Chapter 13: The Omniscient Yuhara

Shisui's reverent gaze made Yuhara somewhat uncomfortable. In his worldview, one man looking at another man with such admiration was simply unacceptable. However, Yuhara gradually realized that Shisui's gaze wasn't due to any issues with his orientation. Instead, Shisui genuinely held deep respect for him. Over the next few days, Shisui's behavior completely changed. He no longer seemed like a friend or peer, but rather a humble student. Whenever he asked for information, he diligently recorded it.

Seeing Shisui's eagerness to learn made Yuhara nostalgic. If he had been as studious as Shisui, he might have attended a top university back in his previous life. "Well, it's nice to think about, but let's not get lost in unrealistic daydreams," he mused to himself.

Yuhara was delighted by Shisui's transformation. Even though discussing Marxism-Leninism might not be appropriate in a world with supernatural powers, he still had much to share with Shisui. He was grateful for the education he received in his previous life, as this world seemed to lack political education. In Konoha, the predominant ideology was the "Will of Fire," which Yuhara saw more as brainwashing than true education.

This kind of teaching never addressed the true nature of the world, nor did it teach how to understand and change it. It also didn't cover the concept of contradictions, leaving people unaware of their true adversaries. Instead, it emphasized loyalty to the village and the Hokage, pushing the "Will of Fire" without further explanation.

"Maybe from the beginning, ninjas were 'family' in the eyes of Hashirama Senju, but now they've become 'tools,'" Yuhara reflected. The concept of ninjas as tools was prevalent within the village. Even Kakashi had been treated as a tool-like ninja, and Danzo Shimura's view on ninjas was firmly rooted in this notion.

Thinking deeper, it made sense. Tools without self-awareness were easier to control than individuals who understood everything.

"Is this the place?" Yuhara and Shisui, after a long journey from the Land of Hot Water, reached the eastern coastline. From here, they could sail directly to the Land of Waves. However, their destination wasn't the Land of Waves but a small village on the border of the Land of Hot Water. Their target was Raiga Kurosuki, a former member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist who had defected.

Yuhara had hoped to seek out Zabuza Momochi, but unfortunately, Zabuza hadn't defected yet. The beheading sword was still with Biwa Juzo, and Itachi Uchiha hadn't fled to the Mist Village with him yet. Thus, Yuhara had to give up on Zabuza and focus on his former teammate instead.

According to the information, Raiga had entered the Land of Hot Water from the Land of Waves, within Konoha's jurisdiction. Small nations were always in a sorry state, serving as battlegrounds during wars and being divided into spheres of influence by larger nations during peacetime.

"That's right. According to the intelligence from the Anbu, he was last seen here. It seems he plans to take over a village," Shisui confirmed after observing the surroundings.

"Trying to take over a village again? What are these guys thinking?" Yuhara, though aware of Raiga's intentions from the original story, couldn't help but mock the absurdity. "Such a small village; does he think he can turn it into a ninja village? That's too far-fetched."

"Who knows?" Shisui shrugged. "Should we start now or wait until tomorrow?"

The sun had already set, and a silver moon hung high in the sky. While it wasn't unusual for ninjas to carry out missions at night, Yuhara, after a moment of thought, shook his head. "We've been traveling nonstop and need rest. Besides, your leave isn't up yet, so there's no rush."

"True, resting and recovering is wise," Shisui agreed, his eagerness to fight fading. His change in attitude amused Yuhara, but it was a positive sign, showing Shisui's trust in him. Now, Shisui's view of Yuhara went beyond mere trust.

Yuhara believed that if he ever decided to act against Fugaku Uchiha, Shisui would be the first to support him.

"Speaking of which, Yuhara, what are your plans when you return to the clan?" Shisui asked as they made a simple campfire and roasted a rabbit for dinner. "You've mentioned having a plan, but I'm curious about the specifics. I need to be prepared."

"You never stop, do you?" Yuhara laughed, shaking his head. He appreciated Shisui's proactive stance, which indicated readiness to overthrow Fugaku Uchiha.

"My plan is simple. A great leader once said to unite all who can be united. We can apply this to our current situation. Who makes up the majority of our clan? The ordinary Uchiha members, especially those who haven't awakened their Sharingan. They have the least power and voice but are the true majority. So, where does power come from in the clan? Is it from the clan leader, the elders, or the majority?"

"Uh…" Shisui hesitated before frowning and answering, "The clan leader, right?"

"I recently told you to see beyond appearances and not be deceived by your assumptions," Yuhara sighed. "Remember, in the power structure, the clan leader and elders wield power. But this power is granted by the majority of the Uchiha. True power comes from the obedience of the lower ranks."

"So…" Yuhara paused, watching Shisui's face shift from confusion to realization.

"I see. If the lower ranks stop obeying and listen to us instead, the current leaders lose their power, and we gain control!" Shisui exclaimed. "Yuhara, you're incredible. You seem to know everything..."
