'Only two years remaining and then it's off to university. I still don't know what I want to do or which university I want to apply to.'
He had been thinking about it for a long time but he honestly couldn't make up his mind. He was one of the honour students at the school, and his estimate for the end of the fourth year was a 3.9 to 4.0 GPA score.
And despite loving many subjects, he wasn't Overy attached to any of them. "Maybe I should take my chances seducing a sugar mama." He thought not finding the idea all that bad.
As Elijah was walking along, he noticed a few familiar faces, some from his class, others from other things. But no one approached him, why was that?
Well because he had no friends...tragic I know but that's the way he preferred it, it wasn't like he was against making friends or anything it's just that he preferred a more quiet atmosphere around him.
Not to mention everyone thought he was the weird kid who liked anime, yep in this world anime is seen as weird, truly he can only pray that one day they will appreciate the culture that is anime.
'Speaking of anime, a new season of Punch Man is coming out soon, can't forget about that.'
Elijah walked through the bustling entrance of Ridgewood High School, weaving through groups of students who were either catching up after the summer break or complaining about their early morning classes.
As he approached the parking lot, he noticed a growing commotion.
A crowd of excited students had gathered, their attention fixed on a sleek, black Rolls Royce that had just pulled up.
The car door opened and out stepped a girl with beautiful blonde hair cascading down her shoulders and striking ice-blue eyes. She looked like she had walked straight out of a high school movie, exuding an aura of confidence and poise.
This was Ashley Queen, known as the "Queen Bee" of Ridgewood High, daughter of Benjamin Queen, the potential new mayor of Golden Gate City, and multi-millionaire...did I mention their multi-millionaires.
As soon as Ashley emerged, a group of peppy cashmere-clothed girls rushed to her side, showering her with compliments and questions about her summer.
"Ashley! You look amazing! Where did you get that top?"
"Oh my gosh, did you hear about the party this weekend?"
"I can't believe you got a Rolls Royce for your birthday!"
Ashley smiled and responded with a practised charm, "Thanks, girls! It's just something I picked up on a trip to Paris. And yes, I did hear about the party. I'll be there, obviously." She tossed her hair over her shoulder and laughed. "Anyway, I've got to get to class. See you all later!"
With that, she walked away, leaving the group of girls in awe. Elijah, who had been observing the scene from a distance, shook his head in disbelief. "How can anyone be that excited this early in the morning?" he muttered to himself as he made his way inside the school.
Once inside, Elijah headed straight for his locker. He grabbed the books he needed for his first class and noticed that the bathroom right in front of his locker was closed. Just then, Steve, the janitor, walked out, carrying a toolbox.
"Hey, Steve," Elijah greeted him. "What's going on with the bathroom?"
Steve sighed and wiped his brow. "Plumbing issue. The toilets won't be functional until the end of the day. Sorry for the inconvenience."
Elijah chuckled. "Guess I'll be holding it in then. How was your holiday, Steve?"
Steve smiled. "It was good, thanks for asking. Took the family out to the countryside for a bit. How about you?"
"Pretty uneventful," Elijah replied. "Just the usual stuff. Anyway, I better get to class. See you around."
"Take care, Elijah," Steve said, giving him a friendly nod before heading off to his next task.
Elijah closed his locker and made his way to his homeroom class.

[Date: September 24 - Time: 08:31 am - Location: Ridgewood High School - Homeroom]
The classroom buzzed with conversation as students chatted animatedly about their summer vacations, the latest gossip, and upcoming plans.
In one corner, Ashley and her posse were in their usual spot, filing their nails while texting their boyfriends. The sight of them made some of the guys in the room stare longingly, wishing they could be the ones receiving those texts. It was hard to blame them; not only were they teenagers, but the girls, despite their loud personalities, were undeniably gorgeous.
Ashley, in particular, stood out. With her model-like curves, flawless skin, and a scent that seemed to linger delightfully wherever she went, she could easily be mistaken for a Victoria's Secret model.
Even the most popular guys in school, like the soccer captain Davis, were vying for a chance to date her, though none had succeeded so far.
On the opposite side of the room, Elijah sat quietly, tuning out the surrounding chatter.
His mind wandered to more mundane things, like what he was going to cook for dinner and the groceries he needed to pick up on the way home. He made a mental note to visit the market for fresh ingredients.
Just then, the door to the classroom opened, just as the school bell rang, signalling the official start of the school day. The students quickly found their seats and fell silent as a woman walked into the room. She was as stunning, if not more so, than Ashley. Her mere presence made all the boys in the room gulp.
Her name was Clara Kennedy, though everyone referred to her as Miss Kennedy. She had long, flowing black bluish hair that was often tied up, with a few loose strands framing her angular attractive face. Her lips were a striking cherry red, and her fashion sense was impeccable.
She was one of Elijah's favourite teachers, known for her straightforward attitude and no-nonsense approach. Miss Kennedy didn't mince words, and that was something Elijah appreciated; honesty, no matter how brutal, was always better than sugar-coated lies.
