The Power of Fenris

After Laufey departed, Odin remained silent for a moment, deep in thought.

He then brandished the Spear of Eternity, declaring firmly, "Warriors, follow me to Jotunheim!"

"Heimdall," he called out.

"Your Majesty, the geographical advantage of Jotunheim gives the Frost Giants the upper hand..." Heimdall's voice echoed.

"Take us to Laufey's stronghold in Gasthofone Castle in Jotunheim. There, we shall end this millennia-old war," Odin interrupted.

Heimdall paused briefly before responding, "Yes, Your Majesty."

Soon, a brilliant beam of rainbow light descended from the Bifrost, enveloping Odin and the Asgardians before disappearing with them.

As the rainbow hues faded, Forseti looked up to find a magnificent ice castle not far ahead.

Rising hundreds of meters, the castle was crafted from dark blue ice, resembling a dormant beast sprawled across Jotunheim's icy expanse.

Gasthofone Castle!

Known throughout the Nine Realms, it served as Laufey's palace and the ancestral home of the Frost Giants' royal lineage.

Inside the castle, Laufey, striding down a corridor, suddenly turned, his pupils narrowing. "Odin, daring to chase me to my castle!" he muttered.

At that moment, a Frost Giantess in a flowing gown approached. "Laufey."

"Fabti, how are our offspring?" Laufey inquired.

"I have just fed... Are the people of Asgard chasing us outside the castle?" Ria nodded, asking.

"Yes, but Odin is weakened now, and here in Jotunheim, I can handle him," Laufey replied.

Fabti insisted, "I will fight as well."

"You have just given birth," Laufey protested.

Fabti smiled, "I am no mortal. Besides Odin, you must contend with Hela, now wielding half of Asgard's power. You cannot face both alone."

After a moment's thought, Laufey nodded. "Very well."

"Boom—"

A thunderous boom resounded outside, causing the castle walls to tremble faintly.

Laufey took a deep breath. "Warriors of Jotunheim, follow me to meet the enemy!"

Thus, within the heart of Jotunheim's icy domain, Asgardians clashed with Frost Giants once more.

Leveraging their environmental advantage, the Frost Giants' combat prowess surged, yet Heimdall from distant Asgard dispatched several waves of reinforcements.

Inside and around Gasthofone Castle, it became a battleground where thousands of Asgardians and Frost Giants clashed. The once magnificent ice palace soon crumbled into ruins, as if withering away.

Odin faced off against Laufey, while Hela confronted Fabti.

With Grimir's demise, the few remaining tamed ice beasts of the Frost Giants were set loose to assail the Asgardians.

Among these, one ice beast stood out for its massive size, dwarfing its kin, its roar echoing across the sky.

"Roar—"

However, as this ice beast appeared, a colossal black wolf pounced from the side.

The wolf's claws, tinged with a faint shadowy light, sliced across the ice beast's hide.

This black wolf was none other than Fenris.

Though the ice beast boasted tough skin and thick flesh, Fenris, being a natural giant mutant among asgards wolves and imbued with the soul imprint of the Wolf King Lubos, possessed razor-sharp claws.

Fenris swiped, leaving deep gashes in the ice beast's flesh.

"Roar—" The wounded ice beast roared, wheeling around to swipe its massive claws, stirring up a frigid gale.

Despite its size advantage, Fenris was smaller, granting it superior agility. It deftly evaded the ice beast's strikes and occasionally sank its fangs into vulnerable spots.

Soon, the ice beast bore bruises, cuts, and bite marks from Fenris. In contrast, Fenris showed no obvious signs of injury, only panting heavily.

"Ow—"

Fenris howled triumphantly and lunged again at the ice beast's back.

This time, battered and bleeding, the ice beast failed to shake Fenris off. The wolf sank its shadow-infused fangs into the beast's neck.

The ice beast lost its balance, crashing diagonally to the ground with a final, piercing roar. "Roar... roar..."

It thrashed weakly but succumbed as Fenris tore into its neck, fangs meeting bone with a metallic crunch.

Standing atop the fallen ice beast, Fenris howled into the sky, proclaiming victory.

Hearing the wolf's victorious howl, Forseti dispatched his immediate foe and turned to witness the spectacle.

The Wolf King Lubos was renowned among World of Warcraft hunters for its shadowy attacks, devastatingly sharp.

With Lubos's soul imprint and over a millennium of growth, today's Fenris far surpassed its movie depiction, its prowess unmatched.

In the films, even the Hulk barely overcame Fenris. Now, bigger and stronger, if the Hulk faced it anew, the outcome remained uncertain.
