[Death of a Supergiant]

As the defeat became more prominent, more and more soldiers in Thanos' Legion chose to flee like Corvus Glaive. Hundreds of small spaceships flew out of the temple, hastening their defeat.

Thanos' Legion had virtually disintegrated.

Thanos also realized this. When Carol attacked him, he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with his sword, raised his head, and roared, "Detonate the temple!"

"Countdown to self-destruction, ten, nine, eight..." The sound of the spaceship's self-destruction echoed, and the time was less than ten seconds, immediately disrupting the rhythm of the battle.

Compared to the Asgardians, the soldiers on Thanos' side were more panicked. Most did not have strong physical defenses, and it was almost impossible to survive the self-destruction of the temple.

This army had already disintegrated, and Thanos clearly no longer needed them, as the countdown to self-destruction quickly approached its end.

"Boom--!!"

Starting from the energy core, the huge Templar spaceship was immediately engulfed by a violent explosion.

The flames and shock waves tore apart the structure of the spaceship sharply, turning it into a ball of fire and debris that burst into space, lighting up an insignificant star in the nearby universe.

In the chaos of the explosion, the supergiant teleported to Thanos, panting and saying, "I'll send you out of here."

Thanos looked at her, who was seriously injured, and his expression softened slightly: "You..."

"I've been looking forward to this day," the supergiant smiled.

Immediately, she raised her hand and released a dazzling blue light, surrounding Thanos as the surrounding space fluctuated.

The shock wave of the explosion had not yet subsided. Seeing that Thanos was about to be teleported away by the supergiant, Forseti immediately summoned the Holy Spirit Warhorse.

After the Holy Spirit Warhorse appeared, Forseti suddenly thought of something. He turned his hand and took out a bottle of potion that looked no different from clear water from the Sanctuary space—it was the Potion of Punishment.

He gave the Potion of Punishment to the Holy Spirit Warhorse and then stretched out a finger.

The warhorse spurted out, sharply compressing into a golden energy group composed of holy light, and flew to the vicinity of the supergiant and Thanos in a blink of an eye.

The supergiant sensed the threat of this group of holy lights. She maintained the teleportation of Thanos with one hand and opened a dazzling blue light shield with the other, trying to resist.

"Boom!!" The light group transformed by the Holy Spirit Warhorse exploded with a bang, and a golden circle of light burst open instantly, engulfing the supergiant and Thanos.

Compared to the self-destruction of the Templar spaceship, the explosion range of the Holy Spirit Warhorse was smaller, but the lethality within the explosion range was far greater, even for Thanos and the supergiant.

When the holy light dissipated, the supergiant's arm that had opened the light shield had disappeared, and her body was severely injured, with torn wounds revealing wriggling internal organs trying to regenerate.

But it didn't take her life immediately, and Thanos' teleportation wasn't interrupted.

"Allow my death..." said the supergiant weakly.

"I allow it," Thanos said, clenching his fists.

With his voice, the supergiant's eyes gradually dimmed, and some blue light gushed out from her arm again, slowly slipping down.

Thanos didn't notice that during the explosion of the Holy Spirit Warhorse, some imperceptible cool liquid splashed onto his skin with the violent explosion.

Due to the protection of blue energy, these liquids did not cause him serious damage like the explosion but unknowingly changed the condition of his body.

Under the vision of the Eye of Reckoning, Forseti could clearly see that the sins on Thanos' body turned into a gray color after a surging surge—this showed that the Potion of Punishment had taken effect.

The sin of Thanos had been transformed into a special lethal cancer by the power contained in the potion, which would kill him in the near future.

Forseti breathed a sigh of relief but still rushed towards the supergiant, trying to interrupt the teleportation and behead the two on the spot.

Although the sin cancer caused by the potion could kill Thanos, it would take some time, and characters like Thanos needed to be killed as soon as possible to avoid future troubles.

Hammer of Justice!

"Boom!" With a loud bang, the Sulfuron Warhammer almost shredded the supergiant.

However, Forseti's expression changed. After killing the supergiant, the teleportation energy wrapped around Thanos did not disappear but continued to flicker, exuding more and more intense sacred fluctuations.

He quickly turned the warhammer, raised the Sulfuron Warhammer with both hands, and smashed it hard towards the blue energy—another Hammer of Justice.

Carol also arrived, and two photon blasts bombarded Thanos.

"Boom—"

The Sulfuron Warhammer and the Photon Cannon caused the blue energy to fluctuate violently, but in the end, it failed to penetrate this layer of resistance, causing damage to Thanos himself.

What's the situation? Divine intervention?

This seemed to be a bit of divine intervention, or divine intervention plus hearthstone teleportation... The supergiant had died, but the teleportation on Thanos was still continuing, maintaining a strong defense that was difficult to break through.

The self-destruction of the Holy Spirit Warhorse had clearly broken through the barrier of blue energy; otherwise, the Potion of Punishment would not have taken effect on Thanos.

But the Holy Spirit Warhorse had already been used, and it was impossible for Forseti to summon it again immediately.

He and Carol attacked the blue energy again, but the result was the same—the teleportation continued.

The blue energy flickered more and more rapidly. Thanos looked at the two coldly, his voice low: "Asgardians, and Kree..."

Carol frowned. "I'm not a Kree."

Thanos continued: "One day, you will understand that I am the destiny of the universe."

As soon as the words fell, the blue energy wrapped around him and disappeared, leaving only the embers of the temple echoing nearby.

Carol looked at Forseti: "He escaped, what do we do next?"

Forseti frowned and was silent for a long time.

The forces of Thanos were indeed eliminated, and the army was completely destroyed, but Thanos himself ran away, which made Forseti feel depressed and doubtful.

Just like the situation in the first fight, there seemed to be a force of destiny behind Thanos, allowing him to always slip away at critical moments.

But the good news was that Thanos didn't get away unscathed this time. The Potion of Punishment had already taken effect, and the unstoppable cancerous transformation would soon swallow his life.

Maybe it won't be long before the purple Titan would die painfully in the wasteland of the universe.

"I left a curse of death on him, and even if he escapes, there is not much time left," Forseti said slowly.

"Of course, I will also let Heimdallr search for his traces in the universe. As long as there is a chance, I still hope to cut off his head with my own hands."

...

On a desolate planet, a blue light suddenly flashed in the air.

Immediately after hearing a muffled groan, a burly figure fell from the blue light and collapsed onto the rocky ground.

"Huh...huh..." Thanos lay on the ground, gasping for breath.

At this moment, he seemed to notice something. He raised his arm and looked at the tiny wounds scattered across his purple skin, blood staining the dust.

Looking at these tiny wounds, Thanos frowned.

As a powerful Eternal who had awakened for the third time, his body had incredible resilience, and the recovery of ordinary injuries was visible to the naked eye.

However, these insignificant wounds on his arm had not healed, and this had never happened before.

Maybe I'm just too tired...

Thanos shook his head, dispelling the distracting thoughts in his mind. He stood up from the ground and walked toward the distant wasteland without saying a word.
