A New Path

Senior high school was supposed to be the highlight of Yaro Nakamura's youth. But with his secret abilities and the shadow of his past life hanging over him, his journey took a different turn. Yaro's father, Hiroshi Nakamura, worked as a factory employee, while his mother, Ayumi Nakamura, kept a mini-market. They lived modestly, never having much but always making do with what they had. However, Yaro knew that financial security was fragile.

Yaro had already set up businesses run by his avatars, leveraging his unique skills. The avatars, efficient and tireless, made his enterprises successful. The ability to multiply and modify items in his inventory meant near-zero operational costs. Yet, despite this, Yaro faced a critical challenge: how to convert this wealth into legally obtained income without arousing suspicion.

One evening, as Yaro sat pondering this, he remembered the popularity of live game streaming from his past life. Streamers made considerable money through donations and sponsorships. This sparked an idea.

#### The Start of a Plan

Yaro decided to use his scholarship money to buy a high-end PC. His parents, Hiroshi and Ayumi, were proud of him for earning the scholarship, unaware of his real intentions.

At dinner, Yaro brought up his plan casually. "Mom, Dad, I was thinking of starting a gaming livestream. It could be a good way to relax after studying and maybe earn a bit of money."

Hiroshi raised an eyebrow. "Gaming? Aren't you worried it might affect your studies?"

"I promise it won't. I'll stream late at night after I finish my homework," Yaro reassured them.

"Alright, but don't let it interfere with your schoolwork," Ayumi added, giving her consent with a hint of worry.

#### Setting Up

Yaro set up his streaming equipment and started creating content. He chose Dota 2, the popular MOBA game, as his main focus. He remembered how passionate Hana was about gaming and decided to consult her.

"Hana, do you think Dota 2 is a good game to stream?" Yaro asked during lunch at school.

"Absolutely, Yaro! It's super popular, and if you're good, you'll get a lot of viewers. Why? Are you thinking of streaming?" Hana's eyes lit up with excitement.

"Yeah, I am. I think it could be fun and maybe even profitable."

Hana nodded enthusiastically. "Go for it! I'll help you with anything you need. Maybe we could even play together sometimes."

Their conversation fueled Yaro's determination. He started his streams at 10 PM, playing until 2 AM. His early streams were quiet, but he was undeterred. He ordered his avatars to donate small amounts consistently, creating the appearance of a growing fanbase.

#### Flashback: The Hard Times

The memory of his father's struggle loomed large in Yaro's mind. He remembered the day his father lost his job.

*"Dad, what's wrong?"*

*Hiroshi sat at the kitchen table, his face in his hands. "The factory is blaming me for a machine malfunction. They fired me, and they want me to pay for the damages."*

*Yaro felt a pang of fear. "How much do they want?"*

*"More than we have. I'll have to find another job quickly," Hiroshi said, his voice trembling.*

A few weeks later, Hiroshi had found a job but at a high cost. One night, he hadn't come home.

*"Where's Dad?" Yaro asked his mother, who was pacing worriedly.*

*"I don't know, Yaro. He should have been home by now."*

The next day, they received the devastating news: Hiroshi had been in an accident and didn't survive.

#### Present: The Streaming Success

In this life, Yaro was determined to prevent that from happening. Over the months, his stream grew in popularity, thanks to his skill and the consistent support from his avatars. He was earning enough to save a substantial amount of money.

One evening, Hiroshi approached Yaro, concern etched on his face. "Yaro, I've noticed you've been staying up late every night. Are you sure this streaming thing is worth it?"

"Dad, it's going really well. I've actually started making money from it," Yaro explained.

Hiroshi sighed. "I just don't want it affecting your health or your studies."

"I understand, Dad. But I've got it under control. I promise," Yaro said earnestly.

#### The Turning Point

A year later, the dreaded day came. Hiroshi walked into the house, his shoulders slumped. "I lost my job today," he said quietly. "They're blaming me for a machine fault, and now there's a huge debt we have to pay."

Panic filled the room. Ayumi tried to comfort her husband, but the worry was palpable. That evening, as they sat in the living room, the doorbell rang. Debt collectors had come, demanding payment.

Yaro stood up. "I'll handle this," he said firmly.

The collectors scoffed. "You, a kid? Don't make us laugh."

But Yaro calmly handed them an envelope filled with the exact amount owed. The collectors, stunned, left without a word.

Hiroshi and Ayumi looked at Yaro in disbelief. "Where did you get that money?" Hiroshi asked.

"From my streams, Dad. I've been earning a lot more than you think," Yaro replied.

#### Taking Responsibility

Once the collectors left, Yaro sat his parents down. "Dad, Mom, I want to take over as the head of the family."

Hiroshi was taken aback. "What? Yaro, you're just a teenager."

"I know, but I've been planning for this. I have multiple streams of income now, and I can ensure we're financially stable. I want you to take a break, Dad. Don't rush into another job and risk getting hurt."

Ayumi looked at her son, tears in her eyes. "Yaro, you've done so much already. Are you sure?"

"Yes, Mom. I have big plans for the future, and I need to make sure we're all secure. I can manage our finances better now," Yaro insisted.

Hiroshi sighed, seeing the determination in his son's eyes. "Alright, Yaro. But promise me you'll still focus on your education."

"I promise, Dad. I won't let you down," Yaro said confidently.

With that, Yaro took on the responsibility of the family head, driven by the need to protect his loved ones and change their future for the better. He knew that with his abilities and determination, he could create a life free from the struggles they had faced before.
