know what to say for a moment.

Hela smiled. "Didn't you ask me if I wore a skirt before? How is it? Does it look good?"

"Uh... it looks good." Forseti touched his nose and put his hand away. "Your Highness, you should wear this more often."

Hela usually appeared in uniform, presenting herself as a warrior, which often overshadowed her feminine side.

In many cases, her beauty in uniform felt aggressive, a contrast to the gentle nature typically associated with skirts.

However, it wasn't a contradiction.

Apparently, aesthetic senses don't offset each other but can complement and enhance each other, at least in Hela's case. The skirt did not diminish Hela's unique temperament but added another layer of charm.

Seeing Hela in a skirt for the first time, the sense of contrast brought by this change made Forseti feel as if he had opened the door to a new world.

Hela pinched the skirt and turned around. "But I don't like this. Wearing a skirt is too troublesome. This is the only skirt I have, and my mother made it for me."

Mentioning her mother made her expression drop a little.

Forseti changed the subject and asked, "Your Highness, I heard you awakened your divine power? What is it?"

"Self-healing," Hela said.

Forseti nodded. According to her performance in the movie, Hela's divine power was indeed self-healing and very powerful. Even a severe abdominal injury could heal instantly.

The two chatted for a long time in the garden. Forseti introduced the history and customs of Midgard to Hela, and Hela shared some anecdotes about the gods of Asgard, such as Tyr's shaving skills and Brunnhilde's early love stories.

"Are you going to the moon?"

Forseti nodded. "Yes, His Majesty will soon order me to lead an expedition to clear out the Kree on the moon."

"This should be the first time you've led an army alone," Hela said.

Forseti: "It's just a Kree base."

Hela: "Father will probably let you take over 100 people to the moon... I asked Hermond, the Kree are not weak on the moon, and there seem to be some special entities in their base. Be careful."

...

The day after meeting Hela, she returned to her uniform and set out on an expedition with Mjölnir and the Fenris Wolf.

The Golden Palace was still under construction, but Odin's journey of conquest had already begun. As the Asgardian gods expanded their realm, planet after planet fell under Asgard's dominion.

Forseti, like Hela, became a general in Odin's conquests.

Half a month later, he received a summons to visit Odin.

"Your Majesty," Forseti saluted.

Odin nodded and stood up. "The Kree are still entrenched on the moon and claim it as their ancient territory—we need to correct them with the truth."

"I've given them a chance, but they squandered it. When you go this time, do not accept any surrender. Completely wipe out the Kree base, understand?"

In the end, Odin patted Forseti on the shoulder. "I will arrange for you ten teams of 120 people and a Thunder Boat. I trust you will not disappoint me."

A Thunder Boat?

Forseti couldn't help but be moved.

The Thunder Boat was Asgard's special warship designed for space travel. When he collected the bodies of the gods before, it was the Thunder Boat that brought them back. It could travel vast distances swiftly.

On the second day after accepting the arrangement, Forseti brought a document signed by Odin to the Sea of Marmora, where the Thunder Boat was docked.

The Thunder Boat still looked unremarkable, like an ancient wooden boat from Earth.

If future humans saw it, they would never believe that this was a spaceship capable of navigating in space.

A team was already on the ship. They were the shipping team, responsible for operating and managing the Thunder Boat, not combat personnel. They addressed Forseti as "captain," not "commander."

The remaining nine teams of fighters soon arrived, including some old acquaintances like Skurge, Ander, and Diops.

After all the personnel boarded the ship, the shipping team conducted a departure inspection of the Thunder Boat. Finally, the captain approached Forseti: "Captain, the Thunder Boat is ready for departure."

Forseti nodded and looked at the distant stars. "Target the moon, let's go."
