Unconsciously, his trembling arms recklessly hovered in the air probing something for him to cuddle. When his fingertips were brought to a solid and freezing figure, he started to wrap his arms around it, nuzzling for comfort as well as solace.
Fuxiao could feel the man's warmth even in his slumber. Being trapped in this embrace is hard to a sensitive person like him, it's giving him a little dilemma. Yet, it's probably the best not minding it for the meantime as he sleeps.
The night falls, giving way to dawn. The vibrant hues of orange and red rendered the skies. Mists stimulated and covered the mountains with the morning sunlights; dew trickling down the willow tree's droopy leaves, wetting the soil once it reaches down the bottom. Inside Fuxiao's cave, the mist gathered in an ethereal carpet.
Arms by arms, flesh by flesh, they cradled. Fuxiao held the man tightly upon his embrace, faltering the man's unconscious state. Character lines drew the man's face, a sign of his awakening. His back ache triggered his spine, flinching from the slightest movements. The man's lashes trembled from the morning aches, wondering why such things must happen for precious humans like him. He wouldn't want to turn down his mood from the sudden achiness, but the urge to swear out is unbearable.
"Fuck," who could resist it anyway? Not him, he ain't those type of people whose day would start with rainbows and sun shines.
Talking about it, he remembered what happened last night. Oh wait, what was it again? The man's face distorted, trying to recall the events last night. But before he could drift off to his rugged memory, his ear drums trembled, eyes vibrating as soon as a form of human's body shifted in his arms.
"Eh?"
His eyes travelled down, afraid that it might meet the creature's terrifying trap. His eyes moved slowly as does his head, tilting down as if though his life is threatened once he makes a wrong move. Cold sweat started to form on his temple, jeopardizing to fall down his chin. New set of made up curses swirled on his mind, his thoughts running wild from just a single movement. He swallowed the lump on his throat, praying that this is just one of those dreams he always have. Rather having a shitty dream than walking in a lion's den for no reason.
How did he even get in there anyway? His thoughts are too fogged with internal curses he struggled to remember the events last night.
The man took a deep sigh, calming down his nerves. If this is a dream, he shouldn't feel like he's floaty. By the moment he finished encouraging himself, he turned his gaze back to the creature's face, only then did he meet two sets of eyes with pupils sharper than a dagger. Like two golden embers were stuck in those sockets as a lamp in the darkness; pupils growing thinner from the endless stare they exchanged. He couldn't help but feel his face getting hotter, watching the light smoke this creature's eyes' emits.
"Adorning my physique, I see. Couldn't blame you though," the weird creature's deep voice chimed, striking a voltage down the man's spine.
"You don't need to thank me of your healing wounds, it's my priority to help other people." Fuxiao began, his words sounding rather forced.
He helped himself to sit up, brushing his fingers through his snowy silky hair. The proportioned horns that were long enough to reach the dusking moon, like the waves of an ocean shore painted upon his horns, they were slightly dimmed. His well sculpted and chiseled body wasn't cloaked with clothes that could cover his body, as if he's showing off his well-trained body. Over his hips were graced with curvy metal chain accompanied by a metal carved lotus in the middle to attach the metal in place. With a thin fabric that hindered his sight from seeing his—well, it's family friendly stuff.
Is this man being for real? Or was I fucking myself with dopamine last night to make me this high? The man thought, trying to pick up the words spoken by this creature from his current appearance. Seriously though.
With a low and sultry chuckle goes Fuxiao mocking the man, hoping for courtesy coming out of this man's mouth, he took fancy of being complimented by someone through visual. "Haven't done complimenting my looks, hm? Say, what's your name, gentlemen?"
The man took a moment to snap out to reality, his gaze faltered away from Fuxiao's hips to his face. "The name's Fan Shen Gui, it's an honor to meet you..."
Fuxiao's nose scrunched from that odd scrutiny; hiding his dread with a sarcastic smile that he rarely does, he replied to the other, "Fuxiao, dear."
Shen Gui hummed in response, offering a serene smile. "Is this your sanctuary, friend? I say, It's pretty elegant," He unknowingly complimented the surroundings. Even if it's just a simple and rocky ol' cave, Shen Gui never staggered to bring up an "honest" compliment. Is this idiot being fearless or idiotic? Complimenting a different creature's sanctuary is actually a staircase down to death. How could Fuxiao complain though? No one has ever complimented his hard work, rather, they are scared.
People might call him weird for liking the texture of a moss, but to him, moss is the alternative version of a carpet.
The corner of Shen Gui's lip expanded, squirming under the restrained poisonous words. Like hell he would compliment a random cave, he probably needs to play along to wake up from this dream. No one can convince him this is real life, unless he could punch without the feeling of his fist's acceleration slowing down.
With a deliberate shift, he strode down from his bed and assisted Shen Gui to stand up from the ground. "Let me help you get up. That blow last night was surely fun, right?" he said, inspecting the other's face of his obvious hints.
Shen Gui's face lost its pigmentations as Fuxiao expected, doubting that this is either dream or schizophrenia. He kept gaslighting himself into thinking that this is all just a bad dream that takes too long to wake up.
What. The. Fuck? He cursed, bits by bits, I gave this man a fucking blow job?!?!? Shen Gui started to tremble from his sexual crisis, eyes spinning with bewilderment as his heart started to pump ferociously. He wanted to scream, but his voice was blocked with something on his throat. His body started to feel light and heavy at the same time.
If you were fucking with dopamine, you should have done it all alone, Da Gui!!
Fuxiao expected this outcome, but not this much of a melodramatic silence following right after. It's kinda bugging the patience of his popping veins on his forehead, having the urge to slap this person out of his life. Sure, he is eye-catching, but it's also an eyesore to him.
Fuxiao's arms wrapped around Shen Gui's shoulder, forcing himself to be friendly with this man—who knows, maybe he could get what he wanted from this man right after, and then he could double it the more he acts "friendly".
He pulled the man beside him, sitting on the edge of the bed. It may be unbearable from the start, but if he is finally given with the chance, he could take his revenge from those shamefulness. It might take a lot of efforts though, considering how pathetically dumb this person looks aside from his face.
"Hey," Shen Gui called out.
Fuxiao turned his attention back to Shen Gui with a welcoming smile, "Ah, yes?"
When this man smiled at him with hospitality, he couldn't help but feel awful for stating his opinions clear. Perhaps its a misunderstanding, yet the dopamine is really hitting the wrong spot in his air-filled brain right now, convinced that he laid with this unknown species ever known to humankind.
"Was it... Enjoyable?" He asked, burying his face in his palms as those words hang in the air freely.
Enjoyable? Fuxiao thought, fighting back his intrusive thoughts from harming this brainless human's stupidity. His fist clenching tightly on his side. What on earth does he mean by enjoyable? Is dying enjoyable? Did he cross paths with a masochist that might kill him in the future? His teeth gnashed with each other, turning into a stone by this stupid person fooling around him.
Leaving this idiot dying was probably the right choice.
"Say what?"
"Was it enjoyable?"
Fuxiao's head sluggishly drifted back towards him, radiating dangerous air. The time he faced Shen Gui, he grabbed his shoulders and pulled him closer, his urges were too strong for him to hold back, "What, in the name of heaven and earth are you talking about, you scumbag, vile, burnt from the ground creature. Just because my patience is running leisurely, that doesn't bmean you have to waste my time with a stupid question."
The sudden threat made Shen Gui flinch in uneasiness, yet as though he's a maniac, a large grin plastered on his lips and tried to tease the creature, "Aww, was I too much to handle for you last night?" The sentence was built with bricks of boldness and a cement of thick-face, trying to pry for some answers with his sheet knowledge.
He learned that a person's patience is limited if they're not fond with honesty. Shen Gui was often lied to by people when he was still a child due to his innocence. Others would even go to such extent as framing him from their petty mistakes; so as a child, he have to push their tolerance to the limit until they would slump their shoulders in defeat. It's the same as punching someone in the face and kneeling right after throwing a blow to aim at the lower section of their weak points.
A low whistle hummed out from his lips. Daz a good trick ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°).
Of course this technique has its limits—people with fast paced reactions and wit are the only ones tolerant to this kind of torture. Right now, this person is not as sharp as he seems. It should be the great opportunity to catch the large fish in the Pacific Ocean.
Fuxiao's thin brow writhen in annoyance, his smile petrified further. How dare this scoundrel test his patience with intimate words, just because he acted out of kindness yesterday, does not mean this idiot would take advantage of him. He was planning to befriend this idiot, but now it's merely possible to let this idiot linger in his cave. The veins on his forehead formed like a crown from Shen Gui's annoying rejoice of creepy giggles. If this little laughter goes on, he would rather pluck his ears out.
Eventually, Shen Gui's serene hum disrupted the eerie silence. "Have you always been alone in this little sanctuary of yours?" His voice laced with curiosity, perking up his thick eyebrow that matched the color of his hair, Raven curly short hair.
Does it needed to be asked? Isn't it obvious? Fuxiao fought himself from rolling his eyes to the back of his head, eventually breaking his charade by his grimace.
"I am? So what?" His voice hoarse from the humiliation, putting lines between them as a reminder of their boundaries.
"So pathetic, tsk," Shen Gui clicked his tongue and shook his head pitifully, striking Fuxiao's irritation.
The bed rattled as their heaviness carried the bed. Shen Gui lied down with a grin etched up on his lips; Fuxiao pointed a broken shard of vase to his neck with a stern gaze, his golden sharp eyes fixated deeply onto Shen Gui's soul, "Just because I helped you from dying out there in wild despite tripping me on the ground is not a big excuse for you to act so lofty around me. I could end you right now if not for my conscience."
Shen Gui let out an exaggerated giggle, pushing away the broken shard with his forefinger with a large snigger, "Was it my fault that my body was back there lying on the ground helplessly? I was unconscious and you blamed me for tripping you like I've schemed you to shame you, ah~?"
To be frank, who would blame the water for chocking a person's life? That's why people shouldn't stagger when they are moving—mindlessly thinking is not the same as losing control, people should often think of that. It's neither of them to blame in this situation, since the two wasn't conscious at the time of the scene. The two are both subconscious.
Wait, how come this suddenly became serious? Shen Gui's eyes flickered down in realization, while Fuxiao caught him glimpsing on that part of his privates area.
His face fell down from the realization. A loud smack resonated in the air when he landed a smack on the idiot's head with his knuckles; his stomach turned as he knew that gaze elsewhere, it's the first time he was given that stare by the person he saved.
"Ahh! Hey! Why the assault?! I didn't even make a move yet!" Shen Gui screeched and rubbed that spot gently, pouting in order for his trick to work. Though that smack really swelled his head.
Fuxiao grimaced at him, gripping the other's shoulder tightly, "I don't care, you shouldn't look at me like that, you idiot!!"
"I was just thinking, not looking!!" His voice raised slightly.
"As if you really were 'just thinking', you can't fool me!!" Snarled Fuxiao.
Shen Gui puffed out a heavy sigh, pushing away Fuxiao's hand on his shoulder to prevent brawling, "Hey now, why are we yelling!!"
It's true, why are they yelling if they are just a meter away? Humans tend to vent their anger through shouting, but it's useless either way. Since Fuxiao adapted the human's livelihood, he would most likely act like one. He removed his hands away from Shen Gui, pondering deeply about this behavior. Yeah right, why does venting have to shout? They could just speak out their hidden thoughts without any sort of violence. Also, shouting is a form of violence; one's soft heart might dampen with the unintended words spoken out, like a dry cloth in thrown in a large container of water as an absorption.
He placed his knuckles under his chin, deep in thoughts. Damn, Shen Gui really fooled him. This person has a common sense, it's probably the best to keep him by his side for the mean time before he finds his mate. He may be an idiot, but he could help him out through human's communication.
With a baffled expression on him, he choked on his words as Shen Gui's eyes beamed for an answer from Fuxiao's savage mouth. Even his sigh was skeptical as he heaved out. "I- fine then. You're a... Human anyway.."
Shen Gui waited for another insult with a slip-up, though he blinked twice as he heard of Fuxiao's murmur, "h-The fuck?" He accidentally spoke out his thought, falling into his own tricks.
Observing Shen Gui's reaction, Fuxiao rolled his eyes, "I said I'll let you live in my place without any arguments. Once I find my own mate, you can no longer live with me."
"Wait, wait, wait."
Fuxiao's brows furrowed, "What?" His voice sharp.
"What the hells are you talking about??? I didn't even ask you if I could live in here, I just wanted to know what happened yesterday after you discovered me," said Shen Gui, confusion written on his face.
Fuxiao's face softened a bit, still aware of any movements from Shen Gui. Tilting his said to the side as he stated, "I tripped and got mad, so I dragged you to my cave as an act of revenge."
"No, no, no. What... Erm.. Could you have guessed what might have... Hapened?"
"Yeah, you could have possibly been tortured and was attempted to be burried alive, but they were too lazy to bury you, so they left you rotting there. Serves you right."
Of course, what should he expect from someone like this creature who looks like a cosplayer from some sort of shitty game. He could barely remember what happened during or before this incident, it just sort of happened. What ever this is, he shouldn't let it slip pass.
This dream is a bit complicated than it seems, he should wake up soon or they would miss him.
It's also impossible that he died back there, his soul should have transmigrated into someone else's body in here. Although it is possible that he could have migrated from his world into here, that may be the case.
He blinked twice before chuckling. Nahhh, it's far too early to make conclusions; making the icing before the whole cake is a big mistake and might create a whole misunderstanding.
"Um... Okay? Thank you, I guess," he let out an uncertain thanks, annoying Fuxiao's pride.
His face contorted again, threatening Shen Gui's choice of words. Fuxiao glared right back at him with an eerie silence, forcing out this delicious words of gratitude that his anger could savor.
"Alright, alright. So demanding for the first time we meet," he murmured, sharpening Fuxiao's gaze even more, in this way, he couldn't complain anymore, "Tch. Thank you very much!!! I really, really appreciate your offer that I didn't even ask for!!" Shen Gui forced his teeth out smiling, veins bulging out from his temples.
The last complaint caught Fuxiao's fierce gaze once more, pressuring the idiot to give up complaining. When the air fell silent, the earthy smell of the ancient rock and the aquatic scent released from his pool combined together to make a nice odor. It was warm and fuzzy due to the morning mists cloaking all over the place; the sun seems to have risen above.
He cleared his throat and nodded with haughtiness, rubbing his finger under his nose. Receiving a compliment from a bad person is as good as calming down the wild, ugly dog.
When one is in this world, they should know who is obedient to who, or they would follow the wrong leader. By the time the new emperor risen up, there were no crowned prince left to rule, but the capability to show magnamity to the others. It was said that the princes were purposely thrown out of their quarters without a warning for them to communicate with the people even if they have no powers. Once they reach out to the emperor, then they would still come back with their title, yet with no capability of becoming the next emperor.
If they ever fall in love with a commoner which is against the laws of monarchy, then they would have to accept being a commoner forever. This is only done if the current emperor's reign is coming to an end.
The world may involve with magical beings, but they still believe in their own gods. Their own devotion shines more than the sun; once opposing beliefs exists in one of the crowd, even they would have to create a space for this one than killing it. The fire may be burning, but it's spreading like a wildfire.
Fuxiao took another good glimpse of this man; the colors of his own set of robes matched the skin tone this idiot have, he was too late to recognize that the fabric is straining under Shen Gui's muscles. Talking about muscles, Fuxiao once crossed paths with an odd guy with body built like a walking bull. Though they haven't talked much back in the past, but he could remember the sheer strength that person holds. His hand could wrap around a pig's head and pull it out easily like it's some toy.
He doesn't know why, but that made him shiver ever since that man ate a raw rabbit by ripping off its ears and eating it calmly. That was the time he promised himself not to get too attached with male humans with such body types, it was also no wonder that he would feel odd with it, he had already felt uneasiness on his stomach by the time he met that person.
Thinking about it right now makes his stomach drop down the floor, it's really disgusting and unpleasant to eat that poor thing with bare hands, atleast he should've coooked it, but it made the whole thing with the dirtiness all over.
It's well said that he doesn't want to be any near to men, if perhaps he makes a male friend, then he should put some boundaries between them, and it should be all right. Albeit, he may have a lot of male friends because of his dainty appearance, it rather attracted a lot of men than the women he made friends with.
His lip pursed as he drew some space between Shen Gui, avoiding any sorts of weirdness especially when this idiot emits some dangerous glint of stupidity. Anyhow, his mate should be a female, not a male. They would rather worsen that state he had the night before. He clicked his tongue and crossed his arms over his chest—the idiotic fear of dying is really getting the best of him.
When his thoughts were running off wildly, this idiot's face popped in front of his clouds of thoughts, grinning widely. Afraid that this dog might run wild based on the mischievousness plastered on his face, he could just slap his forehead with a talisman, controlling this dog like a corpse.
In that way, it would be easier for him to watch this dog's movements. The more Shen Gui's touches are intimate, the more the larkiness creeps out of this idiot's skin.
"Tehee," the idiot chortled.
Oh no, this is bad.
Abruptly, Shen Gui pulled him out of the cave's exit. Fuxiao shrugged his shoulders, thinking that a mere human couldn't possibly find the way out of his cave. He had planted tons of illusions to bait the intruders down to the other side of this whole cave. Those sides either has spiky dripstones, or a cliff down to hell.
His shoulders slumped as he knew that his works are not that cheap to be easily seen. But, when the wobbly sound of the mirroring spell warded off, giving way to both him and this human, his eyes spiraled dumbfoundedly.
"Buddy, look! A pixie!" The idiot pointed out at the pixie who was just minding their bussiness while being called out by a random person.
Fuxiao's mouth agaped; he spoke with Shen Gui askance, "Okay?" Acting like he knew what was going on.
"Give me a tour of this world! I knew you knew that I don't belong from this world, so guide me through the depths of this mystical world!" Shen Gui excitedly claimed. Hoping to find a way escaping this dream.
The sun has now appeared with a grin on its round head. Fuxiao knew through every syllable of the words taken out of Shen Gui's mouth, this person is as bright as the rising sun.
Fuxiao don't want to waste his time for a simple tour around the "world" when Shen Gui could just follow him if he ever goes out. This world is not as easy as it seems, and there are a lot more than what meets the eye, they should be careful, not mindless!
When he opened his mouth once again, he felt a familiar tug on his heart. It's a bit different now considering how it drew him closer to Shen Gui like a magnetic pull, which is very peculiar. He hadn't thought of anything but the thought of pushing this man away. Although, some thing is telling him "otherwise."
His face fell in deep contemplation, mind drifting back to his familiar home. Nothing could beat his perplexity, not even the mightiest ones.
Catching Fuxiao starring blankly to somewhere else, Shen Gui followed his gaze but landed on the grass. He looks in front and slumped his shoulders defeatedly. Why does it seem like this person is not stable in either mental nor his physical health? Even from the slightest mention of a single topic, this creature would keep slacking off of the topic to somewhere else.
He would have to attract his attention back with an act of stupidity to keep the conversation from going. Once the mind is corrupted with an incurable unstable mentality, there's no doubt they would do something more idiotic than the person they perceived as an idiot.
As a sunshine person, himself, he wanted to help this pathetic creature to get up from his knees and stop dwelling in negative emotions. Helping others is one of his top priorities, and it should always be that. If he wanted to help someone, then he should help them no matter what.
Shen Gui's eyes travelled in front, gaze poking elsewhere. The ssunlight landed spectacularly in front of them, displaying the azure eyes like a beaming blue water under the sun's radiance.
"What do you think? Is he crazy?"
Who... Is this idiot talking to?
