Sad Happy

No, Dave!!!!, Trish called for her best friend, Maine came running to pull Dave up, but it's no use he is too heavy and as if he isn't breathing anymore. Dave's parents, family, Maine and Trish's families were there to join the engagement celebration and the baby shower. Yet, the happy event turned into a sad ending. While Dave is fighting for his life in the ICU, Maine is having her baby on the delivery room. As soon as Maine yelled loudly enough to push the baby out of her gut, she and her baby cried so loud Dave heard it and tears flowed like river from his eyes. He can hear everything perfectly though he can't move from where he is lying in the ICU.

Trish gave the little guy to Maine, placing him on her chest while she cried and smiled at the same time from this unexplainable bliss. Trish then went to Dave in the ICU to tell him that he has a beautiful baby boy that they will be naming after him, Dave Jr. When Dave heard he cried and tried to move his finger pointing to the child, then breathed his last. Trish couldn't believe that she lost her best friend today as baby Dave cried so loud that everyone in the hospital heard the cries of pain and joy mixing all together. It is sad but joyful occasion, celebrating a new life with baby Dave but mourning the death of a love one, so dear to me and Maine, and everyone Dave touched when he was alive.

Maine couldn't contain herself from losing Dave and finding out that she still loves him after all. Trish didn't know what to do and just fell to her knees and sobbed.

I was so hurt that I couldn't breathe and as if the world fell on me that I didn't know what to do when Dave passed.

Maine suddenly felt strange waking up and seeing Dave standing right in front of her, delighted to see her and though sad that he had to go away.

I love you so much Dave and thank you for the care. I hope you have forgiven me? I love Trish and she is the only one I want to be with forever. I will take good care of baby Dave and Trish, I cried smiling and placing my palm on Dave's cheeks.

Sorry that I needed to leave you like this. But Thanks! I love you too! Take care of Trish for me she is like a sister to me, okay!, Dave added happily touching Maine's hand.

Thank you, Maine!, Dave added and smiled back, standing with his roses and chocolates on both hands on top of the Eifel Tower. Here are my gifts to you, I almost forgot you love these and the last time I will be able to do before I go. Bye Maine!

Goodbye Dave!, and I woke up looking for Trish who is carrying Dave Junior, on her arms making him sleep.

The next day, Trish was gone. Lorie and I didn't know where she went but I received a message on my phone that my girlfriend is at the airport leaving.

I rushed to catch Trish at the airport, even if I hadn't brushed my teeth and all. Since she was the one who rode us to Paris, I couldn't believe my girl would just be leaving without me and baby Dave. I am carrying Dave Junior in my arms with my carry-on luggage full of baby stuff.

Where are you going? Are you lost ma'am?, a woman, yelling at me not far from where I'm standing.

As if I'm finally feeling lost and that there's no hope in being saved from this mess I created in my life. Trish? I thought, you're going to leave us?

Yup, who else? We're in this together. Why would you think that? I just booked us a flight home why I'm here. I promised Dave that I will take care of you and baby Dave Junior, Trish added.

I gave baby Dave to my besty Lorie and ran towards Trish.

I couldn't help but cry when I heard her voice. I turned around to run, jump up, and hug her. Trish got surprised with what I did and carried me even if I was heavy and laughed. I was so relieved that she decided to stay with us, with baby Dave and I. I kissed her mouth while crying may ass-out from the desperation and pain, from the thought of losing my one perfect person, my unusual relationship with a woman, my love and girl, Trish.

Please, don't ever leave me!, I cried. Lorie was sniffing like a puppy while witnessing Trish and I's pledge of love, with baby Dave cuddled in her arms.

I won't, if you won't either. I love you! Ahhhhh…I am in love with you, Floremaine!

 I am too!, I added.

Will you marry me, Floremaine?, Trish said while kneeling using her right knee, in front of me placing a ring (engraved with Trish and I's initials) on my finger with a green stone in it.

Yes, I will and always!, hahaha!, I added and hugged Trish, then kissed her in the busy airport.

Who says, dreams of true love can't come true!, Maine hugging Trish tightly, with an endless thought that she is so blessed at the moment and Trish is her fabulous savior, her knight and shining angel.
