Queen thoughts

Queen Letizia watched her daughters, Leonor and Sofia, with a mix of concern and understanding. She knew that Leonor was deeply in love with Varghese, but she also knew that Sofia had a history with him.

As a mother, she wanted her daughters to be happy, but she also wanted to protect them from heartache. She remembered the night Sofia came home, tears in her eyes, after her one-night stand with Varghese. She had consoled her then, but now she worried about Leonor getting hurt.

She called Leonor to her chambers, her voice firm but gentle. "Leonor, dear, I need to talk to you about Varghese."

Leonor looked up, her eyes sparkling with love. "Mother, I know what you're thinking, but I assure you, our relationship is different."

The Queen sighed. "I know you believe that, dear, but I can't help but worry. He's the same man who broke your sister's heart. What if he does the same to you?"

Leonor's face set in determination. "Mother, I understand your concerns, but I trust Varghese. He loves me, and I love him. We're happy together."

The Queen looked at her daughter, seeing the stubbornness in her eyes. She knew that Leonor was old enough to make her own decisions, but she still worried. She hoped that Varghese was indeed the man Leonor thought he was.
