After witnessing the confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union in a New York clothing store, Forseti sped towards the Caribbean Sea. Though he missed the Aral Sea's destruction, he arrived just in time to witness Professor X's injury and Magneto's subsequent blackening.

Currently, things progressed smoothly; the Cuban Missile Crisis was averted in time, and no mishaps occurred.

From the shore, Forseti observed the infamous scene of the submarine's retrieval.

Notably, as Magneto pulled the submarine, the Eye of Reckoning observed energy ripples on his body fluctuating between five and six layers, indicating unstable power levels. At its peak, this sixth-tier strength approached that of the highest humans, surpassed only by the Ancient One and rivaling Thor in Asgard.

However, the energy levels seen by the Eye of Reckoning reflect output rather than combat prowess, making direct comparisons inaccurate. Despite Magneto's sixth-tier status, his ability's nature means he could be vulnerable without metal and likely outmatched by Thor in combat.

Could he potentially steal the Mjölnir? Forseti briefly entertained the thought before dismissing it. Even if Magneto managed to steal Mjölnir using his abilities, he would not harness its true power. In his hands, Mjölnir would be little more than a heavy hammer, weighing a mere 40 pounds and insufficient for defeating Thor.

Forseti continued observing silently.

As expected, Magneto retrieved Sebastian Shaw's submarine but faced an attack by Shaw's men, who summoned a tornado. The plane subsequently made an emergency landing in a precarious state.

Immediately upon landing, Magneto tore into the nearby nuclear submarine, seeking shaw, his adversary. Mutants aligned with Professor X and Shaw converged around the submarine.

Simultaneously, the American and Soviet naval fleets monitored the situation, exchanging views and planning their responses.

"It appears these mutants are provoking us," remarked the US military commander. "They aim to disrupt global peace, and we cannot allow it."

"Indeed, the US and Soviet Union are in lockstep," affirmed the Soviet representative. "I've briefed the Kremlin, and Comrade Khrushchev will act appropriately."

For both superpowers, the sudden emergence of mutants was an unwelcome surprise, possibly linked to the Cuban Missile Crisis or exacerbated by it.

By focusing on these mutants, the two powers could divert attention from their own tensions, potentially diffusing the Cuban crisis.

"It's quite the picture," remarked the US commander to the Soviets. "We've received orders to eliminate these mutant criminals on sight and propose joint action to showcase human unity."

"Comrade Khrushchev agrees," responded the Soviet counterpart. "We are authorized to eliminate these mutant threats."

Meanwhile, Professor X and Magneto united to confront Sebastian Shaw.

Magneto emerged from the submarine with Shaw's body, addressing the mutants around him. "Today, our internal strife ends!"

The mutants turned to him, concern evident in Charles' eyes. "Eric?"

Eric gestured toward the US-Soviet naval fleets, declaring, "Our true enemy is humanity! I sense them aiming barrels at us, driven by base fear and united in their desire to destroy us!"

Charles, breathing heavily, placed a hand on his forehead and began emitting brainwaves.

Eric glanced at him. "Go, Charles. Verify whether I'm right."

Charles swiftly sensed the intentions of the US and Soviet forces, his heart sinking at the realization.

Indeed, as Eric warned, the US and Soviet forces had unified to destroy them, despite the presence of a human sympathizer.

"Fire!" The US and Soviet forces simultaneously ordered their cannons.

"Boom boom—"

Cannonballs, missiles, and artillery shells thundered from both fleets, blotting the sky as they headed towards the shore, intent on eradicating the mutants.

Most mutants recoiled, but Eric remained composed.

With a sweeping gesture, he unleashed a powerful magnetic force, halting the missiles mid-air as if ensnared in an invisible quagmire.

Then, with a slight twist of his hand, he redirected the suspended missiles towards the US and Soviet fleets.

"Eric, we can't do this!" Charles' expression contorted in distress.

Ignoring Charles' plea, Eric continued manipulating the missiles, redirecting them towards the human fleets at sea.

"Stop, Eric!" Charles rushed forward, attempting to intervene.

However, Eric wore Sebastian Shaw's helmet, shielding him from Charles' mental influence. Meanwhile, Charles and his allies struggled against their metal-restraining anti-G suits.

Realizing he couldn't halt Eric, Charles gritted his teeth, intensifying his brainwave broadcast.

"Help us, help humanity... unknown benefactors, I know you possess such power and trust you'll aid us." Charles' plea reached Forseti nearby.

Forseti recognized Charles' voice.

Prepared to act, Forseti hesitated due to the confusing situation.

Eric forcefully repelled Charles, Hank, and others. In this altered timeline, it seemed Charles' original fate of paralysis might not come to pass.

Regardless, Forseti resolved to act. As a compassionate observer and spiritual being, he refused to witness Magneto provoke a war between mutants and humanity by attacking the US and Soviet fleets.

Almost simultaneously with Charles' plea, Forseti activated the Wrath of Vengeance and Seraph, their holy wings breaking the sound barrier.

"Boom!" The sonic boom echoed like thunder.

Eric, stunned by the sound, saw a golden rainbow streak across the coastline and materialize near the nearest missile.

In a flash of light, a blond young man in a suit and leather shoes emerged from the rainbow. With a flourish, he released two blazing chains of fire, hurtling towards the nearby missile.
