Chapter 2: Ridgewood Highschool!

[Date: September 24 - Time 06.15 am - Location Golden Gate City - Bakeres street - Number:111]

*AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...AHHHHHHHHH!!!*

Inside a typical teenager's bedroom, a light brown-skinned, dreeded teen that drinks way too much redbull groaned as his hand slapped the alarm clock.

"That's the last time I ever by a second had an alarm clock from some sketchy van." Elijah yawned not feeling at all up to going to school. Maybe he could just skip for a day, that wouldn't be so bad, would it?

"Plus if I skip I'll get able to get to MouMou's book sighing...honestly that sounds really tempting." He thought about it for a good second, weighing the pros and cons.

But thinking about how his mother would grill into him if he ever skipped school without a good reason sent a shiver down his spine and he reluctantly got up from his bed.

"School it is."

School started at 8:30 so he had some time before needing to head out.

So like he usually did, he walked to the corner of the room and performed some simple exercises, doing exactly 100 squats, 100 sits up, and 100 push ups. He also does a 10-kilometre run but that's when hes coming back home.

As Elijah was going on his 50th sit-up, he heard screaming coming from the house next door. It sounded like a step brother was a about to break his sisters back. "Ah! looks like Sarah and Brad are having a good morning."

"Sarah, you bitch I knew you were cheating on me, I should have listened to my mother and left when I had the chance."

"Maybe I wouldn't need to go outside for a good time if you fucked me like a man. And don't you dare say that sluts name."

"Who are you calling a slut, more like pot calling the Kettle black."

"That's it, we're done."

Haa!! And the cycle continues.

Sarah and Brad were his very vocal next-door neighbours, and despite how things may seem they had a pretty strong relationship. Well, strong maybe isn't the right word to describe their dynamic.

For the past two years, those two have been off and off, it could be about Sarah fucking the mailman, or it could be Brad fucking the mailman. It really just depends on what mood they're in. But without fail either by the end of the day or week, they're always back together.

"That's one on the board for Brad, man he's on a roll this month," He said with suprise as he picked up a whiteboard marker from the floor and added a point to the board connected to the wall that had a score of Sarah's and Brad's breakups.

So far Sarah was in the lead with 1152 breakups initiated by her, while Brad only had, 1011 but he was on a 25-break-up streak.

"Five more for Brad and ill have a bingo." He thought to himself in mild amusement.

After updating the score he made his way to the bathroom to get ready. After taking a quick shower he made his way to the living room, where he cooked some breakfast for himself, bacon, eggs, toast and camomile tea that his mother had brought from London.

You're wondering where she might be, we'll she isn't normally around. You see she's an archaeologist so her work has her in many different locations around the world for long periods of time.

Of course, I speak to her most days but there are times when there is no signal where she is so I'm not in contact with her then. He's happy that she's finally fulfilling her dreams, but it gets pretty lonely here without her, but I'm used to it by now.

As he was eating Elijah looked at the time, he had around 30 minutes to kill before needing to head out so he picked up the half-beaten remote and turned the mini TV inside the kitchen on.

Golden Gate City Morning News Report!!!

*Intro Music Plays*

"Good morning, Golden Gate residents! It's a beautiful day here in our beloved city. I'm your host, Evelyn Smith, bringing you the latest news as you start your day. Let's dive right in." She smiled at the camera as the feed switched to the weather.

'Wasn't she the news Anchor that got caught sniffing lines at that one celebrity's party?' Elijah thought remembering hearing about it not too long ago.

*Cut to Weather Segment*

"Thank you, Evelyn. Today, Golden Gate City is basking in some lovely summer sunshine. We're expecting clear skies with temperatures hovering between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Perfect weather for a day at the park or a stroll along the waterfront. Looking ahead to the weekend, we'll see slightly cooler temperatures with a refreshing breeze from the west. So, get ready for some comfortable, enjoyable days ahead.

*Cut to Community Segment*

"Sounds like perfect weather for the Golden Gate City Summer Festival happening right now at Central Park. If you haven't visited yet, the festival features live music, a variety of food trucks, and an artisan market showcasing local crafts. It's a fantastic event for the whole family, running through the weekend."

"In other news, the mayoral election is just around the corner. Benjamin Queen, a prominent local figure, is leading the race and is the favourite to win. Queen's campaign is centred on progressive policies, focusing on urban development, enhancing public transportation, and bolstering community programs..."

"That's all for now. Enjoy your breakfast and have a wonderful day, Golden Gate City. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the day."

*Outro Music Plays*

'I guess there isn't a need for me to wear a jacket today.' Elijah thought finishing his last piece of bacon before finally heading off to school.'

'Ridgewood wood high, how I've not missed you for a single moment.' This was the high school Elijah had been attending for two years.

This school was founded in the late 90s right after World War I, some of the most famous people in the world like some big-time celebs have graduated from this school.

Though if you asked for names he honestly couldn't tell you a single one. Not for the lack of not being able to, but for the lack of not caring.
