Knowing a bit about each other

After all that whole morning fiasco and collecting scraps, we finally reached in class. It was one hell of a morning. I didn't know I had it in me, to be a part of such a lively time. It sure left me with lactose in my muscles for trying that sprint and for what! couldn't even made it in time.

Things are changing gradually. With each passing day my circle is getting a bit bigger, my emotions are getting a bit bigger, my days are getting a bit bigger, my smile is getting a bit bigger. 

And I'm getting a bit scared, a bit anxious. I'm liking this change a bit too much and I'm afraid of things going back to as they were before.

You never know what you were missing your whole life until you get it and once you've had its taste you are unable to think how you've got without it after all this time and then you're scared to lose it all one day suddenly.

I've started to talk more with Inaya, with Xayden. Now we talk normally just like normal friends which was not normal for me. Its good, its bad because my crush is just getting bigger and bigger with each day we talk together, laugh together, have fun together.

"Kai can be a bit of idiot but he's a nice guy." Xayden said once we took our seats.

"I agree, he is nice. Well Ezra is also a bit difficult with most of the human beings so don't mind her actions too much with your friend". I said looking at him.

" Oh! I didn't mind it one a bit. he totally deserved it, and it was fun seeing him getting smacked." He said while grinning.

"How long have you known each other." I asked a bit curious.

"We are childhood friends" he replied.

"What, then why are you both in different school?" I asked now totally intrigued. 

He laughed at my shocked face and said, " It's because we moved here when I was in second grade. That time I didn't knew that kai's family was our Neighbour. they had gone to their village for his grandfather's funeral. And my father had already got me admissioned in our school and when Kai returned, and we became friends we got know that we were in different school. By that time, I was pretty much settled in the school, so I didn't change it. and as we were Neighbours already, so we became quite close eventually. He had this genuine smile on his face when he finished the story.

"Oh, this is why" I was saying when the teacher entered the class and started teaching. we got back to studying. sometimes talking in between, making jokes or helping each other when one would get stuck.

After few periods it was miss Solane's class and I was so bored that I started sketching in my book.

"Thats a cool one. Now I totally get you being in the art club" Xayden said while looking in my book.

"You bored?" he asked

"Yes"

"But the chapter is not that boring"

" I know it's really interesting"

" Then what's the problem"

"I'm the problem. You know I've this bad habit that whenever I get into new grade, I would be so excited over getting new books especially the language ones because of the stories. so much excited that I would just read the whole book. and now here I'm knowing every story and every ending so it's really boring when I have to listen to it again. I completed poutingly.

" Why would you do that to yourself" he said looking at me incredulously.

" I don't know. I can't help it. 

He stared at me for a few seconds and then bursted into laughter and after few seconds I too joined him. We were so lost in our laughs that we didn't pay attention to how quiet our surroundings were.

" Eraya Haven and Xayden Hayes, ten laps now". Miss Solane's voice reached us loud and clear.

There was pin drop silence in class, and everyone was staring at us. We both stood up quickly and quietly exited the class all while having everyone's eyes on us. when I looked at Ezra, she was smirking at me. 

We left from there quickly and when we were a few distance away from the class we looked at each other and again bursted into fit of laughter's.

" You both, again are you doing this deliberately." we heard Roman sir say looking at us.

Seriously the number of times I have gotten punished in these few weeks I'm myself shooked.

" We aren't suicidal" we both replied simultaneously.

" Shoo! go get started now" Roman sir ordered and we both started.

" So, who are in your family?"  he questioned I guess to make small talk to make this torture a bit bearable.

" My mum, dad, elder brother and an elder sister."

" Wow! so, you're the youngest" 

" Yes. and what about you?

" Mum, dad, and a little brother."

" You have a little brother! what's his name and how old, is he? I asked excitedly

" He's name is Nico and he's seven years. We have quite an age gap" he said a bit shyly.

"What! that's so cute I've always wanted a little sibling. you're living my dream." I said while wiping fake tears. He only shooked his head and laughed seeing my over dramaticness. 

" what's your hobby?" he asked 

" Interested in knowing me" I joked

' You bet! " He replied.

laughing looking at his serious expression I answered, " I love sketching, but you know that now. Other than that, I love reading and sleeping." 

'" sleeping, as in hobby " he repeated

" Don't you dare say anything about it or you'll be blacklisted" I replied in a no-nonsense voice.

" Okay... Okay, no use for violence" he said motioning his hand in surrender.

" Now tell me about your hobbies?" I asked 

" Interested in me now are we" he replied while smirking using my own words.

" You bet!"  I said cheekily and he smiled at that. If he only knew how true, these words were.

" I love volleyball, but you know about that. other than that, I love journaling and gardening." he said making me shock.

" I could have never guessed it" I told him being totally surprised.

" Is it that hard to imagine" he replied taking my shocked face and laughing.

" I don't know about others but for me it is" 

Just like that we talked till all the ten rounds were over.

" Juice" Xayden asked.

"Thankyou", I said taking the bottle of apple juice he forwarded. Laps were finally over, and we had just come to canteen as lunch break had started.

We were just drinking when I heard someone scream, " Look! Captain is alone with some girl".

That had me choke up on my juice and Xayden quickly came at my side patting my back.

" What are you guys doing here" Xayden replied while blocking my view of them. there were four of them.

" Coach is calling you, something about the match" someone said. So, they were his teammates well its quite easy to make that one out because of their height. What the hell do they eat to become this tall.

He turned towards me and said looking a bit sad, " Sorry Eraya I have to go"

"No need to be sorry Xayden. You should go fast. It could be important. I replied smiling.

Someone was just about to say something when he forcefully dragged them with him while saying bye to me.

I was just about to drink my juice again when someone more specifically Ezra shook me up while screaming in my damn ears
