Let's spar, but we won't get pregnant

Before long, a group of drowsy Lingxiao Pavilion disciples had gathered in Su Mu's room.

"Su Shao, what's going on?" one of them asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Nothing much, just the morning's issue," Su Mu said, trying to calm himself. "I called you all here to brainstorm ways to exact my revenge and ease my heart's grudge."

Another disciple spoke up, "Su Shao, can't we just wait four days? I'll challenge Yang Kai then and make sure to beat him to a pulp."

Su Mu was displeased. "If I could wait until then, why would I call you here now?"

Everyone was clearly still groggy, and no one paid much attention to Su Mu's words, instead yawning incessantly. Seeing their reaction, Su Mu grew even more frustrated and slapped the table, shouting, "Think hard! If we can't come up with a good plan tonight, none of you are going back to sleep!"

Startled by Su Mu's anger, everyone woke up fully and began racking their brains for ideas.

Soon, a disciple named Li Yun Tian came up with a plan. He approached Su Mu and whispered in his ear, detailing his idea.

Su Mu listened, delighted, and patted Li Yun Tian's shoulder enthusiastically. "Excellent, excellent! This is a great idea. You take charge of this matter!"

"Don't worry, Su Shao!" Li Yun Tian replied with a broad smile.

"Everyone, go back to sleep," Su Mu said with a wave of his hand. The group heaved a collective sigh of relief and quickly dispersed.

Watching the dark night outside, Su Mu smirked sinisterly. "Yang Kai, Senior Brother Yang, let's see what tomorrow brings!"

Moments later, Su Mu fell asleep, satisfied.

The next day, Yang Kai practiced the Body Tempering Technique before heading out to sweep the grounds.

After a day of intense training with the incense burner, Yang Kai was exhausted and sore, but the results were significant. The most noticeable improvement was that the pressure from the world's natural forces seemed slightly reduced when practicing the Body Tempering Technique. This was understandable since the intense pressure from the incense burner's fragrance had helped him adapt, making other pressures easier to handle.

The incense burner was truly a treasure! Yang Kai was eager to finish his chores and return to his training.

However, before he could finish sweeping, someone blocked his path. Looking up, Yang Kai recognized the person somewhat and saw that he was smiling warmly at him.

Li Yun Tian, having devised a plan for Su Mu the previous night, had been given today's task. Although he felt confident, he knew he couldn't afford to be careless. He believed defeating Yang Kai would be easy, but the challenge was getting him to take the bait and fight.

Fortunately, he had kept a low profile during the commotion yesterday and had not spoken much, so Yang Kai probably didn't remember him, which made things easier.

Waiting early along Yang Kai's sweeping route, Li Yun Tian soon saw him approaching and put on a friendly, harmless expression as he walked over.

"This should look friendly enough," Li Yun Tian thought, psyching himself up.

"Do you need something, junior brother?" Yang Kai asked, not bothering with formalities. Despite his low cultivation level, his seniority allowed him to address the Body Tempering disciples as junior brothers.

"Are you Senior Brother Yang Kai?" Li Yun Tian asked, pretending ignorance.

Yang Kai nodded. "I am."

Li Yun Tian was overjoyed. "So it is you! I've heard much about you, Senior Brother Yang. Meeting you today, your reputation is well-deserved!"

Even Li Yun Tian felt disgusted by his own words, but he maintained a sincere and enthusiastic demeanor.

"You're too kind," Yang Kai replied, knowing his reputation was likely quite notorious among the ordinary disciples.

Li Yun Tian, acting very familiar, grabbed Yang Kai's hand and shook it vigorously. "Senior Brother Yang, I heard you gave Zhao Hu a good beating yesterday. It was so satisfying to hear!"

"Do you have a grudge against him?" Yang Kai asked, scrutinizing Li Yun Tian.

Li Yun Tian's expression turned cold. "Yes, that despicable man has wronged me before."

"Why don't you seek revenge yourself?" Yang Kai asked curiously.

"I dream of it, but..." Li Yun Tian sighed, "You must know, Senior Brother Yang, Zhao Hu has powerful backers. Zhao Hu himself is nothing, but I can't afford to provoke those behind him."

"Indeed," Yang Kai nodded, understanding that Su Mu had influential support, deterring ordinary disciples from confronting him.

"So, Senior Brother Yang, when you punished Zhao Hu yesterday, it really gave me a sense of relief." Li Yun Tian appeared genuinely grateful.

Yang Kai laughed. "It was just a sparring match among fellow disciples, nothing more."

Li Yun Tian continued, "Senior Brother Yang, to defeat Zhao Hu, you must be quite strong."

Yang Kai waved his hand. "It's nothing remarkable, really."

Li Yun Tian smirked inwardly, thinking, "You spoke the truth for once. If you hadn't used tricks, Zhao Hu wouldn't have lost." But outwardly, he maintained a respectful attitude, not daring to show any disdain for fear of arousing Yang Kai's suspicion.

"Senior Brother, you're too modest. I, Li Yun Tian, love to spar. Since you've helped me out, I can't miss this chance to learn from you," Li Yun Tian finally got to the point.

Yang Kai smiled wryly. "You want to spar with me?"

Li Yun Tian nodded eagerly. "Of course. Please, Senior Brother, teach me. I want to see how you handled Zhao Hu."

This reason seemed somewhat flimsy, and Yang Kai shook his head. "Forget it. I don't usually fight with others."

Li Yun Tian became anxious. "That won't do, Senior Brother. You must agree."

Yang Kai looked at him with a smile.

Li Yun Tian's heart skipped a beat. Realizing he had spoken too forcefully, he quickly plastered a smile on his face. "I'm just so passionate about martial arts that I feel restless if I don't spar for a day. Please, Senior Brother, indulge me."

"It wouldn't be appropriate," Yang Kai refused.

"Why not?"

"It just seems unnecessary..."

Seeing Yang Kai waver, Li Yun Tian pressed on. "There's no need for any reason to spar among fellow disciples. It benefits both of us."

"That may be so, but... no, it's not happening," Yang Kai continued to refuse.

"Come on, Senior Brother, a little sparring won't hurt anyone," Li Yun Tian said, though inwardly he was growing desperate, fearing his plan might fail. Suddenly, an idea struck him, and he said, "Are you worried about losing contribution points if you lose?"
