[ Betrayed Dormammu]
Nierdi keenly sensed the malevolent presence of the distant will, causing her to hesitate momentarily before speaking: "Dormammu, Lord of Darkness, it is I, your humble servant Nierdi, who summons you."
"The Sorcerer Supreme?" Dormammu quickly recognized her, his voice tinged with anger. "You were the one who destroyed one of my avatars last time!"
Nierdi humbly replied, "Indeed, it was due to our misunderstanding of your greatness. Please forgive our ignorance, for we are but insignificant creatures orbiting Earth with narrow perspectives, unable to perceive your true glory..."
Listening to her string of praises, Dormammu's rage abated somewhat. "So, have you now realized the error of your actions?"
"Yes," Nierdi continued earnestly, "though I alone grasp this truth. Most humans remain blind to your greatness, dismissing me as a lunatic..."
"The Supreme Lord of Darkness, Dormammu, this world desperately needs your enlightenment. Please come forth and let Earth join the Dark Dimension!" Nierdi beseeched.
Dormammu, long coveting Earth, responded, "I share your desire, but your ancestor, the mage Agamotto, erected a formidable magic barrier around Earth. Even I cannot breach it."
"If you wish me to come, you must dismantle this barrier. Can you accomplish this?"
"Without a doubt. Great Lord of Darkness, I believe you will soon grace us with your presence," Nierdi affirmed.
Dormammu chuckled darkly. "Excellent! Let us proceed."
With that, energies from the Dark Dimension began to breach Earth through the dimensional gateway Nierdi had prepared.
In moments, a shadowy figure of immense evil materialized before Nierdi.
"At last, this beautiful planet is mine!" Dormammu proclaimed, surveying his new domain.
Growing in size and power, Dormammu's form eclipsed that of a mortal, his essence exuding potent dark magic.
"Nierdi, what have you... wait, what is that in your hand?" Dormammu's attention shifted abruptly to an artifact Nierdi now held—a magical eye with an emerald gem embedded within it.
The Eye of Agamotto!
Green light burst forth from the Eye, unleashing an unstoppable force that reversed the damaged magic circle, restoring it to full strength.
As the circle activated, it acted like a blade severing the connection between Earth and the Dark Dimension, dividing Dormammu's form into two incomplete entities.
"Agh!" The severed portion of Dormammu howled in agony as it was forcibly separated from its whole.
Nierdi wasted no time. Golden-red magic tendrils erupted from her hands, ensnaring Dormammu's incomplete form.
"I didn't expect the great Dormammu to be so easily deceived," Nierdi remarked with a smile.
Dormammu's severed form struggled against the magical bindings, enraged. "You deceived me!"
Undeterred, Nierdi tightened her grip. "Save your energy, Dormammu. This form of yours is but a fraction of your true power."
Terrified, Dormammu's severed entity demanded, "What are you planning to do?"
"I intend to absorb your power," Nierdi declared coolly. "Even a fraction of the Lord of Darkness's might is enough for me."
The magical chains surrounding Dormammu's form twisted like a meat grinder, grinding him into oblivion.
"No!" Dormammu's severed form screamed in despair.
In moments, Dormammu's consciousness and essence dissolved into pure magical energy, which Nierdi absorbed.
As the malevolent energy infused her, Nierdi felt the weight of years fade away. Her aged form rejuvenated into youth, though her hair inexplicably turned silver.
