King thoughts

King Felipe watched his daughters, Leonor and Sofia, with a mix of pride and concern. He knew that Leonor was deeply in love with Varghese, but he also knew that Sofia had a history with him.

As a father, he wanted his daughters to be happy, but he also wanted to protect them from heartache. He remembered the night Sofia came to him, tears in her eyes, after her one-night stand with Varghese. He had comforted her then, but now he worried about Leonor getting hurt.

He called Leonor to his study, his voice firm but gentle. "Leonor, my dear, I need to talk to you about Varghese."

Leonor looked up, her eyes sparkling with love. "Father, I know what you're thinking, but I assure you, our relationship is different."

The King sighed. "I know you believe that, dear, but I can't help but worry. He's the same man who broke your sister's heart. What if he does the same to you?"

Leonor's face set in determination. "Father, I understand your concerns, but I trust Varghese. He loves me, and I love him. We're happy together."

The King looked at his daughter, seeing the stubbornness in her eyes. He knew that Leonor was old enough to make her own decisions, but he still worried. He hoped that Varghese was indeed the man Leonor thought he was.

"Very well, Leonor," he said finally. "But I want you to be careful. If he hurts you, he'll have to answer to me."

Leonor smiled, relief in her eyes. "Thank you, Father. I will."
